LaToya with one of MJ's biggest haters: Victor Gutierrez :O

Re: Jermaine talks about Michael, allegations, humanitarianism, J5, & Joe's beatings - New interview

That makes my blood run cold.

Do we know what this hug was all about? My speakers broke so I have no sound at the moment.

Mind you if you think about it they have a lot in common so perhaps they see each other as kindred spirits .

Ive been searching for it. from what I remember Victor has or had a talk show in Chili and Latoya went on it and allowed him to interview her I think this interview with Latoya was sometime around June 2010. It may not be on google in english so if someone speaks spanish maybe they can help search for it.

Gutierrez wrote the book "Michael Jackson was my lover", a very slanderous book about MJ and Jordy Chandler.

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Huging Victor Gutierrez

i bet she helped him for his book

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Huging Victor Gutierrez

Hope the kids will see that on their twitter.

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Huging Victor Gutierrez

Please Diplomate lets leave the kids out of this discussion - Thanks

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Huging Victor Gutierrez

He is well known in the MJ fan base especially to those who followed the Jordy chandler fiasco and and Michaels trial. Here I'll help get you up to speed. Victor G is related to Jordy Chandler he wrote a slanderous book about Michael and Jordy chandler and he also made public accusations about Michael to Diane Dimond on air that he had a video tape of MJ molesting his nephew Jeremy. Michael sued him for slander and won. Victor fled the country to escape paying the debt.

Ok I found this info posted below on Michaeljackson.com
with a link to an article published on march 17, 2010 in a Chili Paper about her interview with Victor G

Latoya knew who he was :(
know I should not spread any bad feelings towards MJ's relatives, but I really need to vent. Today, in a Chilean newpaper, a happy Víctor Guitérrez claims he made what seemed to be impossible: to interview one of MJ's family members, namely, LaToya.

This guy is one of MJ's biggest haters of all times. He has been for some 18 year telling lies and spreading the worst rumors against Michael not only in Chile, but in Latin America, USA and Europe. He claims he is one of the few who know "the most" about MJ. He has always said MJ hated being black, that he bleached his skin, and always refused accepting MJ had vitiligo something which has now been confirmed as a fact by MJ's autopsy report. Not only this, but he wrote a disgusting book using, according to him, the personal diary of Jordy Chandler, describing how Michael did this and that to the poor boy, being "this and that" those nasty, disgusting lies we all know. MJ sued this man and he won the legal battle. The book was forbidden and he would have had to paid MJ some 2 million USD, but Gutierrez claim he was in bankrupcy (while running away from the US and traveling around the world to be paid to tell lies about MJ on the media). Just think how terrible that book must be that even the US legal system agreed it was a lie and difamation. This man has links with Diane Diamond. Of course.

And now, LaToya has given him an interview to talk about what Gutierrez calls "other things", that is, her conspiracy theory against Michael. Gutierrez said he didn't believe she would accept him, but finally she did and they had such a good talk that at the end he told her about his mother (who died some time ago) and she was so sorry... And then they talked about the earthquake of Chile and she was so moved she sent a brief message to Chile : "Fuerza Chile".

On Gutierrez words: "I believe the earthquake brought us together"

At the end of the article, Gutierrez jokes the rest of the brothers "wouldn't even want to see my face" and that despite this interview with Latoya he will always believe Michael was a pedo.... , but also that he had been murdered.

You can see the article (in Spanish) here: http://www.lun.com/Pages/NewsDetail.aspx?dt=2010-03-17&PaginaId=26&bodyid=0
you can see a small video of her message to Chile and she holding Gutierrez so happily as long time friends
barf.gif
No info was given on where this will be aired.

Now.... am I missing something here? Does the "fight for justice" mean deals with this kind of people who have hurt Michael IN LIFE so much? I really don't understand LaToya. And I wonder if she knows this guy is now claiming so cheerfully he got her and that he will always belive MJ was a p*****

I might be over reacting. I know. But if you see LaToya holding Diane Diamond like and old time friend... and then Diamond she will always think MJ was a monster.... then... I need some help to understand what is the idea of LaToya doing this.
Any hints? I feel sick today

Which is why no none respects that family. They don't even have enough pride to protect their own.

meaning that it was even worse that he claimed it was one of his own nephews and toya is still hanging with him.obviously accsuing him of doing it to anyone is bad enough but to say it was a relative and then to see toya with him makes her even worse

Here is the back story I found on MJ .com The mother of the boy was Jermaines ex / GF Margaret Maldonado denies Victors story and the existance of a Tape. Victor never could present the non- existant tape. Even when he was being sued by Michael.

