OK, obviously not a book about MJ, but I thought this would be interesting for our book club to know.

    Thanks.

EDIT: Specifically, I’m wondering about the Motown audition. Grant places it in “winter 1968” while the Jacksons website clearly dates it July 23rd, so that doesn’t add up.
I would say it's very safe to use as a guide. I'm not sure why there is an inconsistency with the timing of the Motown audition, though - July is Summer in the USA, not Winter as you have pointed out.

I read somewhere that they played at a Motown party that winter. So maybe Grant mixed up those events? Tito’s website also names July 23rd as the date of the audition:

A terrible loss. We’re so fortunate that he wrote this book. I hope, Taj got to interview him for his documentary.

Hey Book Club, I have a question.

I read in Adrian Grant’s book that Takako Yasuo adapted MJ’s autobiography as an illustrated English text book for Japanese high schools.

Does anyone here know where to obtain a copy of this book? Or do we have scans of it somewhere in this forum, so that I can at least look at it?

    Thanks!

EDIT: The year was 1991, according to Grant.

Not sure where else to post this, so I guess the Book Club is a good place since it’s MJ’s favorite book.

I don't have any knowledge of this one, but I'll ask around.
