I am very nervous! ... I wanted to order the King of Pop France Edtion 3 CD of Amazon.fr , today...but I did a thousand nerves ...The CD costs about 16 euros and transportation costs 14 euro ...is outrageous!!!!!

does anyone have this cd yet does anyone have a scan of tracks inlay not the back sleeve but with production notes etc.

regarding the availability of thet Cd in other countries : Sony Lusic France has shipped all Cd's to stores in France like Fnac, Virgin Stores etc...


We tried to see if some online offer could be made to the fans, but right now that cannot happen.

The alternative solution would be for fans to combine orders from amazon.fr or Fnac.com and thus split s+h fees between them.

Hopefully a better solution will be worked out and/or that some online stores like Amazon.uk will import some CD's.

it's a digipak that spreads in 3 parts, like the deluxe editions from Universal Records.

The tracklist is indeed interesting. But I do have the songs already...

The French King Of Pop with 3 covers????

Well I just recieved my 3CD copy of this KOP and I have to say Carousel is still having a strange start. Just like the cut the intro or something... The rest of the song is great. Does any of you know how long the original version of Carousel has to be or if they really still cut the intro or something? Because Carousel & Rock with you (original LP version) are the only reasons I bought this CD.

Well I just recieved my 3CD copy of this KOP and I have to say Carousel is still having a strange start. Just like the cut the intro or something... The rest of the song is great. Does any of you know how long the original version of Carousel has to be or if they really still cut the intro or something? Because Carousel & Rock with you (original LP version) are the only reasons I bought this CD.

1 / there are no 3 covers for KOP FRENCH EDITION. designers worked on a first version (billie jean live) rejected by someone who is said to work for "michael's interests" (lol). a second version was created (bad tour pic) but the final (casual black or white pose picture) was chosen. that was a hectic process, needless to say.

2 / Carousel released on KOP French and Italy editions has a shorter instrumental bridge section. the version that is online at Michael Sembello's official website is the full version (long instrumental break) but Lo-Fi quality.

3 / Rock With You Original LP Version was only released on CD in Japan in 1984 (on a very basic and first generation CD). This track is now available on a remastered set (and fans won't have to spend USD 150 + to get that mix on CD).
