It was a real race between the top 3 but in the end Billie Jean takes the crown. Interestingly nobody voted for perhaps Michael's most iconic track thriller. Man in the mirror was voted as favorite song by 7 people, smooth criminal by 5 and billie jean by 3.

I would have chosen 'thriller', but only if it was the 'remixed short version' that runs for around 4 minutes. not sure if that counts though..

It didn't matter to me thriller is thriller. Anything counts I even took into account some person's vote for "family thing" while nobody heard it in good quality :)

It was surprisingly close, I thought for a minute maybe I should not start the counting yet I think if this stays on for a while longer that BJ wouldn't to the list.
I was especially thrilled to see really forgotten songs making some top 5s like "to know" or "show you the way to go".
 
I think 'thriller' was the most creative song rod temperton wrote for Michael. a classic even before the short film, that worked on many levels. all parties involved pushed and outdid themselves.

'off the wall' is my favourite of the collaborations though :)

'show you the way to go' would definitely be on my list had it been solely the jacksons and not just michael.

I don't regret my choices :)
