It is sad to see but more Michael Jackson items are going on auction at “Gotta Have Rock and Roll”.

This time they are from Frank DiLeo’s Estate and includes personal items that Frank has kept through the years working with Michael.

The full list has not been released yet but we can reveal that this auction will includes awards and props that where used on Michael Jackson’s videos.

The auction will take place from 13 -22 November 2019.

– Michael Jackson Thriller Award
– Michael Jackson prop sign as seen in the movie “Moonwalker” and in the music video “Speed Demon”
– “This is it” music award presented to Frank personally

It is said that the DiLeo’s collection is big and many more items will appear on the auction soon.

I think it´s sad how people are always making money of things related to Michael. I´m sure he wouldn´t want any of this and he said many times people were always coming to him asking money or to take advantage of him. It´s sad...

This is true. I don't see anything TOO bad about this.

Now if they were trying to release the book Frank had been working on before he passed, that might make me suspicious.
 
To be honest with ya Michael said he didn't want his awards to be just sitting in his house. Michael said he just saw his awards as things not something big. yes he said he would look at them sometimes but in reality he didn't really care that much. he said he just want it to show his GODgiving talents to the world and help us. that's it. money and fame Michael didn't really care about.
 
Though. before he died when they was trying to sell his stuff he was upset about it. so i don't know. i guess he want it somethings to keep while his other stuff to be giving away. though he probably was upset they came into his house with out even asking him first.

i really wish they did keep half of his stuff and made it into an museum. that would of been a great idea. i mean he was the biggest superstar on the planet he does deserve an museum. yes he was human being just like the rest of us but he's apart of history. ugh. this world i swear.

this whole world did Michael wrong. i hope he at peace now. :heart:

Absolutely. This collection belonged to Frank, not to Michael and it's up to Frank's family to decide what is done with it. No one has a say in it...least of all, MJ fans. Deceased estates are usually always about liquidation and dispersal of assets. That's how it works, plain and simple. If fans can benefit from the sale, by purchasing some items for themselves, then it's a win/win situation.

I receive the "Gotta Have Rock and Roll" catalogue every month in the mail and there are always MJ and Jackson family items available. There's also usually a lot of items to bid on, which formerly belonged to Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, Prince, John Lennon, the Bee Gees, Marilyn Monro and many, many more.
 
Michael did said before he died he didn't want anybody to make money off of him. he said he want it to live forever but not by making money off of him but by his music etc.

Michael had to go though that for his whole life. people making money off of him and people begging for money even his own family which is why he moved away at the first place.

while Michael was okay helping people he got tired because it wasn't his job to take care of other people. he was human being just like rest of us who need food,water, etc.

which is still happening right now as we speak. :\

they do need stop making money off of him. just give what the fans want and let him rest. his music and legacy will live on forever so we have nothing to worry about.
 
one thing i learned this year is that material things really doesn't matter. we all gonna die someday and all the stuff we have is gonna be either taken from family,fight over, give away to goodwill etc, or to be throw in the trash.

it's the truth because when a family member passed in my family that what exactly what happened.

one thing for sure at least fans etc are to be able to have these things and put them to their home etc until they leave this earth themselves.

No one is "making money off Michael" and none of us truly knows what he would and wouldn't want. These items belonged to Frank DiLeo....they are merely going to change ownership, the way that most possessions do, when someone passes away. Michael Bush said that MJ wasn't attached to material things....that's why he gave so much away to others.
 
If frank had any bad tour film in his collection that would be interesting.

I don´t know. I think when it comes to Michael money is always involved. But it´s just my opinion and I respect yours.
 
I agree. half the time when money is involved when it comes to Michael. but wouldn't say all the time. this right here is something totally different and it apart of Frank collection not Michael's because Michael was the one who were friends with him and one of his managers.

like mikky say Michael didn't care about material things so he gave most of things away to friends,fans, etc.

though i do wish they would keep his things and just make them into a museum to show how biggest superstar Michael were and still is. i mean they did it to Elvis graceland why can't michael? (know about the story behind neverland so you don't have to explained to me.)

they tried to do it when Michael was alive but he got upset about it so at this point we don't know what Michael would have really want it. i say if you gonna sell his stuff go ahead just give it to someone who's gonna take good care of it if not then make into a museum or put it somewhere that have to with music and or history.

that would work. they would make money and so will the owners etc.

Frank must have definitely had a Bad tour show in his hands, even rehearsals and cool stuff
