I remember that!!!! :wild: Sooooooooooooo cute!

MJ Had to have written the lyrics and been involved, "Just make your home and family a loving place to be", ...awesome. :). And they had access to the instrumental, which didn't get leaked 'till around when guitar hero came out. Plus, in the Dangerous tour rehearsals for Beat It, he says "Say NO!" instead of "Beat It" at 1:06, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE9DnCPPrTk

I looove this! When was this originally aired? Because if it was aired back in the 80's then surely Michael would have seen it, at least I hope so - he would have absolutely loooved it!

Michael had a "BEAT IT" campaign against drugs back in the 80's. There were commercials for it I remember. Reagan at the time honored him for his contributions. :D

I hate to say it, but they completely butchered the lyrics...I understand that's it's about not doing drugs, but...lol.

Maybe it is just me projecting but I am surprised at how they flat out said 'drugs' on a kids TV show. You would not see that today.

Yeah, I saw that Cartoon back in the day. I'm a huge Flintstones fan.I do remember the credits saying LaToya was doing Mike's voice.. Was it a Pebble's and BamBam Show or The Flintstone's kids ?,I forget.but It's shows that Even Hanna Barbera Loved Michael. Great Tribute to remember a Man That Rocked all our world.. The Penguins of Madagasca,Fanboy and ChumChum and mostly some Dreamworks, Disney and Nicklelodean Cartoons will continue to pay tribute to Michael. He will never be forgotten. Re: The Flintstone Kids' Just Say No Special (1988)

I do remember the credits saying LaToya was doing Mike's voice..

Must have been a joke. It's clearly a male singing. lol

edit...
I just saw there's another "Just Say No" song playing in the middle (10:46), which is by LaToya indeed.
The Michael performance (at 21:20) with re-written "Beat It" includes "Just Say No" lyrics as well.

That Michael "Beat It" voice in the Flintstones somehow sounded familiar to me... so did a little research.

It's Kipp Lennon, and we all know him...
He also was the Michael singing voice in The Simpsons "Stark Raving Dad" Episode, he sang in the California Raisins MJ commercial ("Heard It Through The Grapevine") and also sang in parts of "The Jacksons: An American Dream".

From a book called "Prehistoric Humans in Film and Television: 581 Dramas, Comedies and Documentaries, 1905-2004".

From Wikipedia:

Lennon has contributed to several episodes of The Simpsons: in season 3's "Stark Raving Dad", although Michael Jackson (credited as "John Jay Smith") performed the speaking part of Leon Kompowsky, a character who pretended he was Michael Jackson, Lennon sang the songs due to contractual obligations from Jackson with his record company at the time.[4] Most notably he sang the song "Happy Birthday Lisa," written by Jackson within the episode. He also provides Jackson's singing voice in The Jacksons: An American Dream.

And here's an episode of the "Moonwalk Talks" podcast with a Kipp Lennon interview on Michael:
