a poem i wrote for michael. i hope you like it..

Michael, Michael, you break more records now,
This It It now makes thy enemies bow,
as they see the love that our king doth reap,
and when you hit the stage you'll show them how..
Michael, Michael, 'tis for thee that i weep,
as i hear now of thy eternal sleep,
sent by a vile man to dark parts unknown,
and without thy presence my heart shall bleed..
Michael, Michael, from my spirit has flown,
something from us that now leaves us alone,
tho' love still lingers life leads us to hell,
as without thee griefs grip and sorrows grown..
and still our despair does lead us to cry
at the same time tonight thy love's alive.

UPDATE: November 3rd, 2009

I've written another. Here you go guys.. I hope you like it.

Thy gentle soul, it slipped away too soon
Silence provided for secrets and gloom
No matter the cause, our tears they did run
across cheeks and streets 'neath shadowy moon
A crime of the knife, or perhaps the gun?
Or nature itself that had thee undone?
'Twas naught but the ice cold grip of one's greed,
So a cold steel spine sapped thy life to none..
Sinister forces, soulless schemes the creed,
The system we live in, the crime it breeds,
Yet no matter their words, and lies they sell
Thy spirit's alive, and to love it leads
Hateful things they say and the games they play,
Through't all thy ideas still live today.
