The Winner by Coolio has a reference to Michael:

    If Albert was an Einstein
    and Phillis was a Diller
and Michael Jackson was a thriller
then you could be a winner
"Let's not be alone again. Will you be my partner? I hear a dance starting up. Come."

I can see the hip hop community respect Michael for the most part, unlike that jerk Eminem.

Ye also mentions Michael (sort of) on Lost In The World, he does the "mamma say mama saw" thing from Wanna Be.

Jay Z also in Magna Carta 'Illest nigga alive, Michael Jackson Thriller'.

There's a few references on the Watch The Throne album. I know one of them was something like "RIP to the leader of the Jackson 5'.

When did Prince write this song? I always thought he supposedly rose above their "artistic rivalry."

Just thought of another one. This one is from the song JET!!! by J-Pop group Dreams Come True.

    (starts at the 4:13 mark)

    jikoshin neraesou
    MU-NWO-KU sae dekisou
(I may set a new personal best
I think I could even do the moonwalk)
"Let's not be alone again. Will you be my partner? I hear a dance starting up. Come."

    Do the D-A-N-C-E
    1, 2, 3, 4, fight
    Stick to the B-E-A-T
    Get ready to ignite
    You were such a P-Y-T

That's how you make it right
