I donated 100 $ today. I believe Taj is a very credible and upright member of the Jackson family (I probably wouldn't donate to Jermaine for example xD). In the GoFundMe page he explains that he's going to produce an independent documentary, not having to deal with any influence from outside editors or producers. I think this is the right thing. And yes, we are actually just starting, because if the documentary series will be made, we'd still have to make sure that it acutally gets a bigger audience. But I believe we can do it! This is the most loyal and caring fan community on this planet, I have no doubt! Think about it this way: Crowdfunding will ensure that this production is going to be completely independent, telling the truth about Michael.

By the way a general comment: Don't know if you all feel similar, but I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE to be part of this global fan community! This is giving so much to my life, it feels so good to be globally united with you all for the cause of defending and caring for Michael. I LOVE IT! And I love Michael for bringing us all together! I love you all, people!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm sure most of Michael's fans will want to help in some way. It's a huge target, though. $777000. I wouldn't have thought Taj would need as much as that to create a documentary, but I confess I'm no expert on how much productions like this cost. It makes me wonder how the Sundance festival film was financed......it would be an interesting exercise to uncover the financial backers for that project.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. He also has the funds and the footage of MJ trial and life. Let’s not forget he filmed everything. I remember him on top of the car at the trial and seeing his personal camera man filming. This has to been done now to end it all.

Yeah, there really needs to be some clarity on what the idea is.. or at least get fans envolved in that way.

* an action plan
* where does the money go to, break it down piece by piece
* how they go about distributing the documentary to the public
* some details on what they plan to cover


If they just have family members say "I know Michael's heart and he would never".. that would be money and work down the drain. It needs to discuss the details of the cases and so on. I'd like to have Tom mez, aphrodite Jones, or another author that has covered the allegations be brought into the project.

Is Wade's documentary just the story of him and Safechuck? Pedophiles are known for hundreds of victims. No child pornography was ever found in Michael Jackson's possession. Is this the only way Wade and Safechuck can make a living?! I would be very surprised if either one of them found a distributor. At least Taj has good intentions.

A Netflix release would be a very powerful release format, as it would be watched MILLIONS of times mostly by the general public. A straight to DVD release would be for fans only and go unnoticed. I personally think a docu-series of this caliber would require a few million dollars, I dont think 770,000 will cover it.
