Dear Members

It would seem we again need to reiterate advertising on MJJC via threads signature's and profiles chat rooms and pms etc.

As our rules state you are not permitted to promote your Michael Jackson fan clubs, fan site's and multimedia websites, pod casts etc via the threads, signatures and profiles or by any other means here on MJJC, you are also not permitted to in any shape or form place donation threads or projects that involve donations, as they are a conflict of interest with our own services we provide.

Permitted are personal Facebook/Youtube/Myspace/blogs and Twitter accounts.

Those who ignore this request will have all signatures removed and be placed in the no signature group for a minimum of 60 days on first occurrence, if this continues we will have no alternative but to terminate your account here.

Given some members have chosen to ignore this we have had little choice but to use the functions available to us on this board by adding urls to certain fan clubs and fan sites to our disallow list.

Please be aware this is purely to protect MJJC and the ever decreasing traffic numbers since Michael's passing.

Thank you for your understanding, please by all means pass this message to those who do no come to this section.

I'm confused, I asked last time this thing was brought up, if it was ok to have a link to our own youtube channels, and you said we were allowed to have our youtube channel link there.

So should we all remove the links to our youtube channel, or?

Dear Members,

Our continued policy regarding advertising on MJJC via threads signatures and profiles chat rooms and pms etc.:

As our rules state, you are not permitted to promote other Michael Jackson fan clubs, fan sites and multimedia websites, pod casts and such, via the threads, in your signatures and profiles, or by any other means here on MJJC. You are also not permitted to, in any shape or form, place donation threads or projects that involve donations, as they are a conflict of interest with our own services and we cannot take responsibility for steering members towards any transactions where money changes hands.

Links to personal Facebook/Youtube/Myspace/Blogs and Twitter accounts are permitted.

Those who cannot assist us with this request, will have links and/or signatures removed and may also lose signature privileges. Other punitive measures are available to us, also, but we are hopeful that those are not necessary.

As a further precaution, the urls of certain fan clubs and fan sites have been added to our disallow list.

Please be aware that this is a normal request and expectation, on sites such as this one.
It is purely to protect MJJC and keep traffic flowing TO the site, rather than away from it.
