I noticed that Absolute Radio have played MJ 0 times in the last 30 days according to their site.
I then checked several other artists and what I found was concerning.
They continue to play alleged abusers and convicted sex abusers.
For example, allegations were made against David Bowie and he was played 600 times in 30 days!
Elvis was played 273 times in 30 days.
James brown was accused of rape and played 212 times in 30 days.
Gene Simmons was accused of sexual assault and KISS were played 81 times in 30 days.
Now here's a really strong point!
Pete Townshend of The Who was found to have paid for and accessed child porn. He admitted to doing so. He was added to the sex offenders register in 03. Absolute Radio played The Who 450 times in 30 days!
No such material was found at Neverland. MJ was never charged with that crime. In fact MJ was never convicted of any crime.
so how can Absolute Radio justify their stance?
It's a serious question that I want them to answer, but so far they have refused to answer my request.
I'm asking for help from the MJ community.
Please contact Absolute Radio and ask them to reinstate MJ on their playlist.

I have sent them this email (amongst others).

I have noticed that AbsoluteRadio have not played any Michael Jackson's tracks in at least 30 days, and I assume that is a direct consequence of the discredited allegations made in the recent broadcast of the "Leaving Neverland" film.
I have also noticed that other accused artists continue to be played regularly on AbsoluteRadio over the last 30 days, despite allegations made against them, proven or otherwise.
Here just some examples:
David Bowie (alleged of abusing two young girls) - 600 plays
Elvis Presley (widely suspected to have had inappropriate relations with young girls) - 273 plays
James brown (accused of rape in the 80s) - 212 plays
Gene Simmons (of the band KISS - accused of sexual abuse and settled out of court a few years ago) - 81 plays.
I saved the best until last.
Pete Townshend of The Who. He admitted to have paid for and accessed child pornography online and subsequently added to the sex offenders register - 450 plays in 30 days!!
Michael Jackson was never found to have owned or accessed child pornography and was never charged with such a crime.
He was tried and acquitted on all charges in 2005 and in fact was NEVER convicted of any crime.
The recent allegations made against him have been widely discredited as lies using legal documents, court testimony, as well as photographic and video evidence.
for example, one of the recent accuser claims in multiple sworn declarations (under penalty of perjury) to have been abused "every day" in a train station at 10/11 years old but planning documents prove planning permission was not granted until he was 15 years old, while photographic and video evidence, as well as staff testimony prove that the train station was not built until he was 16 years old! The accuser has confirmed in sworn declarations that he never returned to Neverland after the age of 14 in 1992 - two years BEFORE the station was built.
The judge who dismissed the civil case (in December 2017), in which the accusers were seeking a financial award of many millions of dollars, had previously stated no rational fact finder would believe it (referring to the other accusers claims).
So how can Absolute Radio justify their stance of not playing Michael Jackson on the basis of discredited allegations while still playing other artists accused or convicted of sex crimes?
Regards,
