Our current plan is do daily summaries of the trial. We are aiming to finish and post them by midnight USA time. In this way our hopes are that European translators will have the daily summaries by the time they wake up. We will see if we can maintain this performance goals when the trial starts.

And a request : Your translations are posted on MJJCommunity Twitter. (We are also arranging to post them on the main website). Can the translators please write short headlines about the translation subject. So that I can copy them when posting your translations on twitter? Thank you.

Could you make this thread "English Summaries - Easy reference for the Translator Teams" a sticky too, please?

Would it be possible that translators get an automatic pm when a new to-be-translated summary is posted?

If you go to http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/th...anslator-Teams and then from thread tools you can select subscribe to this thread and then select instant email option. It would send you an email - to the email address you registered to MJJC-

I was just wondering - would it make sense to have threads for all the respective languages for people to post links to news articles in their languages?

We have the discussion threads for that. I think we should keep the translations threads clean of all other articles.

No, I meant separate threads just for news articles.

I am not against it, but wouldn't it be too much - three threads per language?

I don't know, that's why I was wondering. If the discussion threads get very busy, the links might get lost. So far they don't look too active though. And then there is also the risk of people posting tabloid articles, and I don't think we need that. So yeah, I don't know.

Sure, it is not a dictionary site, it is a translators' site, but there are all possible languages. I believe that Russian translators are also quite active there. There are glossaries and possibilities to ask questions to other translators in KUDOZ section. There is also a forum in Russian.

    www.proz.com

The site is huge, there are many things to discover.

    p.s. There's a similar site to www.proz.com

    http://www.translatorscafe.com/cafe/default.asp

    p
.p.s. These links can be helpful to everyone, no matter from/into which language you translate.

@Ivy, I've just noticed, the Cuban/Mexican juror, how old is he? We have all jurors' ages except his.

p.s. Do we have any info about the 5 remaining jurors?