Victor Gutierrez is a freelance writer who appeared on the U.S. tabloid television show “Hard Copy” to claim that there was a videotape of Michael Jackson molesting a boy. Some background on his story can be found in the book Jackson Family Values, by Jermaine Jackson’s ex-common-law wife, Margaret Maldonado. She writes that in early 1995,

” I received a telephone call from a writer named Ruth Robinson. I had known Ruth for quite a while and respected her integrity. It made what she had to tell me all the more difficult to hear. “I wanted to warn you, Margaret,” she said. “There’s a story going around that there is a videotape of Michael molesting one of your sons, and that you have the tape.”If anyone else had said those words, I would have hung up the phone. Given the long relationship I had with Ruth, however, I gave her the courtesy of a response. I told her that it wasn’t true, of course, and that I wanted the story stopped in its tracks. She had been in contact with someone who worked at the National Enquirer who had alerted her that a story was being written for that paper. Ruth cross-connected me with the woman, and I vehemently denied the story. Moreover, I told her that if the story ran, I would own the National Enquirer before the lawsuits I brought were finished. To its credit, the National Enquirer never ran the piece.”Hard Copy,” however, decided it would. “Hard Copy” correspondent Diane Dimond had reported that authorities were reopening the child molestation case against Michael. She had also made the allegations on L.A. radio station KABC-AM on a morning talk show hosted by Roger Barkley and Ken Minyard.Dimond’s claims were based on the word of a freelance writer named Victor Gutierrez. The story was an outrageous lie. Not one part of it was true. I’d never met the man. There was no tape. Michael never paid me for my silence. He had never molested Jeremy. Period.”

After the “Hard Copy” story aired, the LAPD told the Los Angeles Times that they had seen no such videotape, they were not looking for it, and there was no renewed investigation into molestation allegations. Michael Jackson subsequently filed a $100 million slander lawsuit against Gutierrez, “Hard Copy”, and KABC-AM for perpetuating the story. None of these parties ever produced the videotape or any evidence it existed. Because Jackson’s lawyers could find no sign of the videotape or the origin of the tale, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reginald Dunn ruled that Gutierrez was no longer protected by the California Shield Law, and ordered him to name his source. Gutierrez did not, instead claiming that a host of people, including Elizabeth Taylor and Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti, could verify the existence of the videotape (none of these people in fact supported him). Consequently, on October 15, 1996, Judge Dunn ruled that Gutierrez’s story was false and that he had acted with malice and was therefore liable for presumed and punitive damages (the amount of which would be determined at a later date.) The writer then fled to Mexico.

In October 1997, a legal action to assess the amount of “presumed and punitive damages” to be paid to Michael Jackson by Victor Gutierrez was delayed due to Gutierrez filing for bankruptcy. Mr. Jackson’s lawyers stated that the assessment of such damages would be determined and that Gutierrez would not be protected indefinitely by his action.

On April 9, 1998 Michael Jackson won the slander suit against free-lance writer Victor Gutierrez. A Los Angeles jury ordered Victor Gutierrez to pay Michael Jackson $2.7 million for failing to prove the existence of a videotape that allegedly showed Michael in an inappropriate conduct with a young boy.

“We talked to the jurors afterwards,” Michael’s lawyer Mr. Modabber said. “They said they wanted to send a message that they were tired of the tabloids telling malicious stories about celebrities for money. They said they hope this will send a message not to do this.”

Mr. Gutierrez then published a book, purportedly based upon a secret diary created by Jordie Chandler detailing their relationship. People actually believe that the book is valid. Don't buy it, even out of curiosity.

