MJ's brothers to attend Jamaica's Reggae Sumfest
(AP) – 20 hours ago
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Three of Michael Jackson's brothers expect to attend next month's Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica which is dedicated this year to the deceased king of pop.
Summerfest Productions says Marlon, Tito and Randy Jackson confirmed they will be at the weeklong music festival's International Night. It will feature Toni Braxton and reggae singer Damian Marley.
Spokesman Johnny Gourzong said Thursday that a Jackson family representative contacted the promoter after the company sent a letter of condolence following Michael Jackson's death last month.
Sumfest will run July 19-25 in Montego Bay.
The brothers performed in Jamaica with Michael as the Jackson 5 at Kingston's National Stadium in 1975.

This is just the start of many awards that will be given out!

Unfortunately I can't go to JA now. Lol. Hope they keep safe. It would be nice for the kids to enjoy a nice, covert vacation in Jamaica.

Jamgirl86 - as a fellow Caribbean person I so fussy for you!!!!!

:) Actually in NY now, but heading down to JA on Monday :)

If there is any place for the family to enjoy a quiet, safe Vacation AWAY from ANY paps...It's JA!

Exactly! I'm a fellow yaadie (aka Jamaican) and we LOVE Michael and the Jackson's down there. They will be treated like the royalty they are and not hounded by press or fans.

I only wish Michael could have gone back after the last performance in 1975.

Did you guys see the pic of him in the tree with Bob Marley?...lol

I'm living in Jamaica and saw this on the news last night.

But honestly, all these years being a fan there was only one Jackson that I ever wanted to come to JA, but thats never gonna happen now. It will be interesting to see if Katherine actually does come with the children.
