Hi, I posted in a thread which may not have been the right one and nobody replied so thought I'd start a new thread and copy the post if that's OK. I can't seem to start the thread in the trials and tribulations forum for some reason.

Hi everyone I’m not sure I’m posting this in the right place. I didn’t know much about the allegations until watching Leaving Neverland and I've now been reading quite a bit about it. I’m having a hard time knowing what to believe. One moment I am feeling he is innocent and then days later I am swayed the other way.

I don’t believe the men in the documentary but I am worried about the other boys. I can put a lot down to greedy money grabs but there are those that are quiet that bother me. For example why did MJ have a photo of naked Jonathan Spence? One moment I think all allegations were a money grab and hate and then I step back and it doesn’t look good spending so much time with young boys and having this photo.

I would like to believe he is innocent. I didn’t get to see MJ live but I have listened to his music all my life and have a lot of fond memories from dance school performing his routines. On the other hand I just want to know the truth even if it turns out to be not what I want to hear. I’m tired of trying to figure it all out.

Does anyone have any thoughts about the photo? How do you rationalise the overall pattern of behaviour?

Michael spoke many times about why he loved children and why he preferred the company of children. Children saw and treated Michael like a normal human being, not a superstar or an ATM machine. And this is something that he desperately wanted and needed. For the most part, they didn't try to manipulate, or extort, or take advantage of him like adults did. Their innocence and openness gave Michael comfort, joy, and inspiration. He saw God in children and through them he also got to experience a childhood he never had. As a male "big kid", it's natural that Michael would gravitate towards hanging around with other boys more often than girls, because they shared similar interests, like video games, the same kind of films and tv shows, wrestling with each other, water balloon fights, etc.

If you know enough about Michael and experience enough of him, everything is understandable and explained. I'd recommend reading up some more on the site I linked, watching Michael's interviews on YouTube, reading his quotes (there's a good site here - https://mjjjusticeproject.wordpress.com/2018/10/02/michael-jackson-the-man-and-the-message/). Get to know him better and you won't have these doubts. I hope this helps.

With these stars, no ine can ever truly kniw what hapoened or didn't happen. But if theres no reliable evidence for a specific case, then it would make no sense to draw speculations. Truthfully, I cannot say that Michael owning strange books with half undressed figures is not weird. The facts are there to explain certain cases, but as for the rest, that's between him and God. As people we are naturally curious about things that just don't add up or make sense. They don't. And forever we will have no idea about some things about Michael. None of us actually knew him.
