yeah it was only radio. sony kept pulling the single

i doubt there was ever gonna be a video. sony kept anouncing dates for the single release. it was around our just outside the top 10 just from airplay and a actual release gave it the potential to get to number one. but sony kept pushing it back a couple of weeks at a time and allowed the single to drop down the charts because of the lack of release. if there were issues re a video i doubt sony would have kept pushing the date back.videos are decided on long b4 the actual release because the video has to finished to coincide with the commercial release. the crap had hit the fan with sony long b4 buterflies was released to radio imo and sonys games with butterflies was one example of it. same as they did with rock my world refusing to release it in the USA although billboard said itwas a certain number one if commercially released because of the high position (inside the top 10) it reached just from airplay alone.but sony refused

what a shame. Butterflies could have been such a great hit song if it was released better. It had potential up the ass, imo.

And thanks for the news.

So sad Butterflies wasn't released. Would have given Vince a BOOST in sales!

BUT as we all know - that was exactly what SONY didn't want to happen! :(

Mentionings:

U2 singer Bono seems to think their upcoming tour will be something that has never been done before. Read below with what he had to say on the matter:
"It’s fair to say what we’ve planned for our outdoor shows has never been done before and that we’ve been working on it for a long time. It’s a feat of engineering genius."
What can they possibly have planned?

Kanye West recently toured his Glow In The Dark tour which was visually spectacular with effects, smoke, lighting and digital screens.

On Michael Jackson’s HIStory World Tour he appeared on stage via a spaceship (see picture below) to kick off the concert, which included a full-sized army tanker mid-show.

Jackson’s Dangerous Tour ended in even more spectacular fashion with the King of Pop exiting the stage at the end of the show by strapping a jet pack to his back before flying over the audience and out of the stadium!

Somehow, I think U2 are goin to fall short. None the less, the U2 tour will be one worth seeing!

'Hello Tito', Jackson Brother to Visit Opening of THRILLER-LIVE!

w559.jpg

Tito Jackson, the eldest of the Jackson brothers has jetted into London this week for the official opening of THRILLER LIVE the new West End show that celebrates the music and career of his brother Michael and the Jackson 5.

Tito will be the special guest of honour, representing the Jackson family, at the opening night at the Lyric Theatre on 21st January.

THRILLER LIVE is a spectacular, high-octane show that is moonwalking into the West End after three acclaimed UK tours and standing ovations across Germany, Holland and Scandanavia.

Tito said: "I am delighted to attend the opening of the show and excited to see it after watching it grow out of the UK and European tours in 2007. Our music is very much alive and still relevant to the youth of today and it remains part of the fabric of modern day life. This show, with its talented cast, acknowledges and celebrates our music and the sort of entertainment that the Jackson family have created over the last 40 years. It is particularly fitting that the show is opening in the West End as Motown celebrates their 50th anniversary - Motown is where we all started and without Motown there may never have been a Jackson 5!"

In a phenomenal, unparallelled career, Michael Jackson has to date sold more than 750 million records, had 13 number one singles - more than any other male artist - and is one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice; once as a member of The Jackson 5 in 1997 and later as a solo artist in 2001. His numerous other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records, including one for "Thriller" as the world's best-selling album of all time - 100 million copies and counting. In Thriller - Live, the non-stop hits just keep on coming from "I Want You Back", "I'll Be There", "Show You The Way To Go", "Can You Feel It", "Rock With You", "She's Out Of My Life", "Thriller", "Beat It", "Ben", "ABC", "Man in the Mirror", "Dirty Diana", "Billie Jean", "Earth Song", and many, many more.

To bring to life on stage the distinctive dancing and sound of many of pop's greatest hits, Thriller - Live includes eye-popping video footage and effects together with dazzling choreography by the show's award-winning director Gary Lloyd (who has previously worked with Leona Lewis, Will Young, Gareth Gates, Emma Bunton, Robbie Williams, Pink, Anastacia, Lemar; Rachel Stevens, Kelly Clarkson and Girls Aloud) and additional choreography by five-time MTV award-winning LaVelle Smith Jnr and and Kerys Nathan.

Thriller - Live was originally conceived and created by Executive Director of the show, AdrIan Grant, a long time associate of Michael Jackson, and author of 'Michael Jackson - The Visual Documentary'.

Thriller - Live is produced by Paul Walden and Derek Nicol for Flying Music in association with AdrIan Grant for Key Concerts

Former 5 Star lead vocalist, songwriter and Brit Award-winner Denise Pearson will make her West End debut in Thriller - Live, the spectacular, high-octane show specially created to celebrate the career of the world's greatest entertainer and undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

She is joined by award-winning Ricko Baird, who co-choreographed Michael Jackson's Number 1 hit, "You Rock My World", and doubled for him in the video. He was also lead dancer alongside Michael himself on the award-winning "Dangerous" on the "Michael Jackson and Friends" tour.

In 1987 the group won a Brit Award for Best British Group. They disbanded in 2006. After moving to California with her family in the early 1990s, Denise married a racing driver. In 1994 she gave birth to a son, Karan Saneinia, followed by a daughter, Hassa Alexis Saneinia a year later.

The video featured Mýa acting as a one-woman circus, performing various circus tricks throughout the song, was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards. He choreographed Jennifer Lopez's most recent tour.
