You can't stop haters. that's life. but we can ignore them.

This is very true, and ignore them I will, we all know the truth and how sad is that the people that are so desperate to believe that Michael is guilty have to keep lying to themselves, it's pathetic tbh

Wade Robson, who detailed sexual abuse accusations against Michael Jackson in the HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland,” said on Monday that it is “unfortunate” that MTV will keep the pop icon’s name on its Video Vanguard Award at this year’s VMAs.

The network announced that Missy Elliott will be the latest recipient of the award, which was named for Jackson in 1991, before the first molestation accusations against him surfaced in 1993. Robson and another man, James Safechuck, reignited the discussion around Jackson when they spoke at length for the documentary.

“I don’t personally need MTV to do one thing or the other, but as child abuse survivors all over the world watch to see whether society will support them or not if they have the courage to come forward, in that regard, it’s an unfortunate choice,” Robson told TheWrap.

MTV did not immediately respond to requests for comment about its decision to keep Jackson’s name on the award, which it described in a news release Monday as the “VMAs’ highest honor.”

The network began handing out the Video Vanguard Award in 1984, when the VMAs were still known as the Video Music Awards. Past recipients have included Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Guns N’ Roses, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Rihanna, and P!nk.

Jackson was acquitted of child molestation in a 2005 trial involving another minor. The singer also settled another child molestation accusation in 1993. Jackson, who died in 2009, always denied any inappropriate behavior, and his family has denounced the HBO documentary.

But in “Leaving Neverland,” Robson and Safechuck described in detail how Jackson repeatedly molested them and influenced and tricked their families into trusting him. Robson testified during Jackson’s 2005 trial that Jackson never abused him, but explained in the documentary that he did so in part because he believed Jackson’s life was in danger.
Robson is a well-known choreographer who traveled the world with Jackson as a child. He has worked with Spears and NSYNC, among others.

Well would you? she is now in almost in her 90s and her son been gone for 10 years. not only that but all this stuff that's been going on for the past 6 months now.

i am wondering in what way wade gives his statements. Who reaches out to him every time and in what way is he answering?

I can imagine that the media just creates a story with some fake statement...

but i also can imagine that there is a corrupt connection behind the scenes between wade and some news editors.

or maybe even oprah helps wade to spread some "statements". but indeed interesting how it works in reality.

I agree. And the nob for awards really convince me someone is behind this yet no nobs for Harvey Weinstein, and almost none if not one for Rkelly which was the biggest.

Yes I know and her health isn't that good either, I hope all this crap is sorted before Katherine goes to meet Michael at least that way she will be at peace, must have broke her heart all of this

What Does ‘Lies of Leaving Neverland’ Mean? Why Is it Trending on Twitter?

The hashtag #LiesofLeavingNeverland was trending Saturday, in response to a self-proclaimed documentary called “Lies of Leaving Neverland” which was published on August 13 and argues for Michael Jackson’s full innocence, in the wake of HBO’s “Leaving Neverland,” which came out earlier this year.

The thirty-minute long video (which can be seen in full below and is available on YouTube) argues for Jackson’s full innocence in the wake of the allegations made against the late singer by Wade Robson and James Safechuck in Leaving Neverland. Both men allege that Jackson sexually abused them over several years, starting when they were children. Jackson vehemently denied all of the allegations of sexual assault against him throughout his life.

Neither Robson nor Safechuck have responded to the allegations made against them in this video, nor to the allegations made against them by Twitter users across the globe.

Here’s what you need to know:

The latest documentary Lies of Leaving Neverland includes what appears to be a 2016 deposition by Robson. The video was uploaded by an account that was created on the same day of the upload (August 13) and is under the name “Mark Hostetler.” The caption for the video redirects to a site under the same name, titled “Leaving Neverland Lies.”

Many defenders of the documentary argue there to be inconsistencies between Robson’s deposition in 2016 and the story he gave to HBO; it’s worth noting that the HBO documentary directly acknowledges, for both Robson and Safechuck, their inconsistent testimonies in the past. What’s more, both men explain their reasons for lying about their alleged abuse for many years, with each of them acknowledging how many competing psychological factors contributed to their inability to tell their truth until much later.

In their follow-up interview with Oprah, titled After Neverland, the two went into that issue further in depth, with the TV mogul noting that it’s common for survivors of sexual assault to change their story repeatedly before coming out with the truth.