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Hugging Victor Gutierrez

guiterrez has a history of accusing high profile ppl in his own country of being child abusers. theres was some thread on here i think that was quite disturbing about his connections to is it nambla?

it was probably La Loony Tune herself helping him making up those claims. Nothing would shock me, people tend to get fooled by her stupid air headed appearance, but I truly believe that among all the stupidity and dumbness the woman is evil, along with being an attention seeker, jealous, dumb as rocks, etc etc

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Hugging Victor Gutierrez

La Toya WHAT??

Well they deserve each other. Both made a hell of Michael's life. Sweet couple of two mfs

VICTOR GUTIERREZ: TABLOID FUGITIVE
More detailed information From the Veritas project
http://mjjr.net/content/mjcase/index2.html

VICTOR GUTIERREZ: TABLOID FUGITIVE
As damaging as Diane Dimond's and Ray Chandler’s respective smear campaigns have been against Jackson, none of their activities could have been possible without the help of Victor Gutierrez. In 1997, Victor Gutierrez released Michael Jackson was my Lover, a tell-all book that describes in detail the alleged relationship that took place between Michael Jackson and his accuser. Included in Gutierrez’s supposed expose are exclusive documents from the case, never before seen photographs of Jordan Chandler and excerpts from a “secret diary” that was allegedly kept by the boy. Because this information could have only been provided to Gutierrez by somebody close to the case, many began to speculate that the accuser’s father Evan Chandler might have assisted Gutierrez in writing the book.

In addition, this sophomoric, pornographic, C-Level farce of a book claimed that Jackson had given the boy a venereal disease. One book reviewer described Michael Jackson was my Lover as a “pedophiliac opus” and recounted some of the salacious details contained in the book: “…the photo section alone includes sketches of the [Jackson’s] genitalia, photos of the ‘actual bathroom’ where alleged sexual transgression took place, as well as snapshots of one of the reputed victim's ‘shit and urine stain[ed]’ underwear… results of [the boy’s] VD test, explicit transcripts detailing [Jackson’s] seduction techniques… [and] the identities of several other child stars who reportedly had sex with Jackson.”10 Needless to say, the book was banned from the United States due to its explicit content.

Shortly after releasing Michael Jackson was my Lover, Gutierrez began making the TV rounds. During an appearance on the tabloid television show Hard Copy, Gutierrez told reporter Diane Dimond that he had seen a videotape of Michael Jackson molesting his nephew Jeremy. According to Gutierrez, the alleged tape had been captured by one of Jackson’s security cameras and given to the boy’s mother by an unknown source. Upon viewing the tape’s contents, Gutierrez says, the mother contacted the Los Angeles Police Department only to have her claims ignored by investigators. Unsure of what to do, she got in contact with Gutierrez, arranged a meeting with him in a hotel room and showed him the alleged tape.

“And now she is scared,” Gutierrez told Dimond. “The District Attorney is trying to get these tapes and I guess through my sources, they already (sic) been in contact with the mother. So, it's up to the mother now to make the final decision.”

LEGAL FALLOUT
In response to the allegations, Jackson filed a defamation of character lawsuit against Victor Gutierrez and Hard Copy. During the civil proceedings, the boy’s mother Margaret Maldonado testified that, contrary to what Gutierrez had reported, neither of her two sons had been molested by Jackson, she had not received any money from Jackson and she had never met Victor Gutierrez.

Maldonado later discussed the case in her book Jackson Family Values:

“I received a telephone call from a writer named Ruth Robinson. I had known Ruth for quite a while and respected her integrity. It made what she had to tell me all the more difficult to hear. 'I wanted to warn you, Margaret,' she said. 'There's a story going around that there is a videotape of Michael molesting one of your sons, and that you have the tape.' If anyone else had said those words, I would have hung up the phone. Given the long relationship I had with Ruth, however, I gave her the courtesy of a response. I told her that it wasn't true, of course, and that I wanted the story stopped in its tracks.

To its credit, the National Enquirer never ran the piece. Hard Copy, however, decided it would. Hard Copy correspondent Diane Dimond had reported that authorities were reopening the child molestation case against Michael. She had also made the allegations on L.A. radio station KABC-AM on a morning talk show hosted by Roger Barkley and Ken Minyard. Dimond's claims were based on the word of a freelance writer named Victor Gutierrez. The story was an outrageous lie. Not one part of it was true. I'd never met the man. There was no tape. Michael never paid me for my silence. He had never molested Jeremy. Period."

