Universal Music announced the reissue for October 25th of the very first Greatest Hits of the Jackson 5 and this in vinyl and transparent vinyl edition.
The original release of the Jackson 5’s Greatest Hits LP in 1971 was cause for celebration, as it encapsulated an extraordinary 18-month string of back-to-back hits and was itself a hit souvenir of Jacksonmania. It featured eight smash records, led by the group’s phenomenal Motown debut, “I Want You Back.”
This Best of will release in its quadrophonic version released only in Japan in 1975. This version allowed to propose mixes using alternative voice recordings and instrumentation different from the proposed one on singles and other official albums.
Since the mixes in this edition are stereoscopic, you do not have to have a special decoder or four speakers to listen to music.
In 1971, this Greatest-Hits then proposed a new song called Sugar Daddy . This song was then the subject of a single release on which will appear in Face B the title I'm So Happy also unpublished.
1.I Want You Back
2.ABC
3.Never Can Say Goodbye
4.Sugar Daddy
5.I'll Be There
6.Maybe Tomorrow
7.The Love You Save
8.Who's Loving You
9.Mama's Pearl
10.Goin 'Back To Indiana
