whether Michael missed a payment and got a default notice...should not be major news.. it irks me that all his business is for open season...the media wants him to fail soooooooooooooo badly that its beyond ridiculous....Donald Trump's filing of chapter 13 for his casinos was not a major news story...if our pres can give a bold face lie to the American people about invading Iraq.. then Raymone has nothing to worry about from that press release...

basically what I got from that press release is that ....the EX- advisors (now fired).. did a disasterous loan agreement.. now Michael is refinancing it to get a must better deal.. and that is really .. NONE OF OUR BUSINESS...
Sony/ATV, a joint venture between Sony Corp (6758.T: Quote, Profile, Research) and pop star Michael Jackson, expects more music catalogues to be put up for sale this year as people look to cash in profits in a slowing economy, said CEO Martin Bandier in a telephone interview.

"To the extent that large acquisitions become available, Sony/ATV is in a particularly good place," he said. "It's hard to overpay for a great Picasso...if you're buying quality music that will last for generations. Great songs are a rarity."

Sony/ATV is a traditional music publisher which makes money every time a piece of music is used on a variety of outlets including radio, movies, live performances, advertising as well as a share from recorded music sales.

Michael understands the importance of copyrights and the role they play in the introduction of new technologies. In joining us for this new venture, Michael recognizes Sony's leadership in developing and realizing new technologies that serve to expand the creative horizons of artists such as himself.

Who here wants to post a default notice or deliquent letter from their mortgage company or bank so we can dissect it???

I'm glad this is getting sorted although why should MJ pay alot of Money if he never goes their anymore i mean i know theirs a chance he might go back but its still alot of Money paying for a place you havnt been to since 2005
if thats the case then he should sell it. if he has it repossed he will make little if anything off the house. it will be sold for peanuts cause all the bank cares about is getting its loan bank. plus having it auctioned off on the court house steps etc and how it damages your credit rating (not that that matter with mj)

re troubleman. this loan is totally seperate to the ATV one. thats all sorted and is being paid over i think the next 5 years. this is totally seperate .alot think it was to do with mj buying out brancas % of the atv cat.he re moraged the ranch to get the money to do it cause its around the amount of what the % of the cat was worth. who knows if thats true though. i wanna know if it was whitman and co that got him to take this loan because we have all seen their agenda.

i posted this on another board but ill stick it in this topic cause ive wondered/worried about this for a while

been wondering if the former advisors who advised him to take this loan were whitman and co.mj filed his suit against them last december but when were they sacked?? in the summer? and when was this loan taken out as bain only says 2006. I do worry about the damage they did and the seemingly pre planned B.S that was going on at that time after they were brought in by schaffel and co. (remembering the lawsuit mj has filed against them) the staff and insurance not being paid at the ranch and then mj taking out a big loan (advised bythem?) and all the unpaid bills that of course make him look bad and the allegations surrounding ainscough etc. it worries me alot that this was all pre planned interms of making his money/accounts look as bad as possible interms of not paying bills making the broke rumours seem more credible to some.and then that helps in the below comments interms of basically setting him up to look guilty.

but my biggest concern that kinda is the furfilment of all the aboves is what were whitman and co doing with mj's taxes? I presume it was their job to pay them aswell?it worries me alot about that and what the possibilities are because all the above that went on seems to fit interms of stiching him up good and proper. not to mention sneddons suposed joke at melvilles do.. i just hope the tax issue has been gone through because whitman and co have seemed to screwed him in relation to everything else.thats why i wonder as to when they were offically sacked

when did londell come in and the anouncments of the refianancing? was it summer 06

Yep it was late summer 2006 that Londell talked about refinances.

I always say that what led to 1993 and 2003 (accusers) were the snakes surrounding Mike up until that point in time.

For Mike's own safety and security (and the preservation of his legacy), he should always run an audit of his staff and advisors. No one, and I mean NO ONE should be given a blank check (remember Stuart Backerman??).

Guess this shows we shouldn't act like we know squat about Michael's finacial situation, because we don't. People get all preachy about how Michael runs his business, but they really have no clue about the inner and outer workings of it all, just like they have no idea about the inner and outer workings of his private life. That's fan's forgetting their role again, I think.

Elusive, The first refinancing was going ahead on or about January 2005, those involved were Don Stabler, Robert Pryce, Michael Sydow Esq, and lawfirm of 'White & Case' there is one other name on that list but I have ommited it.
To cut a long story short, the above named ( along with Darien Dash) took on a firm called 'Transitional' to arrange a loan and refinance. Transisional chose to recommend 'Fortress Investment Group LLC'.
Darien Dash and Don Stabler of 'Stabler and Associates' both held themselves out as authorized representatives of Michael and his 'MJTrust'. Transitional sent Michael a letter of intent (via Don Stabler) which Michael supposedly signed as an individual and as the 'authorized representative 'MJT' and the Transaction for loan and refinancing using Fortress went ahead.

(remember the question of a forged signature during the trial) well Don Stabler is top of my list.

Michael refinanced again in 2006. Don't forget also that Transitional are suing Michael and 'MJTrust' for a huge amount I can't remember when the suit is scheduled for, but if it's not going on now I'm sure it's getting close to the date.

thanks rita. i was thinking more along the lines of what went on around summer 06 when ainscough etc were involved. but we dont know when the ranch loan was taken out only when it matured so maybe it was done early 05?

the whole thing is very confusing. bain claims the morage matured in october so it was finished with yet they filed foreclosure in october. i guess maybe it was in relation to august/sept payments for example. yet they want full payments of 23 mill so the morgage must have been for alot more than that if you still owe 23 mill after nearly a year. the theory of taking it out to buy out brancas % doesnt fit then.
