Without Michael himself being among us, there is nothing to expect really. But still enjoying the party and curious for this version (whatever it's gonna be:fear:).
 
I never heard that "i wanna be where you are" i hope tdcau 2020 is not just a bunch of covid images & etc. I hope we see some unseen tdcau scenes from the original shorts

Well, I assume it&#8217;ll be what the Estate has announced in their e-mail earlier today. :)

&#8220;During the party, Spike will be premiering his new cut of &#8220;They Don&#8217;t Care About Us&#8221; which has been titled &#8220;They Don&#8217;t Care About Us (2020)&#8221;, which reflects what is currently going on in the world. Spike has combined existing footage from both the Brazil and Prison versions of the short film that he originally directed with footage from current events to create a short film that emphasizes the relevance of this anthem today. It will premiere during the live stream (at about 2 pm ET)! Afterwards, the short film will be available for everyone to see on Michael&#8217;s YouTube channel. &#8221;

Wow, it’s 480p video mixed with 1080p news footage. This can’t be... Spike Lee himself directed this and shot it on film. This must be a joke. They didn’t took the effort to remaster this short film in at least 1080p?

Lmao world premiere??? Cmon now spike....thats so misleading. Its literally both versions mashed up together with 2020 recent images. Definitely didnt expect a remaster or anything & its not even in sync.
 
do you guys know if they'll save it to the channel ? I gotta stop watching now :cry:
