~ Synopsis ~

Michael was driving home from a tough studio session one day.
He wished he could just escape this world.
Always be careful what you wish for or it might come true...

Part One

It was almost dawn at around 5 AM and I decided to call it a day.
I refused a ride home and insisted I needed to air.
I had to promise, I would be carefull. That was my intention really!
I would come home to an empty bed so no one would wait and
sit up for me, right?

I suddenly remembered I had a quarrel with my lady today or
was it yesterday?
I never was any good with keeping tabs on days and hours, duh!
She just took off and I all I could do was go to work.
Now, I dreaded to go home...
I wished she would be there so I could fall asleep in her arms but
that was just wishfull thinking on my part.

I got into my jeep and started the drive home. I was glad the road was quiet.
The music session was still resonating in my brain.
I was still humming the tunes,
hoping my Muse would somehow remember it all.

So, I drove on the driveway lost in thoughts but
still keeping an eye on the road too.
Yep, multitasking, LOL! Suddenly, my jeep began to rock...

I snapped out of my bliss and even my Muse went on mute.
I tried not to crash the car and end up as a headliner in the news.
I parked my jeep at the side of the road and looked into my rearview mirror.
It was save to come out, indeed! I walked around it and noticed I had a flat.
I cursed a little why I had been so stubborn to drive home alone now.
I glanced around to see if anyone could help but nah...

The road seemed deserted and
only the yellow line that divided the road in two stared at me.
It made me sigh... What was I gonna do now? Call for help?

I got out my cell and no matter at what angle I held it,
I seemed to not have any reception here...
Strange really! I felt a chill taking master of me as I felt the morning air.
Dawn was on its way and a white fog appeared caressing me.
Did it now whisper?

'Take me... Take me...' Nah, couldn't be...
I was just imagining it, right? I was tired...
exhausted really and my brain was playing with me now...
Something or even someone was calling out for me though and
yeash, curiousity killed the cat as they say!
I walked on and somehow didn't realize I was now caught in the mist.
The only way was ahead, was it?

I noticed a figure there in the distance.
My flight or fight system switced on automatically.
I wanted to see who she was but my brain told me to be careful really.
I neared her and noticed it was a girl dressed in white.
She had golden hair like the sunshine.
She reached out her hand to me and whispered:
"Don't be afraid. I'll take you there."

'Where? ' My brain freaked out.
'Where are we supposed to go? ' My heart fretted.
My body was numb really and before I realized it, she lead me on.
'Where are we going exactly? ' I thought puzzled.
Had I somehow falling asleep in the car?

I inspected myself. No Blood, no broken bones, note even a tear in my shirt.
The mist was engulfing us and her soft hand made
any resistance futile really...

The mist seemed to clear up now as I was still holding the hand of
the angel that 'saved' me. I looked down at my feet and
noticed the ground between me. It was a gravel path.
'Where is the road? ' My brain fretted at me
but I didn't have the answer yet as I looked at the path like I had never seen it or
was I trying to locate where I was?
Did the road home had a gravel path after all or
had I never noticed it driving the car speeding home?

The lady only smiled at me and squeezed my hand.
I felt like I was still in limbo. My feet just automatically walked.
My heart still was wrapped in her love or was it 'trapped' now?
'Where are we going again? Where is your bloody car?
You were supposed to go home! '

My brain fretted at me but all I could do was 'ignore' it cause WOW...
What place was this? A town before me doomed up.
Why had I never seen it before?

Flowers were surrounded by trees and
beautiful southern style mansions doomed up with perfect trimmed front lawns.
My brain kept fretting but I was much too in awe over this place
I never seen before. The mist had totally cleared up as I looked up,
I only saw blue sky!

As we walked past the first beautiful homes,
folks started to pass us by and only smiled and nodded like
I was some 'welcomed' visitor to their town or 'utopia' cause
it seemed like plucked out of a fairy tale book.

I rubbed my eye with my left hand that was still free cause
somehow I was still holding her hand. It felt warm and calming.
I briefly glanced at her cause
gentleman don't gawk or stare at a beautiful girl like this.

"Are you okay, Sir? " She only asked.
Like, I felt busted for even glancing at her,
I hung my head down and only nodded 'yeash'.

Then, I noticed the gravel had taken on a more solid form for road now and
curious like a toddler on its first day out, I peered around.

Men were lounging in deck chairs while women watering the flowers.
Kids were playing in the front yard with their toys or even whizzing
by on their bikes. It felt wierd but still save or was she holding me into a 'fix'.
I didn't dare to let go of her hand. What if I saw where I really was now?
I must have crashed my car and this was 'heaven' somehow.
They say, your loved one or a family member comes to 'pick you up' , right?
Did I know her?

I peeked at her briefly. I didn't recognize her though!
We arrived at a house. Hers maybe?

I was reculant to let go of her hand now though she insisted it was okay.
I did pinch my eyes shut fearing that this 'dream' would just evaporate now.
It was only when she took my hand again,
that I dared to open my eyes and move my feet again.

"You must be tired, Mister?" She only spoke as she led me into her home.
Curious, I peered around and it seemed like a scene out of a romantic movie,
full of curtains with roses and lace. Old fashioned wallpaper.
It looked like I had gone back in time. Oh, no time!

Where the hell was I in the first place?

"Won't you take a seat in the sofa? " She offered.
I took her offer as I plunged into the sofa like
I was just visiting an old friend of mine.
How endearing this all looked and felt,
my brain was doing me head in and it made me shiver.
Why was I here? Where was here? Why wasn't I home yet or was this home?

Her soft angelic voice pierced through my thoughts as
she asked if wanted coffee?
"Yeash, thanks Miss" I only replied. She left me there alone as
she must have trotted off to the kitchen.
I noticed family pics on a mahony table next to me and smiled at the picture.
In that instant, I thought of my girl and how I screwed it up yesterday.
She wanted to go out to some play or whatever but
I fretted I need to work and finish this album cause
the record company was nagging about it and
I didn't wanna disappoint my fans. I could see it hurted her but
my fans are like part of me and that I know she would never understand but
I told her she had to take it all if she wanted to be part of my life.
I loved her dearly but no one would come in between my fans and I. No one!

Once again, she ripped my thoughts apart as
she plunged down a tray with two beautiful antique cups.
It seemed like a shame to drink out of them but
she was so kind to invite me into her home that
I carefully took mine and sipped from it.
Next to her cup of coffee lay scones so nice and scrumptious.
"Take one! " She insisted as she saw my glare.
"Thank you, Miss! " I answered polite and enjoyed eating one...
No a few though.

With my tummy full of scones swimming in a sea of coffee, I dozed off.
I know, coffee is supposed to keep you awake but
it always made me sleepy though.
"It's okay, let go..." I heard her say and the touch of her hand on
my forehead made it okay.
Could be the memory that my sweetheart used to put me asleep like that?

I stirred a little as I noticed she laid a blanket on me but
I only snuggled in it and fell asleep eventually.

Finally, I woke up in the sofa. I yawned and stretched myself.
Was it a noise? A smell or just my brain waking me now?

"Well, hello back" I heard a soft voice calling out to me.
It made me shudder. Why had I fallen asleep in the sofa?
Someone's sofa!

I glanced around still dazed from sleeping and she came sitting next to me.
She smelled so wonderful and all I could do was smile at her.
"It's okay, it seemed you needed that nap, hey? "
I rubbed my left eye and only nodded suppressing another yawn again.
"You must be hungry now? "

I only nodded again and tried to free myself from the borrowed blanket.
I checked out my clothes. I had them on when I drove home, right?
"Here, I made you a ham and cheese sandwich! "
She shoved a plate in my lap with two white slices of bread that
were diced in a triangle.
"Thanks" I acted startled and my stomach insisted to eat it anyway.
"You need another coffee to wake up, Sir too? " she asked me.

"Oh, I'm Tracey Malden.
Sorry for not introducing myself earlier but you fell asleep in the sofa.
I managed to blush before I told her my name was Michael Jackson.
It made me cringe in a little cause I thought for a moment
she would freak out as she gawked at me and then she glanced at the TV.
She shook her head 'no'. I did gawk at the TV too.
Wow, where did she find such an antique model, really?
"It can't be..." she reacted baffled.

"You're not that little boy I saw last week on the Ed Sullivan show, are you? "
She showed me how big he was with her hand but
her smile melted my heart really.
I didn't know what to answer. I didn't dare to move honestly.
Why didn't I just say my name was Mike or Jack or any random name.
I was stuck here in a house of probably a fan and
what year were here exactly?

