MICHAEL JACKSON MEDICAL REPORT MISSING

Michael Jackson's medical examination showed he had the ''body of an astronaut'', claim insurers Robertson Taylor, who were insisting on carrying out their own tests before agreeing to cover the singer's 50-date 'This Is It' residency at London's O2 arena.

Michael Jackson's medical examination record has gone missing.
Insurers for the late pop icon's 'This Is It' 50-date London residency were astounded when the report they received from Dr. David Slavit declared the singer to be in perfect health, joking it appeared to have been "based on the body of an astronaut".
Officials at insurers Robertson Taylor were puzzled as to why the ear, nose and throat specialist's report made no mention of the 'Thriller' star's well-publicised health difficulties - including a severely burnt scalp, broken leg and extensive cosmetic surgery - and demanded their own tests be carried out before agreeing to insure his shows for promoters AEG Live.
An AEG spokesperson said: "AEG did not hire a doctor at any time in connection with securing insurance. Dr. David Slavit performed the medical exam which was submitted to the insurers as part of their underwriting.
"AEG has never received a copy of Dr. Slavit's medical exam. A second medical examination was scheduled in the UK when the tour arrived. The policy was issued in a fictitious name."
No-one has actually seen Dr. Slavit's original records of the medical and Robertson Jackson had wanted to do a full examination on July 11, the day after seeing the 'Bad' hitmaker perform a planned full rehearsal at London's O2 arena, where the shows were scheduled to take place.
However, because the star died of a suspected cardiac arrest on June 25 - after the insurance deal had been agreed but before "subject to" details had been verified - the promoters are now in dispute with the insurers over the validity of their agreement. The singer's medical certificate had been issued in the name M. Jones but this is said to be standard practice for celebrities to prevent any embarrassing personal health details leaking out.
It was revealed last week the singer's autopsy results have been delayed indefinitely.
It has been claimed the release has been postponed while police investigate Jackson's death.
A law enforcement source has claimed the delay is not the result of problems with the toxicology report or questions over how the case is being handled.
Court records show police are currently investigating whether Jackson's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray - who was with the 50-year-old singer when he died of a suspected cardiac arrest last month and gave him CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) - had contact with other people in the medical field, including Dr. Slavit.

There is also this article in the tabloid The Mirror, this paragraph is particularly interesting 'if' there is any truth to it:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/08/05/*****-o2-ok-medic-115875-21572108/

But because Jackson died on June 25 - after the insurance deal had been signed, but before the "subject to" details were ratified - a dispute has broken out. Legal papers also showed the singer only ever wanted to perform at 10 London gigs. Sources close to the final deal suggest he was "bullied" into agreeing to 50 shows.

contactmusic tends to have questionable sources because they collect news from everywhere. but thanks for posting. definitely an interesting read.

yeah I know, not too sure on the sources but I wonder if there is some truth to what they are saying...
There may be some truth, but their interpretation seems a bit questionable.

They say 'No-one has actually seen Dr. Slavit's original records of the medical' but that doesn't mean it's missing. The original records wouldn't normally be shared (doctor-patient confidentiality), just a report based on the records written for a specific purpose (i.e. determining fitness for the concerts - anything in the records unrelated to that would be left out of the report).

The source for all this seems to be The Mirror, so I think we'll have to wait to see if we hear anything more concrete from a more reliable source. Still, interesting.

Note how all the strange and criminal elements of MJ's probble murder are unreported by the "main stream" corporate media; who continue with "drug abuse" and now the molestation allegations over and over again. This should be(if true) BIG NEWS! Yet they keep in the tabs.

The Media is completely involved in the knowledge and cover up of this crime.

Could be true as now the Mirror web link now longer works...

I have been surprised that this has little coverage compared to what I thought it would. They gave more coverage to his trial. I'm not ruling out what you suspect as I do see that so many are ready to class it as drug abuse only when that could be part of what happened but the other things that don't add up in the case leads me to think IMO that a 'drug abuse' outcome in the autopsy findings would be an ideal cover up for a murder as most of the general public would not question that as it was reported years ago about his prescription meds rehab.

Also perhaps the likes of the BBC are not covering some of the stories come out due to the lack of solid evidence to them. It is all so messy right now to make up your mind on any of it. My gut feeling says its murder and a murder they will cover up, but that is just my opinion and only based on his financial worth and the mistakes Murray made combined with the conflicting accounts we keep hearing from the inner circle.

Thanks for posting this. As far as the source being "credible" is concerned, not even CNN is credible anymore, so we must sift through "reports" and look for the truth as best we can.

