She shouldn’t have to clarify something like that. Ofcourse Michael didn’t inspire a folk indie album and remember this is the girl who stod up at MJs memorial at the age of 11 and tried to hold a speech for him. And just imagine what it must have been like for her a few years later with the aeg trial etc when she was still just 15.

I agree. Can't believe that some fans, of all people, are pressuring her with these things, it's sad and disappointing.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

hahahahaha that's understandable. but she really needs to worry about her health. we don't want her leaving us anytime soon.

That, and the health of others also. Protective masks during this pandemic are mostly for the benefit of others, not oneself.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

While i don't agree with everything Paris does and do we don't know what Michael would of agree and disagree with. he left his kids while they were still pretty young. we don't know what he would of wanted them to etc. do i think their lives would of been different if he was still alive? maybe but i'm not a fortune teller. i think if Michael was alive he probably wouldn't agree with everything his kids does BUT at the end of the day that's his kids. they all young adults and they can do whatever they want rather Michael or us would agree. it's all about kids growing up and having their own lives not saying they don't love their dad and disrespect him but they are adults now. they all still pretty young so they have a long life ahead of them.

I just hope they be very careful in Hollyweird etc I don't want them to go though the same things Michael did which i'm glad he teach them to be like everyone else not getting attention because he was/is famous. bless him may he rest in peace. but i wish all his kids the best.

...talking about influences, rumors & her dad

I didn't know she was going though self harm. as someone who has depression and tried to harm myself once i understand. i'm not sure if her's severe or not but i'm glad she doing okay. i wish her a great life. life really does sucks.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

let Paris get inspire with other music then her dad's. like greez she can listen to other people music then Michael's. I don't believe all of these people are fans. i believe some of them are trolls pretending to fans just to go after Michael kids because some people are just that petty. *rolleyes*

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

Also people don't have to listen to her music if they don't want too.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

She wore a mask her whole childhood, now she doesn't want to.

If she doesn't want to wear it, then she is an idiot. There is a global pandemic happening at the moment and hundreds and thousands of people are dying everyday.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

Anyone who disrespect Michael kids are not fans.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

Did you guys see what Sia tweeted to Paris? Sia got a lot of nerve and even Taj and Brandi commented on the hypocrisy.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

i'm just gonna give my two cents what happen to Paris and Sia. you all may not agree with me but here's my two cents.

While I don't agree everything Paris does at the end of the day she's an adult. I do agree that Sia which I don't even know was wrong what said about Michael last year. LAST YEAR. i'm not sure if Sia has change her views since then.

I feel we need to agree and disagree with Paris. in someways she kind of mature then all of us. I mean if someone I knew thought my father did something bad I wouldn't be their friend and call them out for it.

but Paris is being mature about it. I feel as fans need to accept what she does even though we don't agree with everything she does. she already said she doesn't wanna be treat like a child anymore. we need to brush off sometimes let her be her own person no matter how much we agree and disagree.

I know Michael was the same way but he was grown man. that just how it is. we can't not force adults to do anything they don't wanna do.

I pray for her.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

I think we all should give Paris a break she's young and got whole life ahead of her.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

Paris is young and Michael's only daughter. also I kind of understand what she meant, you love an artist music but disagree with them. she probably disagree with her but love her music.

I'm more angry about Sia's shady manipulative tweets and clear attempt to use Paris to her own benefit. It wasn't a smart move by Paris to acknowledge her tweet at all (especially as it sort of ruined the winning position of the fans calling out Sia's hypocrisy), but I'm rather concerned about her as she's such an easy target and doesn't seem to be able to recognize even obvious traps. I'm not happy how she handled this situation either (and it would be useful if she could learn from it instead of just love-and-peacing out of it), just don't forget who's the main culprit and instigator here.

She did. She wanted her name out there in the headlines to "befriend" Paris, denounce the Jackson family, and to align herself with a negative stance on pedophilia. Hopefully Paris realizes this and will learn from it, otherwise she remains a target and a disposable prey for similar lowlifes, so it's serious.

And Sia hit a new kind of low with this. :gross: Cold-hearted, calculated, scary shit.

Now that's an honest support (Paris should have responded to this and ignored the other).

Never heard of this person called Sia in my life, so I guess I am missing some of the background to this story?

Those hashtags!

Paris is obviously in favour of separating the art from the artist, also with Michael Jackson.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

Never heard of this person called Sia in my life, so I guess I am missing some of the background to this story?

She's a singer, who supported LN last year (seems to be a bandwagon jumper attention seeker), now she's about to release a new LP and planned to use Paris for PR. So she wrote her an ass-kissing message, fans (and Taj and Brandi) were calling her out for her hypocrisy and were in a winning position already, when Paris came and acknowledged Sia's message :/, completely taking the bait.

Sia then continued with trashing the whole family, treating Paris as some kind of victim, herself as the savior, and those who tried to protect Paris by showing Sia's true colors as bullies. The most painful is how clueless Paris was the whole time, liking Sia's tweets and ignoring those who tried to warn her. She can be manipulated very easily by being flattered and it's very alarming (it wasn't some kind of master manipulation but Paris couldn't see through it at all). In brief: Sia succeeded with her evil plan.

Hopefully Paris will find out it was all a PR stunt using her, and wises up a bit, but TBH she seems to be completely unable to tell friends from enemies. It's like she tries too hard to find her "independence", to the point she misses the mark and sides with leeches trying to use her, while distancing herself from those who have her best interest in mind. Completely sad to witness, it's a bit like screaming to a clueless film character, warning them to beware of the predator in the background, but can't make a difference, obviously.

Sia's calculated cold moves still give me the creeps, and I can't fathom Paris's "serenity" towards people trashing her dad and family. And JFTR: I don't want her to fight this battle, as one of the biggest win against M's detractors is if his kids can be as unaffected by this mess as possible. But to interact with haters and choose them over real supporters is just incomprehensible. Especially considering she didn't bother to respond to the honest kind words of Darren Hayes, but chose to give Sia what she wanted. SMH.

I always yell at them “Can’t you hear the creepy music? Run!” Never seems to work, though. ;)

Sad to see this happening to Paris, but not unexpected. :(

She handled similar cases in such a bold and clever (often even funny) manner in the past that I hoped this spunk will protect her. But it doesn't seem to be working nowadays :/, which is especially unfortunate as I think the route she chose to take with her music/exposure is quite brilliant. But she needs a strong background to handle the pressure that will come with it, and failing to recognize such a cheap bait as Sia's is not a good sign..

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

And few days on Father's Day she just posted about TJ but not her own father when Prince did. And then another article how she ignored her own father. I saw it once I opened Google.....

It's absolutely up to her how she handles private matters and emotions. And BTW for someone, who lost her dad at such a young age, Father's Day perhaps isn't such a happy event.

Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II

Disrespect towards any of Michael's children won't be tolerated. If you want a clue as to why Paris reacts the way she does, try actually looking into her reasoning and having sympathy for what she's been through, instead of making assumptions and disgusting judgements. She went through hell, for years, and has finally got out of it through disengaging from negativity. Have some respect for her and for her choices.

So Michael's parents, siblings can be disrespected but not his kids? I have no right to criticise Paris for sucking up to Sia? I am a Michael Jackson fan. I am not a Paris fan and if I feel that she is being disrespectful towards Michael, I will criticise her.