I only shrugged and bravenly asked her what town
I ended up in and what day we were?
I was puzzled as I peeked at her interior and that antique TV.
"Oh, this is a place with no name... I know, I think its a lame name too.
Everyone just blinks when you tell them and
they expect a more decent name, huh! "
"No, I don't mind... It sounds mysterious really! "
"You like it then? " She asked smiling.
"Well, you've been so nice to me.
Why shouldn't I like it and a name is just a name, right? "

"Indeed" she nodded confident.
"Oh, we're December 20th already"
"Are we? " I asked puzzled and tried to remember
what day we were yesterday.
I know, I'm terrible with dates but I never forget a melody.
It seemed as if I was a little disorientated though as
vulnerable I looked around the room.
The walls seemed to close upon me now as I clutched my blanket.
"I think you need another coffee" she stated and leaped from the sofa.

"Tea! "I yelled in despair.
"I'd rather have a cup of tea. Coffee makes me sleepy! "
I fretted as I didn't want to fall asleep now.
Oh, they are gonna love it really when I tell them where I ended up now.
Wait! Did I know the way back? Was I trapped here in...
'OMG! ' My brain screamed. 'She didn't mean 1969, right?
Or was it a re run she saw or a classic video or dvd?'

I tried to locate another 'technological' device but
the more I focused the more exhausted I became.
"Here! " she offered. "That will calm you down! "
I hesistantly took the warm cup with the handpainted periwinkles in my hands.

"It's camomille, dear! I won't hurt you! " She insisted.
I sipped from it and indeed the tea soothed my nerves
on the brink of falling apart.
She only smiled at me sipping from her coffee.

~ Intro ~
Escaping your world is one thing but
you always have to remember
you can't escape your destiny.
We all have a mission here.

sleepMJ_zps484f415a.jpg

The tea relaxed me indeed though my brain was still fretting to go 'home' but
somehow my heart wanted to stay. It didn't feel any danger so...

"Would you like to take a stroll in town? " She asked me gently.
I looked up to her and
maybe she could read my fear cause
she swallowed as she insisted to take me home asap.
Pure out of habit or was I finally listening to my ever nagging brain,

I took out my cell and with a pain in my heart, glanced at it.
It had a piccie of my girlfriend on the display.
Would she miss me now? Was this a dream? Was I really here?

It all seemed real, right?
I know she tried not to gawk at me but she did look puzzled.
With a voice loaded with sorrow, I stated:
"I suppose that cell phones don't work here, hey?
So, I can't even call for help? " It made me sigh.
'Be carefull what you wish for or it might come true' my brain told me.

"I'm sorry, I really am..." she began.
"I didn't mean to drag you all the way here but..." she stopped and
as I looked at her,
I saw the tears trickling out of her eyes and rolling down her cheeks.
"I'm sorry, excuse me..." she fretted as she got up and
left for another room.

What was I supposed to do now?
Stay put here and leave her in her turmoil or
be the gentleman and offer my comfort?
Minutes passed and my brain and heart were having WW3
inside my head so to shut them up,

I got up and headed out of the room to look if she was okay?
I found her sobbing at the kitchen sink.
"Miss? Mrs. Malden? Trace? "
She looked up and for a moment, I saw a smile but
then she let her head hung again as
I must have 'triggered' something.

Oh, the piccie in the livingroom must have been her family maybe
he called her 'Trace' ?
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry though, Ma'am."
"Oh, Michael" she cried and exactly fled into my arms.
I was a little baffled indeed but I did hug her and rub her back.
"It's okay now, I'm here now" I said cuddling her.

She tried to be brave as she let go of me and
then like a news reporter babbling about the recent horrific event
she told me that this here was a timeloop and that
they could only 'escape' to the new world after sunset but
they had to be back before dawn as the loop closed
when the sun came up.
"We had a fight that faithful night as I told him that
he couldn't take James to the new world but
James was so excited already that
he didn't want to hurt and disappoint him.
He did promise me to be back before dawn..."
"They got trapped in the new world, right? " I only asked.
She only nodded at first fretting at her blouse trying not
to burst into tears again.

"I can search for them if you take me back before dawn."
"You can leave at sunset. The loop opens then..."
she only answered and straightened her blouse and
got out a tissue to blow her nose.
"You want to stay with me tonite? "
She asked and then blushed at her request.
"Of course" I replied with no BAD intent at all.
"Come here, you need a hug" I insisted and
she nestled her head in my shoulder.

So, we talked some more just to ease her brain and mine.
It felt good to just chat without being gawked at or even
I wouldn't have to find out that she sold her story
for a million bucks or so. For once, I felt save and to me,
it felt like a bitter sweet feeling to exactly have to leave her but
then one glance at her family piccies and
I know I couldn't be selfish and hide here for the rest of my life.

In the convo, she asked me about my girl too.
My voice cracked a little when I showed her
the piccie living in my wallet.
Tears welled in my eyes when I told her that
we had a fight that day before I left for work and
I just wished somehow I would end up in 'someplace else'
instead of home.
So be careful what you wish for hey or it might come true.
"

Aren't you tired yet? " She asked supressing a yawn noticing
it was already 1 AM.
Once she said it, the gawn broke through.
"Me? " I patted my hand on my chest.
"Nah, I could go days without sleep!"
She yawned deep and hard again and excused herself.
No manners for a lady, hey!
"Oh, I'm sorry..." I excused myself suddenly remembering
I was the gentleman in all this.
"I don't want to keep you up, Hun.
I better catch some zzzz too hey before I pop back to 99."
"99? " She gasped.

"Oh, yeah... We're December 99.
I just came back from a studio session.
I'm recording a new album. See, I could go on and on and
I'm terrible sorry, I'm keeping you up really. "
"It's... Ooookay... Michael" She replied yawning in between.
"Let me show you the guest room."

Silently, I went upstairs with her and
it was a nice and comfy room indeed.
Big wooden closet and cosy high bed to sleep in.
When she almost left as she was at the door again giving me
some privacy I suppose, I called out to her.

"Would you mind staying with me till I fall asleep, please? "
I blushed.
"Sure, hun" she said and plunged into a seat next to the bed.
Reluctantly, I crawled into bed and just pulled off my shirt.
I did insist that she should wake me before dawn cause then
I could go home and look up her family.

Would I find them? Would they remember her?
Why didn't they come back the next day?
Was 99 better than good ole 69?
There was something wrong here, right?
Then, why did I feel so save here?

It made her smile the way he driffted off to sleep all bundled up like baby.
For a minute, she wanted him to stay cause
it did cross her mind to 'why he never returned to her'.
'He's so beautiful asleep' spoke her heart.

Indeed, his black curls adorned his face and
his soft breathing put her asleep too.

Of course, it reminds her of her hubby or
is it just having someone to talk to?
Why did he have to take their son to the new world hey?
I know, she could have gone looking for them but
she didn't dare to walk or even run out of the mist.
She just stood there every dawn awaiting her lost loves that
never came back in all these years.

Then, this gentleman popped up and all she could do was help him cause
he seemed in turmoil though!
Has faith finally answered her call?

Startled, she awoke from the first rays of sunlight hitting her face.
All crampy, she stretched herself and
then realized she had fallen asleep in the armchair in the guest room.
She looked over to her 'Prince charming'...
Oh, so peacefully asleep!

It would be such a shame to exactly wake him and
'choo' him out of her house and life with
the 'mission' to look for her 'runaway' husband and son.
If they had aged in the new world,
her son would be 35 by now instead
of 5 and then what?
Where would she go from here, hey?
One more day here would not hurt him, right?

Something woke me up...
Was it the fact that my stomach was howling for food or that
the neon sign in my brain blinked 'FULL',
that would have been the one of my bladder now.

Dazed, I opened my eyes and there she stood smiling at me.
It startled me a bit as I grabbed the blanket for support.
Was she my girlfriend?

Nah, she would have been in bed now waking up beside me
in her silk white nighty snuggling against me.
How much I loved that girl,
I'm not really into that 'clingy' type at all.
I had a life too and responsibilities and
a girl was not gonna mess that up.

Still a bit sleepdrunk, I sat up up and peered around the room.
Was that mine? Had the decorators come over night?
Had I somehow won a 60 minute make over of my bedroom?
I frowned my forehead trying to wrap my head around it and
then she babbled.
I didn't understand a word she said.
Well, I understand the language but not what it meant though...

"I'm sorry, Michael... I didn't wake ye'.
You were so beautifully asleep.
It would have been such a shame to wake you.
Won't you stay another day? "
'Me stay another day? ' My brain fretted.

Where the hell was I now?
In someone else dream or even nightmare?
The blanket felt real and soft though.
I checked what I was wearing. My clothes?
Since when did I sleep with my clothes on?
The neon light in my brain 'flashed' FULL again and
so I had to get up and find a bathroom fast.
There was one in the corridor I found,
just in time or I would have peed in my pants really.

