MJ said in his Oxford speech that he may tell all the greatest geniuses who graduated from this ancient University that he traveled the world more than 8 times and this means he knows probably more than them all !

since there was Moses, Aaron , there was Jesus and since there was Jesus there was Muhammed and since there was Muhammed there was Luther King and Nelson Mandella and Mother Teresa ! Why not !
 
For me, the Heart of all religions is One.

What Man along the Ages has "added" to that Heart, and what you accept of it... that is a secret between you and God.

I have also moved to Islam. It's almost 15 years now. Been rather "exoteric" in it but soon I found the Spiritual Path in Islam (which is called Sufism or Tassawwuf in Islam). I can perfectly go on loving Jesus, because he is a great Prophet and Model, also in Islam, especially Spiritual Islam. Our Guide, Prophet Muhammad, is not very different from Jesus if you read him in a Spiritual way.
Not all Muslims accept the spiritual Path and that hurts.

All religions are correct , there is no wrong religion...even in the same religion all parties are correct... I believ in all these men and woman all of them and i believe in all holy books and i understand that this is like the different shapes of the hand's finger , the hand will be useless with only one size or shape of fingers....yes, i believe in Muhammad as much as i beelive in Juese and Mouses ....this is what My open minded mother taught me ! bless her heart !

many people disfigure religions as much as they disfigure politics and medicie,,,i love socialism so much and i believe that it was supposed to be a great method of new emperors in the modern world but many people destroyed and disfigured this great political school,,,and now everyone hates it !

It is sad that some "religious" leaders speak and act as if in all matters they know perfectly how to understand and how to live the Books, the religion, dayly life... they act if they were God.
There has to be some consensus or there is chaos, but some leaders should be more humble because in the end it is God who knows best.

So I agree, it is man who disfigures religion.
 
I have very strong opinions that I should not post here. I'll say this though:

I hate it when one group/person keeps saying "this is the truth, this is the way, how can you not?" Urgh. It's SOO annoying! We all have different paths.

And the "evidence" at the end of the video of "so many christians have left for Islam" is invalid. So many muslims leave Islam. Six million muslims leave every year. However, this doesn't make any religion superior. People just have their own paths to God. I can post you a million videos and testiments of people who left Islam for Christ, who dreamt of Christ, who saw Christ or who just joined after research but I'm not gonna bother. I am not for religious propaganda.

I am a Christian who left Islam. I believe in the son, the father and the holy spirit but I'm not gonna shove that down people's throats. *Sigh* This thread is, however, upsetting to me. It gives the impression that Islam is superior and that it is the only truth and that Christianity is false.

I can feel you DanceofZenab and for me it is very hard trying not to be ashamed everyday of what's going on with teachers, leaders, politicians and I think a huge part of Muslims.
Litteralism (in how they understand the Books), paranoia, hate instead of Love. The Heart of Islam is Love, just like the Heart of other religions. Teachers and people stick to stubborn litteralism and intolerance for other beliefs or even for Spirituality, Sufism, because it could take away from their power.
But power is worth nothing in the eyes of God.
For me the essence of Islam, the Spirituality of the Prophet, which in Spirit could have been Jesus as wel, was the reason I converted to this religion, it is meant to be a religion of Peace, of Oneness of God and in God. I "fight" for its Spirituality, Sufism, for a better Islam.
That's why I stay. And I love Jesus and Muhammad and all Prophets and Buddha and the Vedic Rishi's and so on. There is Spirituality in every religion, and Sufism is a very "living" one. Sufis live from the heart and try to connect with God until they feel His Presence every moment, in every breathing and in every sign they see in the inner and outer World.
But I don't want to write pub for it, I just wanted to say that there is another Islam than what we see in the news. There is a spiritual, mystical Islam of peace and love and the Prophet Jesus is surely a part of it! He is a great model, a very loving and brilliant Spiritual Guide. The real Muhammad also is.
(And I don't like those video's neither ;))

The best thing made me go to Islam, is that Islam recognizes the collection of religions, it's all written in the Holy Qur'an

Thanks God, I read the webpage your link refers to and I think it is a decent Wikipedia article.
(There is so much sectarical extremist propaganda on line... always be carefull what you read^^)

i do not believe that a person can move from religion to another, does this mean that you remove your memory,can u do this..neither the guys in the video nor you dance of zenab1994 can do this,,,,, this is not true,,,,it is like learining a new language this will never remove your mother tongue from your memory....

i think having different religions is as interesting as having different languages,,,nothing is wrong about it,,,,but to be so angry like this DanceofZenab1994 , shows that you have a problem with certain people not with the religion itself !


