Probably a common one, but thought Smooth Criminal was asking Eddie if he was OK![]()
When I first listened to "Who Is It", I thought I heard a line like "Don't you judge Michael Bush 'cause I'm lying to myself", and that had me wondering for quite some time XD
Actually it's "Don't you judge of my composure / ‘Cause I'm lying to myself"
In Billie Jean I remember a radio station saying it sounded like MJ was saying The Chair is not my son
It's The Kid is not my son
Keep on like a porn star, Don’t stop till you get it up’
As opposed to the actual version, which is ‘Keep on with the force Don’t stop, Don’t stop ‘till you get enough’ – some people have dirty minds!
D.S."
Misheard Lyrics:
Tom Sneddon is a cold man.
Original Lyrics:
Dom Sheldon is a cold man.
Actually he is saying Tom Sneddon is a Cold Man
Dirty Diana"
Misheard Lyrics:
She said, 'I have to go home
'Cause I'm retired, you see?'
Original Lyrics:
She said, 'I have to go home
'Cause I'm real tired, you see?'
I must understand Michael quite well, because I've never really had too much trouble knowing what he was saying in his lyrics.
Actually no. He clearly sings Tom Sneddon. - ONLY because he wanted to avoid legal battles etc. did he call the song D.S. - and only because of this - the lyrics is in the HIStory booklet. - I think it is the only song that has lyrics in the booklet. - And that was to avoid a lawsuit. - But no doubt he says Tom Sneddon very clearly in the song.

I would be really glad if you rated or/and commented the videos. Thanks
Mine would be "black or white"
I ain't scared of no sheets (sh*t)
In ‘D.S.’, Michael Jackson sings ‘Tom Sneddon’ (the real name of the district attorney), not ‘Dom Sheldon’.
He even sings his full name (‘Thomas Sneddon’) at a certain point.
If the song had a completely different lyrical theme, then it would have had more appeal to his fans.
The lyrics of ’Earth Song’ and ‘Childhood’ are also printed in the ‘HIStory’ booklet (so, in total 3 songs).
