Square One (New Evidence Michael Jackson Case) is finally available on YouTube with French subtitles.

it still lacks a little subtitling on a small passage of the documentary, it does not interfere with the understanding of it and the discovery of the remarkable work done by Danny Wu, its director.

This independent documentary that deserves to be broadcast on channels around the world, says no person who testified was paid any compensation. Danny Wu realized it with his own means and you can help him to finance the past and future promotion via a paypal account created for this purpose.

More food for toughts about the details of the settlement in this twitter thread:

When, for a moment, it looked like the criminal case might get ahead of the civil, their reaction was: "Jesus Christ! We don't want that!" Remember: only a criminal trial can get a perpetrator in jail! A civil trial is only about money.

The Chandler book speaks about a desire for a settlement from the beginning. They even brag about how the friendship between MJ's and their lawyers would be beneficial for them to steer the case towards a settlement.

Those connections only became tighter when Johnnie Cochran (and his sidekick Carl Douglas) came on board in December. By the time Fields and Pellicano were also pushed out by the lawyers in favor of a settlement.

Cochran had a 20 years long friendship with Feldman (Feldman even represented Cochran in a case), so if Weitzman could not convince MJ of a settlement before, now he got pushed by two high profile attorneys to settle.

If MJ had wanted to settle, they could have very easily and quickly done it back in September, as that's all the Chandlers wanted. Apparently that's what MJ's lawyers wanted as well: "You make this go away and we'll all make a lot of money."

So the only obstacle must have been MJ's resistance.

It's great it's still being premiered in various countries.

I am also glad to see the views for this documentary on youtube still go up in a steady trend. It's not slowing down it seems.
For a small budget documentary I think it's very well made and explains the case very clearly.

I spend five days last week adding Dutch subtitles but I guess Danny still needs to approve of them. (I am not sure how it works)
I hope it will come available soon so more Dutch people can understand it too. I tried to be as objective and clear as possible in translating it. It was hard. Despite already knowing the content it really got to me. When you have to translate and explain it in your own language. It just hit me even more. I felt so much for Michael... How on earth can anyone do that to another human being just for money? I just... I can't understand. And now we have two turds doing it again.

When you look up the hastag for square one on twitter you see 9 out of 10 people are very positive about it. What I found interesting is that there are a few twitter accounts constantly saying the same negative things about the docu and Michael. Even copying and reposting their own tweets every few days. I wonder what's going on with that. It's strange.

This. And they’re trying to appear larger in number than they actually are.

Might be bots. Report them to twitter (there should be a button for that somewhere).

I am aware they might be trolls or people with nothing better to do but I found it rather fascinating and funny because they got very few (if any at all) likes and replies. Seems like such a pointless thing to do when no one gives a bleep.
It made me wonder if somebody is behind it.

I had no clue you could do that. Will look into it. Thanks!
