Their whole fandom seems to be very pro-MJ. I read on Twitter that there’s some agreement between the BTS Army and MJFam (or Moonwalkers) to help each other out with YouTube views. I think the plan is that we watch Dynamite and they watch Billie Jean to help it reach 1 billion views.

“Dynamite” stuck in my ear for the whole day yesterday. Not quite my cup of tea, but very catchy and definitely a great summer song. :)

While i'm not really a fan of these guys i have to admit that this song is indeed catchy. i loved it the video. very sweet tribute to Michael. i may check out more of their songs in the future. thanks BTS. :clapping:

I appreciate their support but the music is garbage. Taj saying they are the worlds biggest act is Laughable

I have never ever heard of BTS and I listen to the radio daily.
But it's nice that they support MJ so keep it up BTS!

My cousins are fans of BTS and just K-Pop in general. I do not listen to their music, nor a big fan like my cousins, but this is a pretty good song, and I like their support for Michael.

I began hearing about them from my granddaughter. I actually enjoy their music. She also told me about their work ethic and what it takes to be a member of of BTS.They rehearse their choreography 8-10 hours a day. Not only do these young men write and produce their own music, they are awesome performers and they are all incredible LEAD singers and any one of them could become a successful SOLO artist. I liked their music before I knew they were fans of Michael and now with that knowledge, I am even more of a fan.

I’m happy for Taj. Seeing the young generation celebrate MJ like that must be very uplifting. :)

that's how i see it too. newer generation knowing who Michael is/was. that's a win even i'm not a fan or like k-pop.

I'm personally not part of BTS's fanbase or audience, but I dig their homage for Michael.

I actually had to look up these guys and DuranDuran and Taj are right. their one of the biggest acts right now their up there with michael as music wise right now. so congrats to them good luck on their music careers and comeback. (y)

Up there with Michael music wise? What? No offense but everyone knows who Michael is. I just asked everyone in my how about BTS no one has ever heard of them. Comparing them to a legend is not fair to them or Michael. Nothing against BTS but let see where they stand in 10 years.

The views BTS get are insane. Their fan base is massive. I've never seen anything like it on social media. When people try to start a trend on twitter for something bad the BTS fans will go in and fill it with fan cams to drown them out.

If breaking the world record for most views in 24 hours (101 million views) doesn't translate to being the world's biggest act, I don't know what does.

Liam McEwan interviewed them in English. :)

That has nothing to do with how popular they are now or Taj saying so. You still didn't answer the question about which current acts are more popular.

While i'm not a fan i will say that some fans been putting these guys down by saying they trying to take michael spot etc. it's okay to not like these guys but to down these guys saying their trying to take michael spot is ridiculous. michael always said he would never put down other artists no matter who they were. i honestly see this as a win not because of michael but because different culture acts coming up. their from Asia and michael always wanted different people of different backgrounds etc to make it.

in my opinion i think michael would have been proud to see this. think about all the people before these guys who was and still inspire by michael. this is a win to long time fans because the newer generation also figuring out who michael is/was. so yes. i can understand why Taj is emotional because this is a good thing whatever you like them or not.

so congrats to all of us because we are doing something right for a chance. good luck to bts and their future.

I haven’t seen any fans say they don’t like BTS because they think they may take Michael’s place. This group is not a new group, they have been around for awhile.

During one of Taj’s podcast, he was asked if he thought Michael would like BTS. Taj said that Michael would have loved them and would probably wanted to do a song with them.

Views are not sales. I don’t care how they like to spin it. Streams and views will never be sales in my book. I can remember as a kid how popular MJ was during Thriller he would have broken the internet in his prime. They had to press so many copies of Thriller because it sold so fast, I can remember having to return albums to the store when they came right out of the package they so many so fast the release it’s was warped.

Current living artist that is more popular I would say Garth Brooks. Next time your out ask 10 people if they have every heard of BTS then do the same for Garth. That’s how you view popularity not by YouTube view from teenagers.

Well it seems they've certainly got the sales too:
