^^Respect: I like your updated list. I'd make a few changes for my own list like adding Frank Sinatra back with "My Way." I'd change Streisand's song to "People", the Beatles to "A Hard Day's Night" (that was hard, tho) and with Marvin, I'd choose 'Heard It through the Grapevine' or "What's Going On.'

I made up another list of people I listened to on my parent's albums, or watched on TV in the Great Old Variety Show Days from childhood, through my teenage years and early 20's when I was buying my own albums and seeing artists live. I still listen to those albums today.

    Nat King Cole Unforgettable
    Mel Torme Blue Moon
    Carpenters Close To You
Bette Midler Wind beneath my Wings
    Dionne Warwick Walk on By
    Barry Manilow At the Copa
Neil Sedaka Breaking Up is Hard to do
    Tom Jones It’s Not Unusual
Frankie Lymon Why do Fools Fall In Love
    Smokey Ooo, Baby, Baby
    Lionel Richie Hello
Hall and Oates No Can Do
    Linda Rondstadt Blue Bayou
    Patsy Cline Crazy
Willie Nelson On the Road Again
    Roy Orbison Pretty Woman
Captain and Tennille Love will Keep Us Together
    Carly Simon You’re so Vain
    Carole King Natural Woman
    Petula Clark Downtown
Peggy Lee Is That All There Is
James Taylor You’ve Got a Friend
    Johnny Mathis Misty
Sammy Davis Mr. Bojangles or What Kind of Fool Am I?
Luther Vandross A House is not a Home
5th Dimension Up, Up and Away
    Marilyn McCoo Wedding Bell Blues
    Chicago 25 or 6 to 4
    Garland Over the Rainbow
Liza Minnelli New York New York

Gladys Knight Midnight Train to Georgia
Ray Charles Georgia on my Mind
    Sam Cooke You Send Me