I was still trying to figure out what the hell I was doing here.
Who was she?
I still remembered I was Michael, was I?

Puzzled, I came out in the hall way again and
just found my way down the stairs.
It was a cosy place though.
Something that 'oozed' that HOME feeling out
of every pore in that cottage.

"Please have breakfast with me? " She pleaded and
still dazed I took a seat on her wooden table decorated with
flowers and a breakfast that belonged to a five star hotel!
I was too hungry to even fret at it and
I ate like I hadn't eaten anything in a week.
It made her smile and all she commented was...
"More Tea, dear? "
I only nodded and with a full tummy,
I suddenly realized what happened to me.
I was torn for a moment. This was Bliss, right?

"We could go into town, Michael or would you like to stay in? "
She boldy asked me as she sipped from her coffee.
It didn't drag me out of my flood of thoughts.
I could get used to this.
It had been ages since I had breakfast at a kitchen table though and
a lady 'fussing' over me was a 'welcome' bonus.
Somehow, this creepy feeling rippled through me.
This was a vivid dream, right?

I tried to strain my brain to remember the order of events and
to why I was enjoying bread
- tasted like home made to me- in someone's kitchen.

All, I could remember was the mist and her.
She had golden hair that flowed perfectly along her face.
She wore a flowery dress now and
as I checked her out her tuss was the right size.
I really hope she wouldn't catch my vibe now as
she was standing with her back to me just
doing the dishes now.I was speechless right now and
I simply didn't want this Bliss to end.

I so wanted to be just Michael enjoying a nice cuppa tea and
some bread and jam.

~ Intro ~

The morning after is when peeps start missing you.
So, do they go looking for you or just wait till you return?
Was Michael exactly trapped there now or could he just leave?

dreamingMJ_zps552f573c.jpg

Michael's cell should have rang or even vibrated but
it was nicely tucked into the pocket of jeans while
he was still on that kitchen table 'lost' in that
'fantasy' he was living in now.

"And? " The producer asked in distress.
"He is not picking up his phone! All I get is a 'busy' tone.
You sure, you haven't said or done something wrong last night or
even morning for all that matters? "
The guard on the line fretted.
"Well, he left at around 5 AM insisting to drive home.
What was I supposed to do?
Take his hand and drag him to my car?
He's not object of value, you know? He's a grown a$$ man! "
The producer snapped at him.
"He didn't come home though.
I could call around and see if he's bunking with family or friends but
it looks like we're not respecting his privacy, right?
What was his mood when he left? "
"He was tired. Still hyped up.
I figured he would be okay and not do something stupid really! "
"What 'you mean by 'stupid' ? " The guard asked worried.
"Nah, He wouldn't do a thing like that.
Well, he broke up with his girlfriend and
he quit the session cause he claimed he couldn't concentrate and
needed 'to air', whatever that meant."
"I won't go calling people just yet cause
you know before you know it, it would be headline news and
we don't need that, do we? "
"I know... I know" the guard answered.
"We'll give him 48 hours maybe he just needs to air as he said.
You know, he has secret 'hide outs' where he can chill."
"Okay, We'll give him 48 hours then. Bye William."
"Okay, talk to you laters, Mr. Jones.
If you hear him in the meantime, gimme a call allright? "
"Sure thang, Sir" he finally said before he hung up. It made him sigh.
He wished it was just an 'excape' as Mr. Jackson had done it before.
He just hoped he was somewhere save, that's all.

Back in 1969...
"So, what 'you wanna do today? " She asked me as she turned around.
Her hands were covered in foam and
she just wiped them off on her kitchen towel.
"I.... " I snapped out of my thoughts and tried to get up.
I swear there must have been glue on my chair somehow or
body was reacting quite strange to this place here.
Maybe, I shouldn't have eaten or drank anything here.
Well, buster! It was too late for that now!

"I'm really sorry you're stuck here another day...
I hope they don't really miss you back in what year
do you say... You are from? "
I rubbed my forehead like I had just heard the most awful news.
"99 " I only uttered at first and then it dawned on me.
I'm sure someone must have noticed that I was 'missing' by now!
She came sitting on the table just the chair left from me.
Clutching and squeezing her kitchen towel, she babbled on.
"You were so sound asleep. I couldn't just kick you out the door, right?
I didn't want you to get lost.
You're save here till you can return. I checked the calender.
The sun sets at around 5 PM so I'll take you back...
I hope your car is still there so you don't have to walk home."
"When does the sun rise here? "
"Let's see" she got up and checked the calender on the wall.
"That would be around 7 Am."
"Okay then, maybe it would be better if
I just pop back a quarter or
even 10 minutes to 7 cause then
you say the mist clears up at sunrise?"
"Yeah, the portal closes at 6:55 AM now.
You want to protect us, do you? You're ever so kind!
I've been ever so stupid to drag you into my life here!
For a moment,
I thought you were my husband but then
when I lead you into the mist, you didn't let go...
Why didn't you? "

I only sighed. That was the million $$$ question now was it?
"I think it's best we stay home today!
I don't want the neighbours gossiping about you, really! "
Vulnerable, I looked up at her.
See, Bliss really doesn't excist for me, doesn't it?
Torn, I drank the last of my tea.
Somehow, it tasted bitter now instead of sweet a moment ago.
I had to go back to 99, right?
I wasn't ready for it though. I felt 'burnt out',
trapped and in need for an escape.
Was this just another trap I had fallen into?
Was it better that I just took on a different identity here?
I couldn't do that to my kids, my family, my fans?
Did anyone know I was missing already?
I looked up and only saw her caring face as she smiled at me.

"I'm sorry" I collected myself and dragged my body to my feet.
"I'm keeping you up here. You're not late for work because of me? "
"I... don't have... a job" she hesitatingly revealed.
"My husband is an accountant. I'm living up all our savings now.
I just don't know..."
she sighed as she plunged down on the chair.
She seemed defeated too.
All, I could do was take a seat on that chair too again
to listen to her turmoil.

"Is he gone long now? "
She didn't answer as she was squeezing the life out
of her kitchen towel.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry but talking helps, you know.
At least, if you have someone that wants to listen to you."
"It's been years already. I lost count!
I don't even know why I wait for him anymore?
I have no reason to believe that he would just leave me and
take James with him."

Suddenly, it seemed my problems were not so tough anymore
cause of what she was enduring now.
I was fretting about my happiness but
hers was just 'snatched' away from her, just like that...
SNAP...

"You still want me to look for them? " I quietly asked her.
She only shrugged and then reached out her hand touching mine.
"I just want you to be save" She changed the subject.
"I'm curious to know how 99 is like... is the world a better place? "
She asked hopeful.
What shall I tell her, hey?
A white big fat lie to ease her mind or
condemn her to stay living her?
The world was not a better place though!
"I don't wanna pry too, Michael"
she answered as I might have taken too long to respond.
"I don't know, Hun. I always try to see everything in a positive way and
I write songs to uplift people's mood but
it seems like it doesn't do me any good.
Well, not how I feel right now though." I hung my head down.
"Maybe, you need a break? Go on holiday or something? "

"Yeah" I smirked.
"Time off and I are not the best of friends.
I am what people call a 'workaholic'.
Well, that was the last she said to me...
All you ever care for is that damn studio. Well, go then..."
"Did you? "
"What?" I asked after a minute of reflection.
"Go to that damn studio? "
"Well, I had too" I snapped at her. " She just got up and left.
I tried to talk it out and explain that is what a man is supposed to do.
You go to work, studio or office or even factory..."
I sighed and took a deep breath to continue my rant.
"Just so you can keep her by your side and
buy her nice things and stuff.
Money doesn't grow on trees, right? "
She chuckled at my seriousness.
"Nope, it doesn't. I would plant my whole yard, if it does though!"
I looked up to her and smiled.
Was she all I ever dreamt of?

Her witty talk... Her beautiful smile...
The way her golden hair caressed her face.
Nah, too good to be true really!
"So..."
she said all perked up as she jumped from her chair.
"What shall we do today?
Go shopping or just a nice stroll in town?
It's not fair to keep you here locked up is it? "
"Yeah" I jumped from my chair. "Shopping would be nice! "
"Okay, I'll get my coat then! "

In the meantime, William had found his car with
a flat stranded on the side of the road.
He parked his car behind it and checked out the abandonned vehicle.
No sign of blood anywhere but no sign of Michael either.
What should he do now? Call the cops?
Start a search?
He must have walked on in search for help?
Why didn't he call?
He checked his phone and there were no messages from his Boss but
his inbox was 'overflowing' with other messages.
Suddenly, it seemed everyone was 'missing' him now.
How convenient, hey?
He didn't answer them.
Why should he take the heat of it all anyway?
He would do the same, you know!

Diseappear for a few days and experience the 'real' life!
Then, his phone rang and automatically he picked up cause
it could have been Michael on someone else phone though but
it was the producer again, asking that same 'lame' question.
He had to come up with a 'lame' plan, right?
So, he fibbed that Michael was ill and needed a few days off.
Well, that didn't go well though.
He started ranting about the rent of the studio and
the deadline they were facing and
his responsibility and stuff he simply didn't wanna hear so
he did the 'brave' thing by 'disconnecting' him.
Way to go, William!
He had to find him, right?

As soon as possible and the key was here...
If he could only track his footsteps now, hey?
Maybe, he had to come back at around 5 AM and
see where he went from there cause
no one seemed to care about an abandoned car at
the side of the road though.
The world these days, hey?

I tried to 'act' like it was just a 'normal' thing to do 'go shopping' but
I couldn't 'temper' my excitement for much longer as I gawked at
everything dislayed there like I had never shopped before.

"Exactly, how famous are you back in 99?"
She whispered in my ear when we were standing in the pop aisle.
It seemed as if I had never seen that much pop and juice before.
"Huuuh" I squinted around afraid of a sworn of fans all of sudden.
"Is there a thing called too famous? "
I pulled on my cap even further to shield my eyes.
"Awww" she only reacted as she noticed my scared glare.
"Well, you're save here. Everybody knows the little MJ so...
You can chill" she assured me.
She put on that smile that just melted in my heart.
How could I ever leave her?
Oh, Gee! What was happening to me now?

"You okay? " She asked when I just stood there frozen.
"Yeah" I nodded.
"So, what's your fave pop or juice or
are you more of a tea or even beer person? "
"I'm a tea person and also a pop person"
I answered as serious as I could and it made her chuckle.
It made me smile too.
Do people exactly say it like that?
"Can I have this? " I asked her like a toddler.
"Sure, Hun."
It made me smile the way she said it as
I dumped my fave pop in it.
I felt like it was Christmas somehow as
I got to chose everything in every aisle we wheeled in.
Getting fed up with my 'Can I have this?' question,
she took pity in me and commented:
"You're my friend. Stop asking me stuff, okay! "
"Okay, sorry! " I blushed.
"Besides, men in 69 'wear' the trousers instead here! "
She claimed.
"Wow, I can't believe how the customs have changed in
30 something years... Do you have any say at all? "
"I do" I pouted.
"I'm just too nice and humble and maybe
that's why she dumped me.
Maybe she wants a 69 guy, hey? "
It made her crack up in laughter and
I'm sure we were attracting attention but for some reason,
I didn't care cause they didn't knew WHO I was right?

For once, it felt good!
I was plain and simple 'Michael' here and
not an 'object of value and admiration' , duh!
I'm sure we spend a fortune in that store and the check out lady thought
we're stocking up for the worst coming Winter storm ever but
I loved the whole 'normal' thing about it.
Proudly, I wheeled the cart to her car and
insisted to unload it all in her trunk.
She hesitated but the look in my eye made her give in.

In all honesty,
I was exhausted when I crawled into the car after
she asked if
I didn't need any help after all.
She really had to muffle her laugh and
did insist on driving home then.
Yup, home it was with the 'groceries' I bought.
Well, she paid for it though!

"So, how was your first shopping trip? "
She asked me on the way home.
"Exhausting! " I called out.
"You do that every week, right? "
"Yep, we do! " She chuckled.
"I'm sure, you have staff to do this if
you're 'too famous' as you said.
You don't act that way though."
"Well, thanks" I nodded polite.
"I'm "humble too famous" then"
I blushed in her presence.
"I thought it didn't mix humbleness vs too famous? "
She boldly spoke gripping her steering wheel.
"Well, you see. I'm different"
I revealed playing with my hands.
She briefly watched what I was doing and
then got her eye on the road again.

"I like different! "
She said after a minute of silence.
"I like you! " I babbled out and
I could see her hands tremble on her wheel.
Well, that was a smart thing to say while driving, right?
Silly boy! I did like her though!
"Me too! "
She said trying to keep her eye on the road.
"I'm sure you have many woman 'courting' you! "
It made me sigh.
Was I such a woman magnet and
that word 'courting' sounded so wrong, really!

"I'm sorry, Michael"
she excused herself when I remained silent.
"I have to confess sometimes."
"I know, Sweetie..." she only replied.
"I know, you don't belong in 69 but
I hate to see you leave early tomoz."
She gawked at her clock.
"What? " I picked up her vibe.
"Whennn... did youuuu wannaaaa... leave? "
She almost swallowed her words.

"Never! "
I boldly answered as she turned the car and stopped.
I looked up in fear of
'oh oh, I overstayed my welcome now' but
I noticed we were home or
at least she was as her car was parked on her driveway.
"I know, Hun! " She sighed.
"You still wanna help me unload the stuff? "
"Sure" I called out and got out of the car.
As soon as I got out,

I heard my name call...
I first thought it was her wanting me to carry
the brown bags indoors but then he touched me.
"There you are! " he called out.
It really startled me cause I felt busted!
What was I doing here anyway, hey?
This Bliss is not really meant for me, is it?
I did try to act cool cause we're in 69, hey and
Men wear the ' trousers' here so...
"Hello William! " I coldbloodly replied.
It seemed to freeze him too as
he drew his hand from my shoulder and then
noticed the girl beside the car.

"Oh, hello Mrs. ? "
"Call me Tracey! " She insisted.
"You look like a bodyguard, do you? "
She boldly stated and bended over in her trunk to get out her groceries.
William was stuck in time or was he struck of her beauty?

'She's mine' my heart fretted.
"Let me help with this, love?"
I offered my help as gentleman do.
People don't stop and stare in 69, okay!
"Thanks" she said.
She gave the key though so I could open the door and
we carried the groceries in leaving 'the bodyguard' stranded there.
He was still stuck on the pavement though
when we got out for the rest of the bags.

"Won't you come in, William? "
I offered feeling at ease there already.
"Oh, okay! "He snapped out of his trance.
'She's pretty! ' He whispered in my ear and
I whispered back to 'act like a gentleman'.
It made him blush and once we let go of the groceries...

He politely introduced himself to her.
She assured him,
she was taking good care over me and
it made him only smile.
William admired how Michael and
the woman were doing 'usual' slave stuff and
it seemed like Michael was already 'living' there as
he opened all the closets and drawers to put the stuff away.

"You bought this all?
You planning on staying here, right? "
He suddenly flapped out.
Both stopped and looked at each other but
were lost for words. Was it that obvious?
"

Well, I can only leave just before dawn"
I boldly stated and grabbed the pop and
popped it in the fridge.
Warm cola is horrible to drink anyway!
"I see you get into the loop? "
I continued my bragging as I closed the huge fridge.
"Loop? I found your car with a flat.
It was around dusk and suddenly a mist doomed up so
I thought you got lost in it.
I worried about you, Michael.
I fibbed for you! Jones is pissed beyond anything! "
He spat out his mind too.
"I know" I snapped back.
"Thanks for sticking up for me!
I was gonna leave at dawn today but
I overslept so why shouldn't I have a good day.
You know, William..."
I continued my rant.
"You know...
How it feels to be a grown man and
never have set foot in a grocery store without being mobbed? "
William only sighed and
looked kinda guilty at him.
"Besides, I was gonna leave at dawn.
Well, a few minutes before it or I'm stuck here another day... "
I told him boldly.
"Which, I wouldn't mind after all though" I quickly added.
"Can you leave now, Michael? "
"NOW? " I yelled and my face shrieked really.
I didn't know how to say goodbye really.
The plan was I would 'sneak' out of her house though and
leave her a 'love letter' I would be back,
that was all.
Always someone that screws up your plan, right?
"

Well at least, you can have dinner with us, William"
she offered to clear up the air.
"I suppose I can"
he only answered as he saw me leave for the livingroom.
I could hear them whisper and
exhange words and worries but I was 'wallowing' really.
I plunged into her sofa defeated.

How could I really leave her?
Break her heart like her hubby did?
Leave her here all alone? Nah, I couldn't do that!
I could take her to 99 and take care of her or
I could just stay here with her?
I was just a fool in love again, right?

"Take me Part Four"
Written by Daz, Inspired by MJ.

Everyone was worried about Michael.
Had the 'loop lag' really caused this 'distortion' in him?
Was he just 'lovesick' and 'lonely' without her?