Still, many users believe the new “documentary” to be damning. One fan wrote, “#LiesOfLeavingNeverland Wade said that he was ‘abused’ in New York in 1989 after he preformed st the grammys but the Grammys were in Los Angeles and Michael didn’t perform at the grammy in 1989″

Surgeon Eugene Gu tweeted, “The media needs to stick to facts, evidence, and the truth or it becomes a monster. Destroying people’s lives with lies is completely disgusting and exploits the pain of real victims to get more clicks and views. Horrifying. #LiesOfLeavingNeverland”

Still others argued that the hashtag itself, as well as the documentary that inspired it, are both abhorrent.

Mike Wise, a sports commentator and journalist, tweeted, “Fact #LiesOfLeavingNeverland is trending shows you what a digital wasteland Twitter truly is. Whether you believe Michael Jackson was a pedophile or not, the possibility that you joined a warped support group of people who shame adult survivors of child sexual abuse is just sick.”
(Note: Taj was addressed on twitter -by @- by this writer, and Taj responded strongly, asking him to 'educate himself'.)

Leaving Neverland inspired a controversy as soon as it was released. Michael Jackson’s family and estate vehemently opposed the documentary, and filed a $100 million lawsuit against HBO following the documentary’s release.

(The rest of the article just rehashes what we already know regarding the Estate vs HBO lawsuit).

From Twitter:

Lies Of Leaving Neverland is about to hit Australian MSM in a few hours.

Glad to let u guys know that tomorrow, monday in Melb, Studio 10 is going to have a story on Lies of Neverland

I wondering what Oprah would say if she was asked if she still believes the lies, would she ignore the question or would she say should does, apart from Robson and egg head everyone seems to be keeping their opinions to themselves I think

i am wondering in what way wade gives his statements.

Like I said before, it's like he's on the media's speed dial. You never saw this with the past accusers. Granted, that's probably because Michael was still alive and therefore actual criminal charges could have happened that would require the accusers to be protected, but still... The media is fawning over Robson like a god and it's sickening.

She does not need to say nothing. She just exposed herself. Look how she treated comic Monique and Oprah know she was wrong.

Yes I know it makes my stomach turn to see Robsons face he's a absolute disgrace, one of the worst things about him is he doesn't give a s**t, he knows that it's been proven to be all lies and still he keeps going, tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he just comes out and says, yeah I made it up, worth a try I suppose, he's that arrogant

Or Amanda finally leaves him and he then tries to sue his therapist for creating of false memories or something or acually finally turns on his mother.

I bet any of those might’ve happen since his lies have been exposed. If that happens then good for her.

I sometimes read his blog, and the most recent one, 'ownership' is interesting as regards his state of mind and 'mental practice'.
He says:
What I expect, I experience.

What I look for, I find.

What I pay attention to, grows.

Thereupon, if I still feel it is necessary, I am able to take action accordingly towards shifting my circumstances, yet now I am able to act from a place of inner sufficiency, fulfillment, confidence, gratitude and surrender. Before long, what transpires is frictionless effort, flow, abundance, reciprocity and progressive change.

As always, it’s an inside job first: evolutionary, progressive change happens not from the outside in, but from the inside out.'

He seems to have adopted a kind of 'self-brainwashing' process. His 'evolutionary change' (of memories, and even of his 'reality') is all in his mind.
I'll be interested to see how he copes mentally when his appeal is finally thrown out. There comes a time when self-delusion has to meet facts.

Do we know the date for final decision of their appeals? Can they appeal once more after that or is then over?

Mr. Wise, if a person is a LIAR about abuse, he/she should be called out. Shaming people or someone who is FALSELY ACCUSED is bad.

Or Amanda finally leaves him and he then tries to sue his therapist for creating of false memories or something or acually finally turns on his mother.

But Amanda must already know its all lies, unless she lives in a box, I wouldn't be surprised if he says his therapist has touched him, nothing would surprise me now where Robson is concerned. I'd love to spend an hour with him and actually ask him if he thinks everyone still believes him, he obviously thinks they do. Reed is different he's just saying stuff because he knows the game is up and he doesn't want to admit what he's done, if I was Reed I'd be keeping well away from them two and move to a different planet, but where is safechuck, that's what I want to know
