Michael Jackson Day at the Fair

It's been a year since the tragic death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
We are paying tribute to his memory with:
• A Michael Jackson impersonator and dancers at Opening Ceremonies, who will teach the crowd how to moonwalk into the Fair. They also will be available for photos!
• a retrospective exhibit of his life in the Paddock Sports Pub
• two "flash mob" performances of the Thriller dance at 11:30AM and 7:45PM on the Avenue. Nearly 200 performers in costume and makeup will perform the Thriller dance.
• “Moonwalk with the Best," where kids will learn how to moonwalk. Part of Three O'Clock Fun, at 3:00PM in the Sparkletts Water Infield Contest Area.
• “This is It”: The Michael Jackson movie about the making of the “This is It” shows will play on the video screen in the Paddock from 7:00 to 8:30PM
• the return of the top Michael Jackson tribute band in the nation, Who's Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band. This band gave a memorable performance on the closing day of last year's Fair.
