Is there a way to see the previous years? I'm interested to see how the songs performed this year (are they all gainers for example?). Is MITM at it's highest spot...ever?

The previous years placing is below the current placing. Almost all songs made really big jumps.

also WTH George Michael 21 songs?!

Either way good news, unfortunately in Holland and Belgium MJ had the opposite effect in similar all time polls

George Michael is English so it's understandable why he has the most songs. Also, they added 4 Wham's songs to his total as well. Michael is the one with most songs as a soloist.

Poor Invincible. It's so underrated.

Its time will come. :)

If there is one album underrated it's dangerous. Even the J5 debut album got more streams and that's just based on 1 track more or less.

I have a request:

Does anyone have the weekly charts after MJ's passing in 2009 of the European hot 100 singles chart? I'm not sure if the chat still exists these days but I used to follow it in the early 2000s. It basically compiles all the best selling tracks across Europe into 1 chart.
Since dozens of MJ songs charted all over Europe I'd like to see how this resulted into the requested chart.

I doubt it tbh. Unless we get an anniversary edition for Invincible, it will keep on going under the radar and the Estate have zero reason to do an anniversary edition for Invincible.

That is because I Want You Back is a timeless classic that is still extremely popular today. Unfortunately that isn't the case for any Dangerous song.

I wouldn't put Black or White up with I Want You Back, but it was an international mega hit, and remains one of the most recognisable songs in pop history.

It may depend on the country/continent, but I'm quite sure that here (Europe) e.g. Black Or White is much more known and loved than I Want You Back, which is certainly not extremely popular or regarded as a timeless classic at all (that's actually a surprising claim even for me).

It's sad Invincible doesn't get the attention as it should. you can really blame Sony for that. it's a great album.

I guess more people are interest in 80's or before Michael than 90's and 2000's Michael. which is understandable. i'm not very keen with 90's Michael. but I do like 2000's Michael.

Black or White was a monster success when it was first released and it's probably Michael's most well known song of the 90s, but I Want You Back is Jackson 5's Billie Jean, at least in the US. BOW isn't on that level sadly.

Internationally, BOW is more popular and well known, but a large portion of the streams come from the US, as it's the largest music market, and that is why I Want You Back is ahead of BOW on spotify.