FFpiccie4_zps1147f471.jpg

Well, William did succeed to 'drag' Michael back though but
was it the right thing to do?
Now, he is just miserable really and he seemed so happy there.
William now regretted it though
but even the Mrs. let him go.
He was so sound asleep when he took him back to 99 and
now William just felt torn.
Did he have the right to steal him away from her?
She obviously cared for him like no one else did before?
Mr. Jackson didn't really seemed pleased too.
He was just fed up with the way people treat him here but
what could he do, hey?

The producer called again,
demanding him back in the studio but
William snatched the phone out of his hands and
just boldly claimed Michael is still ill, period.
Just deal with it, okay?
He insisted he needs some time off.
Of course, the producer slammed the horn down during
the rant of why now and
we got the rent of the studio and stuff like that.
One look in his eye and William's heart broke.
What was the right thing to do now? Do you know?

Well, he's out of sorts really,
refuses any food, just wants to sleep!
Awww, poor Michael really!

The only thing William can think of is to call Gaz.
A dear friend from the UK and
he would sure 'talk some sense' into him or
just 'listen' to him cause William wants what is right for
Michael too but it just doesn't 'click' that way between them.
Michael thinks he's just 'bossing' him around so that is his plan...
Call Gaz for help!

The only thing left to do was
push the phone in Michael's hands and
hope for a miracle now.
Okay, the contents of this phonecall will not be told as
it's private but William did see it perked up his Boss and
it made him smile though.

Dusk settled in and I was eager to go see her.
I hope I wouldn't have too much trouble leaving my own house.
I know, my OWN house and I felt like a 'prisoner' here!
I just wanted out and as soon as possible too!
I popped into the nursery where Trick was playing and
the nanny was watching him.
It felt more like she was 'guarding' him and
I really wanted to take him with me tonite.
By the way, we were Friday today so
I wanted to plan a weekend.
If it was only that easy, hey?

"Hello there" she called out to me.
"Hi" I only sighed and then my boy noticed me and
came crashing into me.
I wholeheartedly hugged him and
he made everything alright in that moment.
She glanced at me and I knew she worried and cared but
maybe the look in my eye made her swallow her words as
she only smiled and walked off. It only made me sigh.
I wished I could explain my dilema to him,
not that he would understand it but anyway,
he wouldn't fret and hurl stuff at me that
would leave me heartbroken and crying.
I'm sure he felt how much in turmoil I was cause
with pride he showed me his favorite car and
he made me snap out of my 'pity party'.
Kids hey? They are wonderful really!

Morning broke as the first sun rays hit my face and
eventually woke me up.
Puzzled, I tried to orientate myself.
Had I fallen asleep again?
When and how?
I did recall having fun with Trick and
putting him asleep 'save and sound'.
I realized, it would not be 'easy' to take him with me as
the 'loop' only opened when he lay sound asleep.
I know, I could have just bundled him up and
escape into the night!
I wondered now why I had fallen asleep here and
the instant I realized I was still HOME,
my mood sank to the bottom of the ocean.
Was I really trapped here?

With a sigh and moan, I got up and
decided to check upon him.
The nanny was suprised to see me.
Yeah, I admit...
She never saw me at dawn though.
I am not a morning person and I think she had gotten so
used to have him -yeah, my son-
all to herself in the morning that
she felt 'busted' somehow by my appearance.
I desperately needed that 'pick me up' as
a 'reason' to stay here after all.

I mean,
I just couldn't sit in my jeep by the side of the road and
wait till the mist appeared so
she could take me again.
I had a life here and responsibilities and you know...
I'm really not of the 'nagging' kind but
I was getting fed up with the way people treatened me here
and still they claimed they loved and cared for me.
Sure, huh!

"Morning Michael"
"Good morning" I only uttered and
I saw that expression in her face.
There was indeed something really wrong with me, right?
I was never that moody really.
Sometimes, enough is enough okay!
"You want to give him a morning bath and take care of him? "
She offered as I smiled and
waved at him which made him cry of laughter.
She stepped aside and
let him wriggle on that mattress all by himself.
"Go ahead!" She only said
"It would lift your mood, right?"
I touched him so he wouldn't fall and hurt himself.
"You know, you can always talk to me, right?
Whatever is bothering you? I care about you!
I worry about you! "
"Okay" I only replied as
I got lost into his eyes full of innocence.
One that only asked to be loved.
I got him out of his jams and
not finding what I needed now,
I called out to her but when
I looked around she had left the room by now.
"Well, it's just you and me then, hey?"
I called out to him and he cheered in delight.
Now, I knew for sure! If I wanted to see Trace again,
I had to somehow 'smuggle' him with me.
Smuggle, hey?
I know, he is my son but since
I'm a star, an object of value as they called me,
I had a nanny to watch over my son when I worked or
should it be 'slaved' to make everyone happy except myself, huh!

I do wonder where all those 'awful' thoughts and
feelings came from now?
I'm sure, it worried everyone.
Had the 'loop lag' really caused
this 'distortion' in me or
was I just 'lovesick' and 'lonely' without her?
I had to come up with a decent plan now, hey?
A.S.A.P too cause I didn't want anyone to suffer!
I'm a good man, I really am. J
ust out of sorts lately!

"William? " I called out.
"Yeash, Sir" He answered me politely and
said hello to the little boy I was carrying in my arms.
"Can you drive me to the studio? "
"Eh, Yeah..." he hesitatingly answered me.

Then, he inched closer to me and whispered in my ear.
"Your secret is save with me. You miss her, do you? "
It made me blush as was it so obvious that
I needed to go to work at dusk by all means?
"It's okay" he assured me and touched my shoulder.
It made Patrick wriggle in my arms and
I had to grip him firm or I would have lost him.
"I just need to see her to explain or even say goodbye!"
I sighed and slumped my shoulders.
My son laid his head against my shoulder and
it perked me up again his inner light that
now strolled through my body.
"You have a right to love someone" he claimed.
"Being MJ is just a job, right?
Besides, it would be good for Patrick too, hey? "
"Yeah" I only nodded and sighed.

Could I boldly ask him to take me there?
Would she be waiting there in the mist for us?
Maybe, she would not let me go cause of the
link of her hubby and missing son?
Was it the right thing to do?
Drag him with me into my forbidden adventure?
I simply didn't know what was right or wrong anymore!
I only knew, I had to see her and tell her I loved her?
I really did, you know!
Was I so infatuated with her that
I would jeopardize my whole existence here?
Well, I didn't abandon my son, okay!
"Come on! " William only said when
silent minutes of 'inner fretting' went on and
quietly I went with him.

"Thanks, William" I vowed my hands together as
I got out of the car at the same exact spot.
I glanced around and now the mist swirling around there
didn't seem gloomy anymore.
It had a more exciting glow to it!
I got Patrick out and William assured me that
he would wait for a good 15 minutes to make sure
I got through the loop. He would come and 'pick up' us by dawn.
I only nodded as I didn't know what to do now!
My heart wanted to stay as I even got a suitcase with me but
my mind fretted that I simply could not do it, period!
Well, let's see what dawn brings, shall we?

So, we set out to find my 'lost love'!
It worried my heart a bit that
she was not waiting in that mist for me or even her hubby.
I just hoped I would find her and
with a trobbing heart, we stepped further into the uknown.
I was already glad that Patrick wasn't afraid of the mist and
he too set one brave step after another.
It must have looked strange though...
There I was...
One of the MOST famous people in the world and
I felt like I was eloping somehow
escaping to the end of the world only
carrying my most precious possessions with me.
A simple suitcase with clothes and his fave toys and
in the other hand my 2 year old son
dressed to a Tee like he was going to Disneyland or
any other theme park.

We finally made it out of the fog and
phew the town appeared right before our eyes.
One look back at the 99 and it was 'hello 69'.

A thought crossed my mind of
how 'loyal' William was to me.
Would he now wait till it was dawn for me?
Somehow, I didn't care cause
I needed to see her, hey?
My mind fretted it was simply to say 'goodbye' to her and
'explain' all my responsibilities that lie in 99 here or
there or wherever but my heart needed to see her,
needed to be with her.
I felt 'save' with her.
I'm not sure if I 'belonged' with her but
its the feeling that counts, right?

So, we walked on and
I didn't even remember to check what number or
what street she lived in.
I just hoped my 'intuition' or
my 'gut feeling' would take me there.
Somehow, I was glad and
suspicious at the same time cause
it wasn't like I remembered it though.
The street was quiet!
Not a living soul was out!
I did spot the lights on in houses though so
nothing really had happened since I left, I hope!
Maybe, it was still early morning there too?
I had no sense of how late we were though.
I only remember the digits on the radio in the car which
'blinked' 05:51 ...
I had to find her, hey? ASAP too!
How stupid and irresponsible was it
to dwell the early morning streets with a 2 year old?
He only innocently looked at me and
I only wished he wouldn't feel the BAD vibes
creeping over my spine now.
Was it all for nothing?
Had I put him in danger now?

