dig that song, one of my favourites of his Motown years but... i never understood the attraction of Soul Train performances when the majority of them were all .. fake-sung. forget lip-synching, lol.

Minnie Riperton's last performance on that show was sung completely live, and it turned out one of the greatest vocal performances captured live.

Yeah, one of my favorite songs is "Push Me Away", but I don't really care much for the performance (I think it was on a Bandstand special, but I'm not sure) because it was lip-synced.

Smooth, soft, dreamy, sweet...Plus, he's rocking that outfit! I love all of his Soultrain performances:yes: Always dig the setting where people dancing around the stage.