,,religion is like music they all have the same sound and the same effect but we have different singers,,,,, Personally i belive in a supreme power but i love to learn more about Kali and indian religions , they are very spirtual and diverse !

P.S. if u want to read about a science or a religion read the original books do not ask people to tell you about them,,,every person has his own understanding,,,,,it is like asking people about a person while you have his/her autobiography,,,,read the source this is the main basic rule in the scientific research !

It's also about HOW to read the source, how to understand it.
The "glasses" offered by a Salafi teacher will be different than the "glasses" offered by a Maliki teacher or by a Sufi teacher. That's important.

wise people make things more peaceful and more acceptable than difficult ones....i used to read alot about a great man called "Confucius" and i was running to my friends every morning with his quotes and every friend is like ...Juese said this also and she start to recite it , another one would say Muhammad said the same exact thing and she show me the quote in her book ,,,come onnnnn ,Luther King said this too, another guy would shout ,

so,thanx to my friends and to my very cultured mother i start to love all these historical figures ,,,they are like brothers but these control freaks change all the love to hate !


this is the main reason i'm a fan of a great Icon called Michael Jackson ,,,i swear to God i feel that MJ is one of them wise people whose message as Dalia Lama say kindness.

No. I've read the book and have heard it been read and have read translations too and even the basics, such as women cannot pray when they are on their periods or the image of heaven was enough to push me away - forever. Most people in my life are Muslims. I adore them to bits. My best friends are Muslims. Please do not assume I left the religion I was born into for no reason - especially when I was a strict muslim, until the death of Michael. Do not judge me like that. I know my facts. There is no need to analyse me like a poem. I know exactly what I am mad at and for respect for other members, I will not go too deeply into it and please do not ask me too either.

The problem I have with this thread is that I find it offensive as the original post comes across as nothing but religious propaganda which allows room for no other religion. It's one side of many, many stories. If we discuss Jesus in the Quran or post evidence of other people converting to other religions, it will be an equal, fair discussion. Right now, the only information posted suggests it's Islam's way or no way. Not fair.

i'm sorry that i do not understand what you're talking about! I wish i can know about these teachers and teaching , but i do not read religions in details becuase as they say , devil resides in the details lol.

i read mainly about Muhammed and the Islam in general as much as i read about Noah,Adam
& his beloved Eve Aaron & Moses (personally i love Moses alot , although i'm not Jew)..and without Michalangelo do we really care about David ! and with out MJ had i read anything about Joseph and his father !

that's why i call myself Libreal ....i'm open to all religions as much as they are open to me and can understand and contain me !

personally i find it very interesting to know about different riligions becuase these religions are based on cultures mainly ,,,so to have different religons is like knowing different cultures....do not freak out ! just read and read and read more about all the religions in the world and about the political and artistic revolutions,,,,all these things TOGETHER , not one of them and without rejecting any of them will make you happy !

happiness is in diversity....it is crazy to have one religion and one language and one identity in 2011 ! hey we must move on ,,the internet is the new prophet we must learn its rules and teachings and without it we are in darkness.....

prophets are knowledge nothing more and nothing less !

i used to study and old Indian religion and in that religion everything is amazing except that you have to awake you're God every morning ! and i was like o_O ?!!

but i still love and respect this religion and it's followers and i make use of alot of it's teaching in my life !

That's nice to know. I just had a bad experience with it. That's all. I felt that God didn't love me. I'm not saying that my feelings are the one and only truth but it is my truth just like other people choose to access the love of God via Islam and other religions. I simply access it via christianity and the simple state of being alive.
 
God is Love.

Finding God within your own heart, that is your true path.

Different religions it's like different levels of finding God.

There were many prophets, but Jesus Christ is one and only Son of God.

i pray to all Holy & Divine things in the skies and lands ! that i will not end up seeing the horrible so-called believers near me in Heaves otherwise i'll comeback to Earth !


by the way , In some religions ,,Earth itself will become the Heavens , intresting, right ?
that's why i always urge people to take care of Earth , we may stay here forever :)
