My Hero (Poem)
my hero
i walk next to your shadow
please be careful where you may take me
super hero don't cry
but you do
when I am sad
you make me happy
like angels do
many people take drugs just to feel happy
i don't
because you
you saved me
like as a hero should do
I listen too you
because you bring me joy
but what more can i give
too you
I wan't to say thank you
for giving me the gift of music
that sweet gift of joy
each day i say a prayer
each day i count a new blessing
because of you
im not scared of the darkness
because of you
you been through the strom
you always stayed strong
because you walk in with the truth
unlike the news do
they lies fly by likes bullets do
trying to take into there doom
like all fools do
you told your truth
like a true king do
lies run sprint
the truth will always run marathon
you won that race
like all good hero do
a true humanitarian
you made a change
breakin the unbreakable chain
making it world history
its seem like you always take time out
just to try to heal the world
giving endlessly from the heart
leaving us all speechless
each day you survive without the odd
without asking for prise or special reconitions
thank you for being my hero