I was at Virginia Tech University at the time of the shootings in which 32 people were killed. (Thirty-three, including the shooter, "Cho.") It was a horrific crime, and deserved a thorough investigation. In the investigation that followed the carnage here, "Cho's" medical records (psychiatric) "went missing" for TWO YEARS. Accidental? I don't think so. Can I prove that it was not an accidental loss? No, I can't. But a lot of money was at stake in terms of the families' lawsuits; my trust in corporations is nearly zero, from this experience, and others.

There are two versions of Michael. One is that he was not fit enough, not well-enough, to perform fifty concerts. Among those reporting this "version" of Michael are fans who SAW him and spoke with him, Karen Faye, Leonard Rowe, others, and his FAMILY. The other version, that he "had the body of an astronaut," seems to come from AEG and AEG-related people, i.e. those on the payroll. The key documentation is two-fold. The autopsy report, which mysteriously has been "indefinitely delayed," and the results of the insurance exam. The insurance exam has gone missing? Or, is just not available? Reporting on this would not have to include details, but just. . was Michael or was he not in great shape?

Last summer Michael was photographed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. It was OBVIOUS that he was dangerously thin, then. He was also photogrphed in a wheelchair. It is now common knowledge that Michael had lupus, which is an autoimmune disease that can have flare-ups due to stress. It can affect not only the skin, but internal organs. It is also commonly known that at times Michael had problems with over-use of prescription medications. It is commonly known that he suffered from back-pain. SO, which version of Michael is the truth? Fit and healthy and ready to perform? Or, sick and thin, and would not have completed the concerts -- at which time the "non-completion" insurance would have kicked in? His family deserves to know the truth, and so do the fans who love him.

He definitely was fit like an astronaut here at the end of October 2008 and over the next several months. He was so happy and had a great energy.....

June 2009 something changed. His weight is clearly down and yeah he's smiling and seems happy but there is something in his eyes that is different and it's bothered me from the first time I saw this picture that AEG released, he's not the same here. His eyes seem to have a dark energy instead of a vibrant twinkling light imo......

This article is BOGUS

Yeah probably is, can't believe anything or anybody right now. I do believe he may have been conned into doing 50 show and was ok about doing 10. As Victoria83 said, it seems friends and family are saying he wasn't up to it and AEG and others with a financial interest are saying he was...

Michael Jackson insurers thought glowing medical examination for tour must have been on "the body of a Nasa astronaut"

By Stephen Moyes and Annette Witheridge 5/08/2009
EXCLUSIVE

This is the doctor who declared Michael Jackson fit for his gruelling London gigs, just weeks before the singer's fatal heart attack.

Dr David Slavit's examination results were handed to the insurers of Jackson's planned 50 O2 concerts.

But officials were surprised Jackson passed the medical, despite a history of health problems.

It left finance chiefs joking that the examination must have been based on, "the body of a Nasa astronaut" rather than the 50-year-old star.

They wondered why the paper made no mention of the King of Pop's widely-known medical troubles, including a singed scalp, plastic surgery or broken leg.

And Dr Slavit's report is now at the centre of a multi-million pound row between concert promoters AEG and insurers Robertson Taylor.

After receiving the results, the Londonbased brokers arranged for their own tests to be carried out before sealing a deal with AEG.

The firm dispatched a medic to LA to conduct the tests, but Jackson said he was unable to see him.

Bosses did sign a deal insuring an initial number of the London gigs but only subject to their own rigorous tests being carried out in the UK.

They insisted on being at Jackson's scheduled stage rehearsal on July 10 at the O2 - and wanted to do a full examination next day.

A spokesman for AEG said: "AEG did not hire any doctor at any time in connection with securing insurance.

"Dr David Slavit performed the medical exam which was submitted to the insurers as part of their underwriting.

"Aeg has never received a copy of Dr Slavit's medical exam.

"A second medical examination was scheduled in the UK when the tour arrived. The policy was issued in a fictitious name."

New York plastic surgeon Dr Slavit made out Jackson's medical certificate in the name "M Jones". It is standard practice for celebrities to use a pseudonym to prevent embarrassing personal health details leaking out.

The ear, nose and throat specialist has been subject to a search warrant by the Los Angeles coroner who is investigating Jackson's death.

Dr Slavit, who lives in New Jersey with his wife Robin, 49, and three young children, refused to comment yesterday on his decision to give the star a clean bill of health. His receptionist said: "I have passed on your messages but he will not be speaking."

Playing doting dad to his three kids, this is Michael Jackson at his happiest.

During a lifetime in the public eye, it was these private moments spent with his family the singer treasured the most.

