How happy I was to hear that Tito picked up MJ's award but how sad and very very angry I was at the same time that Michael wasn't given this award when he was alive. Michael did, as we all know, loved to "collect" the awards and be recognised for he was, a true legend.

I took a look at Michael's achievements which listed these:

I went on to wonder why he didn't get a Knighthood. People have got one for less. This is no slant on Elton John (who I am also a big fan of) but Elton didn't achieve half the awards MJ did... and neither did he start his music business when he's age was in single figures.

I feel rather cheated, on behalf of Michael, because of all this.

Elton John got his Knighthood for services to music and charitable services in 1998. His charitable services were mainly to Aids charities. Michael donated money to loads of charities to children and third world countries. How come Michael wasn't recognised but Elton John was?
 
dont forget the "save the world award" jermaine received for Michael in austria.

ONLY british citizens can gat a knighthood.

thats why MJ never got one.

if he was british he would of got one i think.

Elton john has done less than MJ but Eltons britsh soo he can get a knighthood.

thats just how it goes. :)

yeh thats right Spielberg got an honoury knighthood.

but Spielberg cant call himself Sir Steven Spielberg.

like Elton john calls himself Sir Elton john because hes british but Spielberg cant call himself that because hes not :S

lol

its weird the knighthood bussiness!
