There's a great thread about re-sequencing the Invincible album and it got me thinking. Build your definitive MJ studio album.

The album you build won't be a "greatest hits" collection, don't worry about the time it was released, this is all hypothetical, what if imagine these are all "new tracks" on this album.

You can choose ANY song ever released and unreleased (J5 and Jacksons included).
Maximum Number of tracks = 36 (3-disc set)
Least Number of tracks = 8
Maximum number of singles = 4
Least number of singles = 1
B-Sides are allowed and do not have to be on your track list.
Unreleased songs are allowed

Mine would be: the "Man in the Mirror" album

Disc One:

  1. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
  2. 2Bad
  3. Body Language
  4. Blame it on the Boogie
  5. Streetwalker

After writing this, I'm not sure of my choices because they're all so great!

I had more or less the same idea, but with only b-sides/rares/leaks/unreleased... (and 2 CDs instead of of 3... and for leaks limited the qualities that are currently available.)

@Zakk its really good choose :)

4. Billie Jean

  9. Beat It
  10. Thriller
  11. Behind the Mask
  12. It Don't Matter To Me [Interlude]
Side Two:
  1. Bad
  2. Smooth Criminal
  3. Man in the Mirror
  4. Jam
  5. Remember the Time
  6. Dangerous
  7. Black or White
  8. Scream
  9. They Don't Care About Us
  10. You Are Not Alone
  11. Stranger in Moscow
  12. Changes [Interlude]
Side Three:
  1. Unbreakable
  2. Heaven Can Wait
