I'm hoping if it does good enough they might make it permanent.
 
There is already a well known MJ radio since a lot of years (anyway I'm not sure if it is officially licensed) that plays songs starting from the J5 era and so on... And it's free.
So this project looks useless to me, unless they put something new that worths the payment.

A month will take us right into Michael's birthday week - a great segway - and something wonderful for MJ fans to enjoy.

Maybe you could note them down while you’re listening, and then post a list of songs you heard, instead of making a new post for each song? That way we get a better idea of the program. :)

It sounds interesting so far, but it’s US only, isn’t it?

They could be referring to MJ Tunes online. It used to be available to listen to, 24/7, without having to register, or log in, but it appears as though it requires registration and log in details, now. Not that it's a big deal to register.....LOL

An MJ friend of mine who is in Cincinnati, Ohio, posted this comment about it, in our private FB group. It gives quite a good idea of content/programming:

For anyone who listens to Sirius XM, I just discovered that Channel 50 which is usually the Groove channel that plays a lot of old Soul and Motown, is now the Michael Jackson Channel!! Not sure if it s just for today, the week, or how long. They are playing a wide assortment of Michael songs, Jackson 5, and The Jacksons. They also play a few songs from artists who influenced Michael, like James Brown, and also artists who have been inspired and influenced by Michael like The Weekend. The commentary in between songs has been positive and interesting tidbits so far.




I think it is only in the USA, although sometimes it's possible to find radio stations online and play them, from anywhere in the world. One of my local Australian radio stations advertises that it can be heard anywhere in the world, by accessing its web-site online.

People have the choice to subscribe, so they can stream online, OR they can take advantage of a FREE trial.

May god bless Michael i never realize so many people was influence by him not to meant he had good taste in music as well. last remix i heard was him and justin timberlake love never felt so good.

I can stream online, but my understanding is that this only works for a limited time before you have to sign up. It won’t let me sign up for the free trial. I’m in Germany. Might work via VPN, haven’t tried that.
 
I'm gonna try to post songs i hear. i been hearing a few repeats. i try post every few hours so it won't look like i'm spamming etc. for others who has access you guys can help as well who doesn't has access.
 
Looks like the limited time channel is a common thing for them to do. Prince’s channel also returns for a limited time only.

SiriusXM has over 30 million subscribers. This is a great thing for MJ.
 
The Estate really has done something great for MJ&#8217;s legacy. :)

It&#8217;s US only, but it&#8217;s a start. And the US is one of the places that needs it the most.
 
Just the fact that a major organisation aren't shying away from Michael sends a statement and serves to rebuild his image further. You can see it online, people on Twitter asking "should we be celebrating him?". Those people aren't about to change their mind right away, but it pushes MJ back to where he used to be. Bit by bit.

WOW. That's really a big number. - I'm from Denmark. I have never heard about SiriusXM before.

Can I hear it in Denmark? Do they have internetradio?

I just heard one or two people ask that question on should we be celebrating him. Most comments are happy about the channel. Mj will not be hurt and limited from lies. That is what i will tell those few folks.

Actually I can listen the mobile version without registration and it still works 24/7

They pretty much been doing repeats BUT i have been hearing a few songs they don't play alot like
the we are the world demo.

tomorrow at 7:00pm they doing a special all the way to 12 midnight i think. so i'm gonna probably gonna be up for that.

i still like this radio. i hope near the end they play other songs. this set list nice so far but we need more songs and alittle less with the repeats.

right after typing this i heard Baby Be Mine the second time and Man In The Mirror the third time
 
I agree with Mikky. it is a great way to kick off Michael birthday follow with 1 million for billie jean. i just hope they add more songs to the set list. they can't get anywhere making this permanent with playing the same songs over again.

i know this is for limited of time.

I notice with Ease on Down the Road it's not the one with Michael in it. i hope they add that to the set list in a few days before it's ends.
