Whenever I listen to Michael's albums I particularly enjoy the ab libs, for instance on Bad, prob. not on the actually album I heard this on a mix but anyways I like how he goes:

Shamone,shamone
Lay it on me
come on
you know, you Know
get on it
you know

continues.....

Also in Thriller

I'm gonna thrill ya tonight
oooh baby
I'm gonna thrill you tonight
come on now
I'm gonna thrill you tonight...

I rewind those parts over and over, cause I just love the way he sound and how it sounded, you can find what I'm talking about usually on the mixes. :)

I love his adlibs.
Especially in Rock With You live. edjhfvbcjbkhdfrkadvj,

MJ has amazing adlibs!

Especially at the brit awards in 1996 for Earth Song. Omg.

cvbkeffs,keev kvbvkervn er :woohoo:

...and at the end of Liberian Girl! "All of the time!"

OMG yes, and also when he sang Earth Song at the WMA's in '96! I don't actually know the words he was ad-libbing cos they didn't belong to the original song and I couldn't make them out. But I heard the pitch and everything, and I'm tellin ya, it would make you stand up on your feet and start moving along!! And they showed some of the faces in the audience going OMG!!! at the same time - amazing!!

Hey, what about the ad libs at the end of Man in the Mirror in the Grammy's '88? STAAAAND AP, SISTA!! STAAAND AP BRUVVA! :D *faint*

yeaaah! I loooove when he ad-libs!
It's usually the parts where I keep rewinding to hear it again...

Btw, can anyone tell me what "ad-libbing" means??

It's like improvising, except with singing. It usually means putting things in without rehearsing, but with songs it means the extra lyrics at the end. ;)

I like his ad-libbing, in every song, those make his songs so unique. Especially, the most powerful IMO the Grammy's '88 Man in the mirror performance.

Especially when he sings 'Heartbreak Hotel' and 'Earth song'.
Hee ~ Hee~!!
Thriller and Smooth criminal are the most amazing songs for me when it comes to his adlibbing. Pow!

Who Is It has to have the best ad-libs ever, plus like many have said Man In The Mirror live.

'Stand Up & Tell your brother!'

Or Billie Jean live

WHO IS IT definetly!!!!! "Tired of.. tired of, aint nothing nutta brotha! Dont de judging.. dont be judging.. can't you really see I'm lonely!!!"

I rewind that part countless times!! I love it!!!

DON'T WALK AWAY: " I wont forget you geerl... I wont forget you geerl... I wont forget you geeeerl.."

That part makes me ( a 21 year old brotha) teary eyed.

I loved it when he ad libbed at the end of Earth song at the WMA's.

"tell me whaaat about it!" :dies:

^^ Good call. The live IJCSLY is much better 'cos of the ad-libs & extended ending.
Other good live one for ad-libs is Workin' Day & Night.

Ad-Libs on the Acapella to Who Is It are out of this world.
Just listened. omg!!!

Hardly ever listen to WII and I only listened to the acapella once before - can't even remember if I got to the end. I was listening for something else - the painful hee-hee's - and they pretty much destroyed me so I might have bailed out before the end. Anyway, did the whole thing just now.

Unbelievable!

The best ad liber ever, I’d say. And you can tell he’s rooted in gospel.
I simply cannot understand how WII is so underrated as an MJ track to the general public. I haven't heard it on the radio since the 90s, it is never talked about when people discuss his best work, it is never on any "best of" lists. I have questioned my undying love for it several times, even fans don't talk about it all that much. It is one of the greatest songs of all time imo.