Doubt and fear crept into me and
almost choked the life out of me till...
Till, was that her house?
Was that her car on the driveway?
Only one thing,
I could do now was ring that damn doorbell and
see if it was her, right?
Wish me Good luck!

"Take me Part Five"
Written by Daz, inspired by MJ

While Michael 'reunites' with Tracey,
he realizes this is gonna be tougher than he thought it would be.
How can he explain that he exactly belongs in 99?
Will he tell her he loves her now?

sleepMJ_zps484f415a.jpg

So, I rang that bell...
Nervously or even eager to see her
I hopped from one foot to the other.
I noticed the light been turned on in the hallway and
I once looked at my son squeezing his hand.
He only smiled at me.
She carefully opened the door still with the latch on.

"Hello" she called out in a squeeky voice
barely showing herself now.
"Hello Trace? " I bravenly asked as I tried to peek in.
"Who are you?" Was all she asked but
by now I figured out we were 'save'.
Now, it was a question of convincing her who we were, hey?
"It's Michael" I joyfully called out eager to hold her.
Carefully the latch unhooked and the door opened.

Before I realized it, she had flung herself at me.
"I missed you" she cried as
she planted hungry kisses in my neck and then
regained her composure, she pulled me indoors.
"Do come in! " She insisted.
She went through her knees to welcome him.
"That must be Patrick, right? "
"Hello Ma'am" the boy said polite.
"Hello young man" she spoke though
he was barely 2 years old.
It could have been the costume he was wearing though
that made him look older.

"Come through" she insisted as
she opened the door to the cosy living room and
spontanously it made me draw a deep breath like
'awww, I'm home again' though
I was a mere visitor from out of town.
"Take a seat! " She motioned with her hand and
I plunged into the sofa.
My son politely and carefully crawled into the sofa next to me.
Shy, he glanced at me as if to say 'we've not been introduced yet' .
"This is Tracey, Trick. She's a good friend of mine" I did say.
It made Trace smile though
she wanted to be more than just a 'good friend' but
I guess that is a start, hey!

"How long can you stay, Michael? "
She boldly asked me as she must have noticed my suitcase and
why did I bring my son with me if
it was only for one night!
"Huh" I sighed and brushed the edge of my chin like
I was checking if I shaved this morning or not.
"I suppose till dawn"
I let out a big sigh and slumped my head.
"Hey, you can stay longer, you know! "
I only nodded not even facing her.
Silent minutes passed by...

I felt her soft finger on my cheek and then
realized why as I looked up at her teary eyed.
I had missed her so much.
I had made speeches and stuff I was gonna do and
say once I met her again and now, I was falling apart.
Way to go, loser!
"Hey! " She wiped away another tear.
"Please don't cry, Hun!
This is your happy place, remember? "
I nodded 'yes' and only sniffled.
She offered my a hanky and I took it.
It took me some moments to get meself together but
I had to, okay!

"You want some milk and cookies, Patrick? "
He only glanced at me and
only when I smiled and nodded 'yes', he replied:
"Yes, ma'am."
"What do you want, Michael? "
She yelled from the kitchen.

"Stay, okay! " I demanded him and
he only wiggled his legs nodding 'okay'.
"Some lovely tea would be nice, dear! "
"Awww! " She called out as
she set the teapot down on the counter.

"I'm so glad, you're back if only till dawn.
I can show you James' room.
Patrick can sleep there for the night.
I'm sure, we won't see much sleep, hey."
It made her giggle.
"No" I exhaled and first making sure
I would not startle nor hurt her,
I wrapped my arms around her from the back.
She snuggled in my grip.
"I wished you could stay longer..."
"Me too, Hun... Me too! "I whispered before
I planted a soft kiss in her neck.
The kettle was singing on the stove so
she had to unwrap herself from me and
pour the hot water in the kettle.
She set everything on the tray and
insisted to carry it to the table.
Patrick thanked her for the milk and cookies and
I took the liberty to munch one too.

"So, how have you been? " She asked sipping from her tea.
"Okay, I guess! " I only shrugged.
This is my 'happy place' and
I have to tell her I've been ill and
dreaming since 'day one' to elope to her place?
"I missed you! "
I did reveal to her before
I swallowed any lingering words with a sip of my tea.
Patrick was gulping down that chocolate milk quite fast and
it made me look guilty that
I didn't pack any juice or even milk.
I totally forgot to bring his food.
What good are toys and clothes, hey?
"I'm glad you brought along your son"
she said try to uplift my mood.
"Yeah, he's my world really! "
I glanced at him and saw he was yawning and
rubbing his left eye.
"I think we need to find him a bed now, hey? "
"Yeah" I said as I leaped up. "That would be kind."

We did decide to lay him asleep in the guest room as
James' room was too messy and too attractive for a 2 year old.
He had already fallen asleep in my arms and as I laid him in bed,
he only stirred. I kissed him good night and
we carefully left the room.

"So, what 'you wanna do? "
She asked as we headed downstairs.
I only shrugged. "Just chill? "
"Oh, sure" she answered back.
I plunged back into that sofa like it was mine and
she only smiled.
"I'm so glad, you came back."
She repeated again lost for words.
I was speechless now too.

Okay, the reason for me being here was
to 'explain' I couldn't be here.
I had responsiblities and a life in 99!
I did think she was a blessing in disguise and
I vowed myself to tell her that I loved her.
How? Tell me how, Please?

"You got a sweet boy!"
She said breaking the silence between us.
I only nodded 'yeash'.
"Can I sit next to you? "
"Sure" I called out to her and
patted my hand on the sofa.
Without a word spoken,
she had wrapped her arm around my waist,
pulled me in her grip and
spontaneously I had laid my head in the nook of her arm.
It made me exhale a deep sigh as
I smelled her scent.
Too much really! Though, I didn't jerk out of her grip!
"It's okay now! " she assured me as
if my eyes or 'unspoken' words had babbled out all my turmoil.
"You're save with me! "
"Thanks! " Was my muffled cry in her shoulder.

I swear she had put something in my tea again or
was it her floral scent that made me all mushy as
I closed my eyes.

"I love you! " I whispered right before
dozing off in her arms.
I'm sure that was not the night
I had 'planned' in my head but somehow
it did feel right!
I didn't have one night of decent sleep in those weeks
I was in 99 though!
What was her secret?
Could I bring her to 99 or was I stuck here?
At least, I didn't abandon my son now, have I?
Abandoned my fans, you say?
No way, I just had to come up with
a decent plan to have her and
still be the MJ everyone wanted me to be!
For now, I snuggled in her grip that
felt so secure as I drifted off to sleep...

Her alarm clock woke her at 6 AM.
Just an hour before dawn!
She glanced around and
realized she took refuge in the guest room to
'watch' over his son or at least be there if
he would wake in the middle of the night or something.
He was still fast asleep laying on his back.
Though, she decided to take him with
her downstairs to see if his dad had woken too.
She had left him in the sofa where
he fell asleep last night.

He stirred a little but didn't fully wake up yet
so carefully she descended the stairs.
She once glanced at the sleeping beauty in the sofa,
all curled up and
now bundled in the blanket
she covered him with last night.
It would be a shame to wake him now, would it?
He seemed so lost and torn yesterday and
the statement before
he dozed off made her all 'fuzzy' inside again...
'I love you'

She laid Patrick in the opposite recliner and
made sure he was comfortable too.
It was time for a 'daring' plan so
she got herself ready and just drank some milk before
she head out to the edge of her world.

Indeed, there was a car waiting with a guy in it.
She waved at him hoping he would come to her cause
this was quite dangerous what she was doing now...
One second too long in 99 and
Michael was 'stuck' there alone till dusk.
She had been smart and wrote him a short note though!

"Hello ma'am" he called out to her.
"Hello, you must be William? "
"Indeed, I am. I suppose Mr. Jackson is still in dreamland, right? "
He only boldly spoke and smiled at her.
That put her at ease though!
"Yeah" she answered kinda guilty.
"I hope you understand my decision and
I hope he does too! " She began her plea.
"I need him for a few days! "
"Okay, Please take care of him! "
"I will" she assured him and was a little stunned,
it was that easy!
"I agree, Miss.
He needs to be Michael for a few days, hey!"
"Yeah" she sighed and looked at the sky.
Almost dawn! Okay, time to wrap up this convo, hey!

