I don&#8217;t. I have great trust in Taj. And he gave good reasons why there aren&#8217;t many updates. :)

I don&#8217;t want to tip my hat too early and give them a chance to sabotage this project.&#8221;

I really hope that this will be good. I have high hopes that it will. taj said he gonna find a great place to show it on. he didn't say where as of yet. but me and mother will keep a look out all this year.

taj also said he not looking for this doc to change anything but to tell the true about Michael. so even if this does be good. there's still gonna probably gonna be haters etc. so I agree with that. we can't stop people what they think about Michael. but we can give info and research for them to think.

New update from Taj:

Here to clear up some minor confusion.

The project will DEFINITELY cover the allegations. What I promised in 2019, will still be covered. :)
That was the main reason why I first wanted to do this way back in 2009.
Without addressing these rumors and allegations, my uncle&#8217;s name and legacy will never be COMPLETELY cleared.

The media&#8217;s constant lies, bullying and 30+ year attack on Michael Jackson and his name will also be heavily addressed. The public has been subconsciously brainwashed for decades on &#8220;***** *****&#8221; and &#8220;Weirdo&#8221; and &#8220;Freak&#8221; headlines. This stops now. Time to hold the main culprits accountable and expose them and their hatred.

In Holland I said during the Square One Q&A that the project had taken a slightly different tone since last update. This is true. Originally it was just about exposing and attacking the lies. However I have also decided to focus on "what Michael Jackson was really like" and "how all these lies affected him".

That by no means meant that I was abandoning my original idea. Both need to exist to get the whole picture of Michael Jackson and to more importantly HUMANIZE him.
I also will be including some of his major charity work and humanitarianism. Which I believe is his true long lasting legacy.

One more thing....
Let me address production and distribution.
I would like nothing more to have a big distributor like a Netlix. That has ALWAYS been the plan. To have as many people see this as possible and for it to come out this year.
What I don&#8217;t want to do however is hand over control too early and the project turns out completely different than our goal. We all saw what happened with the Martin Bashir documentary and that originally was suppose to be a positive piece.
I really don&#8217;t trust words coming from the industry anymore. And neither would you if you knew all the behind the scenes drama and politics that we are dealing with daily. This is a chess game. In some small way I now know the crap my uncle had to deal with throughout his life.

In closing...
I am 200 percent committed to this project and fighting for THE TRUTH. If you truly knew how much I love and respect my uncle, you would understand. I just want to do right by him and make him proud.

That being said... I am always listening and thankful for all the info you guys send and share with me. Although I know 95 percent of it, sometimes I don't and I want to cover all bases.

2020 is our year so let's keep the faith.

If he hasn't reached out to Lisa does that mean the rumour about her being a financial backer is untrue?

yes, thats untrue and Taj denied that rumor right after it came up.

He said yesterday he would love to have Lisa Marie on the project but he has not reached out to her yet because if he reaches out to her he wants to make sure to be able to shoot with her right away. He obviously is not at that point yet.

Netflix is not enough at all. BBC and other national broadcasters all over the world need to pick it up primetime. Netflix will have zero effect, only fans will stream it anyway. The people that need their minds changed are not the youngsters but the 50+ year olds.

It will never be marketed the same way as LN was. That was all over the news, not a single tv station that broadcasted LN will now change 180 degrees to jump on MJ's side.
Most important is the big news sites that need to mention it and tell people how they can watch it but again that is very unrealistic.

Lisa Marie will not participate, she has her book to publish and it's not gonna paint a positive picture about MJ. That's my guess anyway.

PS trying to expose the press/media is foolish. They will not write a word about the entire doc. They always win, it's evil incarnated.

Netflix would be way better than TV, in my opinion. If it's on TV it's on once and then it's gone. Netflix is long term and it could reach way more people, especially if they market it properly. Even if initially it just got popular from fan views it could get on the trending list or the documentary lists they have on there, which means it's then exposed to a wider audience. It just needs a good trailer to suck people in. It could also get pushed to a wider audience through their similar interest recommendations. Whether the media write about it is irrelevant, the media aren't going to change, but the doc could have a positive effect on the public and Michael's image.

But Netflix only has 167 million subscriptions. I'm not sure how much viewers LN got but I assume it got a far wider reach thanks to national tv's all over the world.
This doc has the potential to be big: exposing liars, exposing media hidden agenda, the first big pro MJ doc.
The doc should simply be headlining the news everywhere to have a positive effect. I don't believe Netflix is big enough yet.

LN made it to Netflix after being on national TV stations.
That would be the ideal for Taj's docu as well to reach the most people.
But if we can only have one, I'd hope for TV. It would reach more of the people that really need to see it.

The docu could need a bombshell news like Jordan speaking out. Then it could actually reach a similar hype as LN.

I hope he can put on something where everyone can watch and don't a lot of money. it would be interesting if lisa be in it. I can't wait to see who all gonna be in it. wishing this doc the best.

So it gonna be a series with parts? cool! this sounds good. I can't wait to see it and learn more about Michael. i hope his doc will close everything and that Michael can rest in peace.

I made a separate thread for Taj streamings in the 2300 Jackson st section. He says he is going to do them often, maybe once a week. Maybe it should have been posted in this thread or a separate thread in this section. Feel free to move it if you like.

It doesn't matter what channel it is on. It matters whether journalists are going to talk and write about it or not. That's all that matters.

(Not that many people actually saw LN – but the press was all over it.)

I think it does matter were it airs. not everybody use Netflix. also to buy it just for a doc is ridiculous. I hope Taj find a nice platform. also keep in mind guys he said this doc is only saying the truth about Michael but not changing the fact people feel about Michael. so even when this doc airs don't except all good articles and reviews about it.

I wish him the best.
