Donald Trump Defended Michael Jackson

The only thing I will give Trump is that he was defending him when it was and still is easy to kick him. He is not afraid of it either.

Doesn’t change the fact of him being a POS though

Never heard that before. I think it was George Lopez.

That would make more sense, since George Lopez testified in the trial. As far as I'm aware, Trump wasn't involved in that at all. (If I'm completely forgetting about something, please correct me on that.)

No I think thats correct. Trump had no involvement in the trial. As said above I can applaud Trump for defending MJ back in the day, however that doesnt change my opinion of him today.
If only MJ had listened to George.

Ah man, things would have been crazy different then. Living with MJ probably also never would have been made like that. But MJ saw a terminally Ill kid and decided he wanted to help him. That was Mike, just way too good for this world that sadly has very rotten people in it.

Absolutely. Sometimes I think about what mjs life would have been like if the allegations never happened. It simply isnt fair. At least the fans know the truth.

It's baffling to me that any MJ fan would want to trumpet Donald Trump's "support" of MJ. Michael was all about being inclusive and bringing people together. Trump is all about dividing people and judging them based on their skin color and where they come from. Trump literally asked why the USA has to take immigrants from shithole countries. Do you really think MJ would agree with a statement like that?

Trump is not about judging people based on skin colour. That's the media lies, and Michael fans should know better than to just buy them.

Also, we really shouldn't assume we know what Michael would think about him. For that matter, it's absurd to think you can only be friends with people you are in total political agreemet with!

BTW whoever posted that video of Michael with Paul McCartney in his farm, that was great, I hadn't seen it. Paul also defended Michael btw back in the 90's despite the fact they had had their falling out.

Indeed. Its shocking how the same MJ fans who moan rightfully about the public assuming everything about MJ to be true because they read stuff in the press then fall for the same trick with Trump. Regardless what you think about Trump, there is alot of fake news about him and definitely an agenda on the medias behalf to take him down! But obviously many MJ fans think thats OK because it happens to someone else than Michael, we should be better than that!

Sidenote: I should add that I am not a fan of Trump or his politics, and I am not a republican.

I'm not a fan of donald trump either but i'm glad he has been defending Michael. i give him that.

I want Donald Trump to invite Jordan Chandler to the White House and have him clear Michael Jackson's name. An American ICON! Hold a press conference, and have Jordan Chandler speak. The White House would inform ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, FOX and CNN to take all their stations to BREAKING COVERAGE simultaneously, but the media would not know for what reason. It would be a surprise, that way the powers that be (the anti-Jackson people) can't stop it from happening. What do you think of that? Everyone please start tweeting to Donald Trump about Jordan Chandler.

Don't mix up MJ fans having to deal with actual fake news and the brainwashed Trump cult followers who will cry "'fake news!" whenever their intellect fails to process uncomfy hard facts that contradict their indoctrinated believes.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Trump has a long history of well documented racist controversies.

Some highlights...

1973: The US Department of Justice — under the Nixon administration, out of all administrations — sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act. Federal officials found evidence that Trump had refused to rent to black tenants and lied to black applicants about whether apartments were available, among other accusations. Trump said the federal government was trying to get him to rent to welfare recipients. In the aftermath, he signed an agreement in 1975 agreeing not to discriminate to renters of color without admitting to discriminating before.

1988: In a commencement speech at Lehigh University, Trump spent much of his speech accusing countries like Japan of “stripping the United States of economic dignity.” This matches much of his current rhetoric on China.

1989: In a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four black teenagers and one Latino teenager — the “Central Park Five” — were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary.

1991: A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump at first denied the remarks, but later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

1992: The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices.

1993: In congressional testimony, Trump said that some Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”

2000: In opposition to a casino proposed by the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, which he saw as a financial threat to his casinos in Atlantic City, Trump secretly ran a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.”