"Can I just ask you one thing? "
"Sure, Hun."
"How famous is Michael exactly? "
"Well, they call him The King of POP though.
He has a lot of loyal fans and
unfortunately a lot of leeches hanging around him too. "
"Oh, that is why he's so exhausted" she replied.
It made her frown her forehead.
The coming dawn shocked her and
with a quick wave and goodbye shout
she disappeared in the mist just in the nick of time.
Phew, that was close!

In the meantime, Michael had woken up and
found the note and his son all curled up in the recliner.
She rushed back home and
a wonderful scent took master of her.
Okay, let's take care of him, hey!

"Oh, Hey Hun" I whirled around on my feet.
"You don't mind, I made breakfast, right?
Trick was kinda hungry! "
She stood there in awe for a moment as
the memory of her hubby and son came to mind.
He always made breakfast too and
now this moment was too blissful to destroy really as
he stood there.
Wet curls, smelling divine with his showergel and
taking care of his son all fresh and all too.
He was cutting up his slice of bread in 'bread soldiers'
to dip into his egg.
"Thanks" I said to clear the air and
hopefully lift up her mood.

I realize it must be weird or
tough to have a man and a boy in her 'home' again
still with her hubby and son missing.
"You're welcome! " She snapped out of her thoughts.

"Take a seat! "I offered and presented her with a chair.
"Thank you, Michael" she called out and
glanced at the wonderful breakfast her 'guest' had
made for her or for them...

They ate in silence enjoying their food though
it filled the air with so much Bliss.
Had her prayers been answered?
Was she the angel sent from heaven?

"So, I didn't knew the KING of POP
could make such good food"
She blurted out to kill the silence between them.
It made me chuckle as I told her:
"Well, there other things I'm still capable of doing too."
I winked at her as Trick drank the last of milk.
It only made her smile from ear to ear as
she stood up and began to clear the table.
"You had enough, Trick? "
"Yeash, thanks dad" he answered and
then addressed himself to the lady.
"Thanks ma'am."

"Why don't you go to the livingroom?
We'll soon join you, okay? "
Happily, he skipped to the other room.
I got up and offered her to help.
She kindly took my request and
it made me sigh to just do the stuff peeps
take for granted.

"So, what 'you wanna do today? "
She asked while doing the dishes while I dryed.
"I'm all yours"
I cried happy and that made her chuckle as
she gave a foamed wet plate to me.
I carefully took it and dryed it.
"Where do you keep them? " I wondered.
"Top shelf to the right! " She instructed and
I followed her directions.
"I'm really glad you can stay."
"Yeah, thanks for having me, Trace" I blurted out.
"All done! "
"Thanks" she only said as
she wiped her wet hands on her kitchen towel.
I gave mine back to her and
decided to check upon my son. She followed me.

"We can go to the park though.
They have beautiful swings there so Patrick can play and
we can just soak up the sun. "
"Fine, now? "I wondered.
She only nodded and I got him into his jacket.
I took his hand and as a proud dad
I stepped out of her house.

"Trace? "
"Yeash" she only answered as
she was locking the front door.
"What did you tell the neighbours about me? "
"I told them you were just an old friend visiting me.
Don't worry, Hun. You're save here remember.
We're 69 here, right? "
"Yeah, of course! "

For a December day,
it was quite a sunny day though
as we walked her hand felt mine and I let her.
It had been too long since I had someone to call 'mine'.
Oh, Marie was not really my type anyway!
Too fussy, too cold, too controlling!
I was a man after all with feelings and desires, right?
We just had to take it slow and besides
it felt really good to just take a walk in the park without
disguise or the fear of being recognized and
hunted down by fan and foe.
I did jump back startled a few times when
just other people passed us.
It only made her grip on me tighter as to assure me
she was there to keep me 'save'.
Had I just thrown this all away for fame and fortune?

"There are the swings! "
She pointed out piercing through my sorrow.
"Okay! " I called out but
didn't let go of niether till
I could really touch the cold iron bars of the swing.
I put him on it and swung him back and forth
having the biggest smile on my face in ages.
I hope I was just a happy dad and
not some 'freak on the loose' for a day!
I glanced at her and she only smiled at me.
Keeping a safe distance from the swing and my 'bubble'.
It made me smile!
Had I finally found someone for me...
Just for me?

"It's getting cold, we better go home now"
she told me and I only nodded.
Hand in hand, we walked through the park and
I felt she wanted to ask me something or
start any convo but somehow
people always react startled and
speechless around me.
I did have that effect on people.
I wondered why?
I'm simply Michael Jackson.
I secretly wished I had another name sometimes cause
it seriously jinxed the convo and
the acting around me.
What's a name hey?

I squeezed her and glanced at her.
"What? " I only uttered.
"I had a lovely afternoon, Michael.
The best in ages.
Do you think I need to give up hope in
ever finding my hubby and son? "
She looked so innocent at me that
it made me forget I was MJ for a moment.
"How long have they gone? "
I simple asked.
"Too long" she sighed.
"I wished we never had that quarrel the night he left.
I didn't want him to take James to the new world and
he fretted that I was too controlling.
Am I? " I chuckled.
"No way! " I expressed.
It made her smile and
I smiled back as I squeezed my hand in hers.

"I wish I could stay, Trace but..."
I hesitated and knew NOW was
the time to 'break her heart' hey!

"I know... I understand, Michael.
You're the King of POP or
whatever that means and
people count on you.
I'm already glad you came back."
"I had to. I missed you" I blurted out.
"Can you at least stay for a few days? "
I only nodded 'yeash'.
"Thanks"

She pulled me near and
swiftly kissed me on the cheek as
it made me blush.
I briefly glanced at my son holding my hand and
he seemed tired too.

As we came home,
I asked what is for dinner and
she suggested 'pancakes'.
It made me cry and yelp a 'heehee' but
she only smiled at me and
I admit it made me sigh cause
any other girl would have chuckled at
my famous 'heehee' but
she didn't knew that part of me and
I was torn for a minute if
I could show that part of me really.

"Are you gonna help me too, Trick? "
"yeah, ma'am"
"Okay, you can fill that bowl with flour and
I'll tell you when to stop."
I loved how she was so kind to Trick really and
how 'normal' and nice she was to me.
It could be the fact that
she didn't knew who I was and
it started to 'confuse' me really.
Who was I exactly?

Just Michael, a forty something guy with
a son of two and an ex?
or was I the star everyone adored or loathed?
Hollywood does that to you! It rocks your world but
not in a good way, I would say.
I did love all the admiration and
love from my fans but then
again any life has sacrificies right?

"A penny for your thoughts? "
She touched me and
a sneer of pain traveled through my spine.
"Aouw" I cried.
"Sowwy, you ok? "
"Yeah, I guess. Can I flip the pancake once? "
I asked her trying to ignore that
nagging feeling in me of
'who am I exactly'.
"Sure, Hun"
"Okay, pancakes are ready.
You hungry, Trick? "
I yelled still trying to kill that 'boogyman' inside of me.
"Yeah" he cried and tucked straight in.
"Enjoy" was all she said.

I gobbled mine up in silence hoping that
bugger would flee once it was fed.

"Been long since you had pancakes, right? "
I felt busted for 'gobbling' or
did she read my negative vibe?
"Uh, yeash ma'am" I blushed.

"So, early night again, Michael or
what you wanna do? "
I glanced at her and blushed even more.
What do regular folks do in the evening, hey?
Me? I wrote, I recorded, I sang...
I worked, period. TV?
Oh, that box in the living room where
you vegetate in front of and
fall asleep eventually, right?
I only shrugged keeping my thoughts to myself now.

"I guess, it's been long since
you relaxed like that, right? "
Was it that obvious as
I only blushed and nodded 'yeash'.
"So what do you do then?
I meant how you spend your evenings? "
"Working? " I answered once
I swallowed another bite of my pancake
dipped in mable syrup.
"I see" she only answered as
she sipped from her tea.
I declined to have tea and drank juice.

Each time, I drank tea there,
I fell asleep on her.
I wanted to enjoy and savor every minute now.
"Well, I don't see it as working though"
I added as she remained silent.
"I love it really.
Creating and escaping and
just sharing my talent and stuff."
I saw her frown her eyebrows and
knew I was babbling. I
even realized in that split second,
she really had no clue who MJ was, okay.
Yeah, the little boy from the Ed Sullivan show and
that was it, folks!

"I meant..." I corrected.
"I write music, lyrics and then record them as songs.
I love to do videos too and
get into character and all.
I love that part...
Unfortunately, there is the other part too of
media and critics but
I try not to let that overshadow me too much."
She only nodded listening to me.

For a moment,
it felt strange like I was been interviewed and
silently been scrutinized again so
I went quiet again as I drank my juice and
the pulp in it made me cough a little.

