A to M cities vs N to Z cities

For each post, if the name of the city where you live starts with letter A to M, you go up 4 numbers, if it starts with letter N to Z you go down by 4 numbers. We start at 500 and if the number reaches 1000 the members of cities starting with A to M win, if the number reaches 0 the members of cities starting with N to Z win.

So for example:
It starts at 500
[A to M posts] they say 504
[N to Z posts after that] 496