The previously unseen pictures show Jackson holding a fourth birthday party in April 2002 for Prince, now 12. Daughter Paris and son Blanket join in the fun at Neverland, surrounded by toys, cake and a host of Spiderman goodies.

oh dear. karen faye said in her facebook that doctors can be bought re the medical. these articles are kinda confusing though AEG claim they never saw a copy.that sounds kinda fake. sounds as if they are covering their @ss again

ounds like they are trying to cover themselves again. blame mj say he hired the doctor and faked the whole medical and AEG were willing to put all this money into it and didnt see the medical report? get away.

hings are fitting together if they find a connection.at least the police seem to be on the same line as fans theories

is this true or just tabloid B.S.where the court papers

When Frank Dileo stated that 3 lawyers read the contract to Michael, that told me that there most certainly was bullying and intimidation going on re the number of shows. 3 lawyers to say the same thing??? Yeah, they wanted to make a point...there was no getting out of that agreement.

If this is true, what does it mean for AEG in terms of receiving a pay out? Its obviously being disputed. Im just hoping that one day soon I'll be visiting this board to the news that AEG get zero payout!

Every time an article about something that serious uses phrases like "Thriller star" and "Bad Hitmaker" I always question it.

I could believe that Michael wanted to out-do Princes record, but I believe he performed 30 shows so why was a further 20 necessary? Someone (Tohme??), along with AEG got carried away with the potential dollar to be made and upped the shows, using the same excuse we've heard that the dates were spread out so Michael would handle it. They obviously never thought of the psychological pressure, let alone physical pressure that this could bring.

So, if the insurers demanded to do another medical before agreeing to insure, and the "subject to" parts, ie the policy was not yet finalized, would that mean AEG has no valid insurance for the shows (if this news is true)???

(and btw hello to everybody)

So Lloyd's wasn't the insurer?

How do you insure and then make it subject to further testings? Were all 50 insured to date or just the first 10?

Is Dr. Slavit an ENT specialist or plastic surgeon?

This doesn't suprise me at all. These crooks are covering their butts. First, we find out for those who are following the money, that millions are now missing from the estate. Why do I say that? What have we heard for a gazillion years? The media for years have been telling us MJ's estate is worth 400milllion, now the executors are saying its worth is only 100million. Sounds like someone's been moving Michael's money already and hiding it from the heirs. There is no way, his combined assets are that few in value.

Now there's a report of a so called missing medical report and none of the main stream media are reporting it.

More crap that points to a cover up!

Dr. Slavit is a ENT - Ears, Nose and Throat specialist which to me is an odd choice for a Dr to do a physical.

So he's not a surgeon? because the article has him as a plastic surgeon and ENT specialist. Just one of the many reasons I don't believe a word of it.

Which is why the mainstream media hasn't picked up on it yet. The title says MJ's medical report is missing but it is not supported by the body of the article. It doesn't make much sense. Nevertheless, we have seen the type of trash 'respectable' media have been willing to publish as it regards MJ so.....

thats the media saying that not the executors they keep uping his debt and lowering what hes worth the debt figure has gone up at least 150mill in the space of a month.londell who was mjs lawyer for the last few years says the estate is worth nearer 2 billion

o, if the insurers demanded to do another medical before agreeing to insure, and the "subject to" parts, ie the policy was not yet finalized, would that mean AEG has no valid insurance for the shows (if this news is true)???
well u can bet there will be a lawsuit over it.

the doctor was named in other article from the past few days aswell. i guess they mean missing interms of no one has seen it.they just went on someones words and gave a certain level of insurance

i remember someone from the TII saying Michael felt some pain in his leg , is it true?

Michael looks ill, like he did in 2001-02 when he was having problems with Sony which does raise some questions.

A couple of weeks before this photo, I thought Michael looked very well, despite being thinner that I thought he should be.

I still think Michael would have wanted to do more than 10 concerts at the O2, maybe not 50. But he would have wanted to beat Prince's record.

didnt prince do 21 shows tho? or something similar

judging by what fans have said (and lucy lester) MJ wanted to do 10 shows

i remember randy Phillips talking (before all this) about MJ wanting it to be recorded in the guniess book of records for 50, but in the interview randy made it sound like he wanted this.. AFTER he was told he'd been locked in to do a massive 50 shows...

look at the clip (ill try and find this one too) where randy is talking about the 50 shows... he says michael said on the phone "randy how many shows am i gonna have to do"... it sounded SO DODGY EVEN BEFORE 25th JUNE ....I WAS THINKIN WTF?!!?
