Square One (New Evidence Michael Jackson Case) is finally available on YouTube with French subtitles.

it still lacks a little subtitling on a small passage of the documentary, it does not interfere with the understanding of it and the discovery of the remarkable work done by Danny Wu, its director.

This independent documentary that deserves to be broadcast on channels around the world, says no person who testified was paid any compensation. Danny Wu realized it with his own means and you can help him to finance the past and future promotion via a paypal account created for this purpose.

More food for toughts about the details of the settlement in this twitter thread:

When, for a moment, it looked like the criminal case might get ahead of the civil, their reaction was: "Jesus Christ! We don't want that!" Remember: only a criminal trial can get a perpetrator in jail! A civil trial is only about money.

The Chandler book speaks about a desire for a settlement from the beginning. They even brag about how the friendship between MJ's and their lawyers would be beneficial for them to steer the case towards a settlement.

Those connections only became tighter when Johnnie Cochran (and his sidekick Carl Douglas) came on board in December. By the time Fields and Pellicano were also pushed out by the lawyers in favor of a settlement.

Cochran had a 20 years long friendship with Feldman (Feldman even represented Cochran in a case), so if Weitzman could not convince MJ of a settlement before, now he got pushed by two high profile attorneys to settle.

If MJ had wanted to settle, they could have very easily and quickly done it back in September, as that's all the Chandlers wanted. Apparently that's what MJ's lawyers wanted as well: "You make this go away and we'll all make a lot of money."

So the only obstacle must have been MJ's resistance.