In court, Gutierrez could not produce the videotape that he claimed to have viewed and he refused to reveal his source. According to Jackson’s attorney Zia Modabber, “Gutierrez told a D.A. Investigator and two witnesses who testified at the trial that the boy's mother was his source. He told anyone who would listen. The only people he would not tell were the ladies and gentlemen of his jury - that's when he became ethical. Now he's getting on his high horse saying he's protecting his source.”

Superior Court Judge Reginald Dunn ruled that Gutierrez’s story was false and the jury subsequently awarded Jackson $2.7 million in damages. "[Gutierrez] made the whole thing up, and we sued him for it," Modabber said.14
According to Ruben Rasso, a member of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, Gutierrez then fled from the United States and moved to Chile in order to avoid paying Jackson the money.

In November 2003, when Jackson was accused of child molestation for a second time, Gutierrez began giving interviews about the case to Chilean newspapers. He claimed that the new set of allegations validated the contents of his book and as a result, Jackson had defamed his character and now owed him money. Gutierrez even went so far as to say that Jackson’s 2,700-acre ranch would soon be his.

During an interview with La Cuarta, Gutierrez alleged that Santa Barbara District Attorney Tom Sneddon had contacted him about being a potential witness in the current case against Jackson. A week later, a member of the District Attorney’s office contacted La Cuarta to refute those claims.

In early 2004, Gutierrez was offered $25, 000 a month from Dateline NBC to cover the Jackson case. He accepted the offer and is now a consulting producer for the news program. Given the fact that Gutierrez has irrefutably fabricated stories about Jackson in the past, one must question NBC’s decision to hire Gutierrez to cover the case.18
Recently, Dateline NBC aired a report entitled Inside the Michael Jackson Case; the credits reveal that Gutierrez was the consulting producer for the program. Not surprisingly, Inside the Michael Jackson Case was heavily slanted in favour of the prosecution’s version of events and was laced with numerous falsehoods, half-truths and innuendos. Again, Gutierrez is a proven liar, particularly when it comes to Michael Jackson. Is NBC intentionally trying to taint the jury pool by hiring a man who clearly has an axe to grind with Jackson to produce a program about his case?

So far, NBC has not commented on Gutierrez’s involvement with Inside the Michael Jackson Case. How this man has enough credibility to have a job with ANY network is beyond belief. Whether due to hypnotic stupidity or mean-spirited revenge against Jackson, Gutierrez and Dateline have turned trashing Jackson into an Olympic sport. But rest assured, we see Gutierrez involved in another Olympic sport once Jackson’s good name has been cleared: dodging a subpoena.

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Hugging Victor Gutierrez

guiterrez has a history of accusing high profile ppl in his own country of being child abusers. theres was some thread on here i think that was quite disturbing about his connections to is it nambla?

yes as i remember he attended one of conference NAMBLA

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Hugging Victor Gutierrez

Guittarez comes across as pro nambla. That is the reason his book 'mj was my lover' was banned in the usa, nothing to do with slander against mj but because it presented the relationship between mj and jchandler as a love affair.

There seems a definite connection between evan chandler and guittarez as vg's book has chandler documents in it and guittarez was interviewed by police pretty early on in the chandler investigation in 1993 which could suggest vg was involved in the allegations. I'm pretty sure jermaine in his book tells the story that vguittarez approached joy robson and wade to ask leading questions about their relationship with mj (this was pre chandler allegations), which could make it likely that he also approached evan chandler once he found out mj was friends with jordan and poisoned evan's mind about his son's relationship with mj.

How latoya could have anything to do with this man is just mindboggling - he had accused mj of molesting her own nephew which resulted in a courtcase - no way did she not know about that.

Re: Why is Latoya jackson Hugging Victor Gutierrez

Yes I remember this :mat:

I suppose a Q & A with LaToya is out of the question?

Not surprised about the hug. After all, they share the same opinion of Michael, right?

She knew
It is posted above in the article above - about the Interview. Victor say he didnt think Latoya would even agree to the interview with him but finally they talked her into it. ( How probably $$$) He also said he knows MJ's bothers would never agree. Then adds that although he agrees with Latoya that MJ was murdered he still thinks he was a P***