"Indeed, that must be the fun part of it...
Creating! I love to create too though it's only knitting."
"So what do you do in the evenings? "
I asked her cause
I wasn't really used to talk about myself and
I love to hear what other people did.
The boring and usual life really intriged me.
"I watch my fave soaps and knit about anything really.
Scarfs, sweaters, hats, you name it" she chuckled.
"I think there is one ready for Neverland, right? "
I called out as
I saw my boy litteraly falling asleep at the kitchen table,
his mouth covered in chocolate as
he was dozing off.
"Oh yeah" she exclaimed.

So, I took care of him and
laid him asleep in the guest room again.
As, I came down,
Trace was already doing the dishes and
I offered to help again.
After that, we plunged into the sofa and
she popped on the TV as
her fave soap was on and
she asked if I didn't mind it.

I only nodded 'no'. I was feeling sleepy again.
I promised myself,
I was not gonna fall asleep again and
leave her there alone again but
let's see what the evening brings hey.

She showed me her knitting and
carefully I took the craft work in my hands.
The wool felt soft as I touched it.
"Beautiful" I expressed.
"I could knit you a sweater? " She suggested.
"What is your fave colour, Michael? "
"Red" I blurted out and blushed a little.
"OOOh, nice indeed."

I admit the WOW factor of
lounging in the sofa soon wore out and
I was fighting my inner demons to quit that
ever creative battle in me.
She was ever so sweet and
offered me some red wine.
I gladly took the offer and there I was...
On her sofa, cheering on another beautiful day.

Suddenly, the TV wasn't so boring anymore cause
I was doing 'something' now, was I?

We giggled and laughed when
a comedy show came on and
it finally silenced my creative brain as
the wine relaxed me too.
So, this was the life hey, I was deprived off?
Nice though for a chance!

Soon, I hope NOT too soon.
I snuggled against her while a movie started.
She invited me into her arms.
There was indeed something different about her.
I felt save in her arms as
I snuggled inhaling her scent and with a big sigh,
I finally dozed off again.
Bliss indeed!

~ Chapter SIX ~

Something woke me up...
Was it the fact that my stomach was howling for food or that
the neon sign in my brain blinked 'FULL', that
would have been the one of my bladder now.
Dazed, I opened my eyes and there she stood smiling at me.
It startled me a bit as I grabbed the blanket for support.
Was she my girlfriend?

Nah, she would have been in bed now waking up beside me
in her silk white nighty snuggling against me.
How much I loved that girl, I'm not really into that 'clingy' type at all.

The neon light in my brain 'flashed' FULL again and so
I had to get up and find a bathroom fast.
There was one in the corridor I found, just in time or
I would have peed in my pants really.
I was still trying to figure out what the hell I was doing here.
Who was she? I still remembered I was Michael, was I?

Puzzled, I came out in the hall way again and
just found my way down the stairs. It was a cosy place though.
Something that 'oozed' that HOME feeling out of
every pore in that cottage.
"Please have breakfast with me? " She pleaded and
still dazed I took a seat on her wooden table decorated with flowers and
a breakfast that belonged to a five star hotel!
I was too hungry to even fret at it and I ate like
I hadn't eaten anything in a week. It made her smile and
all she commented was... "More Tea, dear? "
I only nodded and with a full tummy, I suddenly realized what
happened to me.

I tried to strain my brain to remember the order of events and
to why I was enjoying bread - tasted like home made to me-
in someone's kitchen. All, I could remember was the mist and her.
She had golden hair that flowed perfectly along her face.
She wore a flowery dress now and as
I checked her out her tuss was the right size.
I really hope she wouldn't catch my vibe now as
she was standing with her back to me just doing the dishes now.
I was speechless right now and
I simply didn't want this Bliss to end.
I so wanted to be just Michael enjoying a nice cuppa tea and
some bread and jam.

~ Chapter Seven ~

beautybehold_zps2ea95dfa.jpg

Michael's cell should have rang or even vibrated but
it was nicely tucked into the pocket of jeans while
he was still on that kitchen table 'lost' in that
'fantasy' he was living in now.

"And? " The producer asked in distress.
"He is not picking up his phone! All I get is a 'busy' tone.
You sure, you haven't said or done something wrong last night or
even morning for all that matters? " The guard on the line fretted.
"Well, he left at around 5 AM insisting to drive home.
What was I supposed to do? Take his hand and drag him to my car?
He's not object of value, you know? He's a grown a$$ man! "
The producer snapped at him.

"He didn't come home though. I could call around and
see if he's bunking with family or friends but it looks like
we're not respecting his privacy, right?
What was his mood when he left? "
"He was tired. Still hyped up. I figured he would be okay and
not do something stupid really! "
"What 'you mean by 'stupid' ? " The guard asked worried.
"Nah, He wouldn't do a thing like that.
Well, he broke up with his girlfriend and he quit the session cause
he claimed he couldn't concentrate and needed 'to air',
whatever that meant."

"I won't go calling people just yet cause you know before you know it,
it would be headline news and we don't need that, do we? "
"I know... I know" the guard answered.
"We'll give him 48 hours maybe he just needs to air as he said.
You know, he has secret 'hide outs' where he can chill."
"Okay, We'll give him 48 hours then. Bye William."
"Okay, talk to you laters, Mr. Jones. If you hear him in the meantime,
gimme a call allright? "
"Sure thang, Sir" he finally said before he hung up.
It made him sigh. He wished it was just an 'excape' as
Mr. Jackson had done it before.
He just hoped he was somewhere save, that's all.

Back in 1969...
"So, what 'you wanna do today? " She asked me as she turned around.
Her hands were covered in foam and she just wiped them off
on her kitchen towel.

I hope they don't really miss you back in what year do you say...

The sun sets at around 5 PM so
I'll take you back... I hope your car is still there so
you don't have to walk home."
"When does the sun rise here? "
"Let's see" she got up and checked the calender on the wall.
"That would be around 7 Am."
"Okay then, maybe it would be better if I just pop back a quarter or
even 10 minutes to 7 cause then you say
the mist clears up at sunrise? "
"Yeah, the portal closes at 6:55 AM now. You want to protect us, do you?
You're ever so kind! I've been ever so stupid to drag you into my life here!

For a moment, I thought you were my husband but
then when I lead you into the mist, you didn't let go...

I felt 'burnt out', trapped and
in need for an escape. Was this just another trap I had fallen into?
Was it better that I just took on a different identity here?
I couldn't do that to my kids, my family, my fans?
Did anyone know I was missing already?
I looked up and only saw her caring face as she smiled at me.

Part 8 of "Take me"
Written by Daz, Inspired by MJ

stopworld_zps02192a8d.jpg

"I'm sorry" I collected myself and dragged my body to my feet.
"I'm keeping you up here.
You're not late for work because of me? "
"I... don't have... a job" she hesitatingly revealed.
"My husband is an accountant. I'm living up all our savings now.
I just don't know..." she sighed as she plunged down on the chair.
She seemed defeated too. All, I could do was take a seat on that
chair too again to listen to her turmoil.
"Is he gone long now? "
She didn't answer as she was squeezing the life out of
her kitchen towel.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry but talking helps, you know.
At least, if you have someone that wants to listen to you."
"It's been 3 months now. I don't even know why I wait for him anymore?
I have no reason to believe that he would just leave me and
take James with him."

Suddenly, it seemed my problems were not so tough anymore cause
of what she was enduring now.

A white big fat lie to ease her mind or condemn her to stay living her?

The world was not a better place though!
"I don't wanna pry too, Michael" she answered as
I might have taken too long to respond.
"I don't know, Hun. I always try to see everything in a positive way and
I write songs to uplift people's mood but it seems like
it doesn't do me any good. Well, not how I feel right now though."
I hung my head down.

"Maybe, you need a break? Go on holiday or something? "
"Yeah" I smirked. "Time off and I are not the best of friends.
I am what people call a 'workaholic'. Well, that was the last
she said to me...

You go to work, studio or office or even factory..." I sighed and
took a deep breath to continue my rant.
"Just so you can keep her by your side and buy her nice things and stuff.

"So..." she said all perked up as she jumped from her chair.
"What shall we do today? Go shopping or just a nice stroll in town?
It's not fair to keep you here locked up is it? "
"Yeah" I jumped from my chair. "Shopping would be nice! "
"Okay, I'll get my coat then! "

In the meantime, William had found his car with a flat stranded on
the side of the road. He parked his car behind it and
checked out the abandonned vehicle. No sign of blood anywhere but
no sign of Michael either.

Diseappear for a few days and
experience the 'real' life!

He started ranting about the rent of
the studio and the deadline they were facing and his responsibility and
stuff he simply didn't wanna hear so he did the 'brave' thing by
'disconnecting' him.