2010: In 2010, there was a huge national controversy over the “Ground Zero Mosque” — a proposal to build a Muslim community center in Lower Manhattan, near the site of the 9/11 attacks. Trump opposed the project, calling it “insensitive,” and offered to buy out one of the investors in the project. On The Late Show With David Letterman, Trump argued, referring to Muslims, “Well, somebody’s blowing us up. Somebody’s blowing up buildings, and somebody’s doing lots of bad stuff.”

2011: Trump played a big role in pushing false rumors that Obama — the country’s first black president — was not born in the US. He even sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama’s birth certificate. Obama later released his birth certificate, calling Trump a ”carnival barker.” (The research has found a strong correlation between “birtherism,” as this conspiracy theory is called, and racism.) Trump has reportedly continued pushing this conspiracy theory in private.

2011: While Trump suggested that Obama wasn’t born in the US, he also argued that maybe Obama wasn’t a good enough student to have gotten into Columbia or Harvard Law School, and demanded Obama release his university transcripts. Trump claimed, “I heard he was a terrible student. Terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?”

I can’t wait for the day when I can read my Twitter feed again without having to see that jerk all the time.

I understand the Trump controversies and I also understand he makes questionable decisions and says questionable things but to be positive about MJ in front of the camera's is something that I hugely admire him for. Don't forget Trump is the kind of person who could easily destroy MJ in front of the media, he has done this often but not with Michael. Many might not like it but it appears they really had a good relationship back in the day.

None of this is any excuse for the things he’s doing to the world today.

To be fair he is not the only world leader these days that is making the world a worse place.

Yeah, and when Hitler made the world a worse place, there was also Mussolini. And does that make him look any better?

People have their own opinions. while i'm not a fan of trump do not treat others rudely. and screenorigami you cool and all but i noticed something about you every since you join this site. i don't know what it is but stop it.

All I'm trying to say is you can't blame one person for all the problems in the world today. I personally am much much more worried about Chinese Xi Jinping (Muslim concentration camps, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South China Sea, Indian border expansions) or Russia's Putin (expansion with adding the Krim which is a direct passage for the Russian fleet into Europe), India's premier Modi (who is a clear Muslim hater with his anti Muslim law , shades of Hitler). These are genuine dangerous guys I don't dare to think what they've got up their sleeves...
Then we got the brewing furnace of the Middle East where something can go wrong at any moment between Saudi Arabia, Iran Israel to name just one possible conflict there. We furthermore have dictators in Brazil, North Korea, Belarus, Venezuela. Brewing border tensions in Armenia/Azerbaijan, Yemen humanitarian crisis, Somalia and Afghanistan's never-ending wars, Syria, Libya etc
Add to this future climate conflicts (1/3rd of the world will have a shortage of water, leading to possible conflicts), Covid19 and other future corona viruses, not to mention possible new deadly viruses coming from the thawing of the permafrost in Russia.

I'd say look a bit further than the problems with Trump because If you ask me the world is spiraling out of control. I'm not defending anyone but the world has bigger problems than Trump that is a 100% fact.

And this is all I'm going to say about this before this thread also spiral out of control. I want to get along with you guys that is all I want.

All of these are valid points. All I’m saying is that the fact that he defends MJ can’t in any way outweigh any of his actions in the White House.

no. it's not that. you okay but it seem something not right about you for example everytime someone post something you make it as a bad thing then drama starts. that probably not your intention but to me it feels that way. you even did it to one of the mods. like you own the site or something. like i said you cool but that's need to stop or just don't do it round me because i feel that way. you have been helpful to me but just because you been helpful to me i'm not gonna been fool with your tricks because they feel like tricks etc because sometimes i don't know any better. if you wanna keep the conversation going just PM me. if not just don't every talk to me again.

I am sorry but you can't tell someone how to post. Everyone has their own posting style and as long as they are not breaking any rules, they can post whatever they want to or however they want to. If someone's posts bother you, then you can add them to your ignore list, but expecting someone to change the way they post because it makes you feel uncomfortable is ridiculous.

Stay on topic please. If you have a personal issue with another member then either ignore them or discuss it respectfully through PM, don't derail threads.
