For some time MJJC being off, I hope everyone are feeling alright :D

Mentioning:

A very revealing photo of Heidi Montag graces the new cover of Maxim, and for the accompanying interview, she also revealed to the mag that she wants to be the next Madonna. "But it's not like with most pop artists, where they have a song sent to them that has nothing to do with their emotions or lives," she insisted about her yet-untitled, in-the-works LP. "It's all about me and my life. I'm taking my time to make sure it's a classic. I don't want to be the next pop person who's in or out. I want to be like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder — all the greats."

Today in
Michael Jackson History

1984 - Michael Jackson received seven trophies at the 11th annual American Music Awards.

2004 - Michael Jackson pleaded innocent in his first hearing on child molestation charges. The judge made the following comment after Jackson was 20 minutes late to court. "Mr. Jackson, you have started out on the wrong foot here," the judge said. "I want to advise you that I will not put up with that. It's an insult to the court." About 3,000 fans and news media were outside the court building.

thanks for the news :)

i think it would be good if u guys stopped posting trial stuff in "Today in Michael Jackson History" cuz they bring back bad memories. i dont think we need to go thru these everyday.

Thanks for the news, magic.

Roxanne, you readmy mind. LOL. I agree with that.

Heidi......*sigh*, What can I say that would be nice? Heidi, don't sing and get rid of that creepy Spencer. LOL. But her goal is reasonable.

I posted this tidbit on the "I had itwith MJ" thread because there was no news thread at the time. (If there was, I did not see it). TMZ, the tv show that we should love to hate, will have footage of Will.i.am talking about doing new music for MJ. It (hopefully) should be interesting. Just wanted to give the heads up.

I triple co-sign!!

its funny.. last night the top 40 radio station was playing WBSS with MJ and AKon.(it was a jami.. on my loud speaks with the bass boom).. and then I started to remember 2003 when that same station had a DJ on their that had a one man crusade hating MJ and saying.. HE IS GUILTY....I never thought a song from MJ would ever be played on that station again...this shows to me that Sony...is totally supporting this project...and it really showed me why this T25 project HAD TO BE DONE.. in order for MJ to have success with his new album...

then I thought about the 2 years of hell from 18th Nov 2003 when Neverland was raided to the trial finally starting in 2005... then the acquittal..on 13th June 2005

it seems that its been an eternity since we can look forward to celebrating Michael.. as an ARTIST...

its been a looooooooooooooooooooong time coming.. so NO worries about who he's collaborating with or why T25 is being done.. is such a minor thing to me NOW...

just being there and remembering the dark days.. and seeing this man come through the tunnel ... is special...

this is truly a comeback to me.. becuz someone tried to take his soul - his freedom... and he
over-came ...

this is history ...being recorded...

a continuation of his legacy is being written so.. don't miss it!

Comedian 'harassed Jackson fans'

A man dressed as Jesus brandished a pornographic magazine among a crowd of young Michael Jackson fans in Bayswater, a court has heard.
Self-styled comedy terrorist Aaron Barschak appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London charged with using words or behaviour amounting to harassment, alarm or distress.
The court heard that the alleged incident happened on November 14 2006 when Michael Jackson was staying at the Hempel Hotel.

Bellfield: 'I was watching Michael Jackson interview'
By Victoria Nicholls
The former bouncer accused of stalking girls near bus stops told a court he was watching the Michael Jackson television interview by Martin Bashir on the night Marsha McDonnell was killed.
On his first day on the stand Levi Bellfield told the Old Bailey that he was "pretty certain" that at the time Miss McDonnell was killed he was at home in West Drayton with his girlfriend Emma Mills and their children.
He said he remembered the programme, which was aired on February 3, 2003. Gap year student Miss McDonnell was killed by three blows to the head with a blunt object at just after midnight after getting off a bus in Hampton.

Bellfield, 39, denies her murder, that of French student Amelie Delagrange, the attempted murders of Kate Sheedy and Irma Dragoshi and the kidnap and false imprisonment of Anna-Maria Rennie.
Asked by defence counsel William Boyce QC why on February 8 he booked to go on a last-minute holiday with his family the following week, Bellfield, a wheel clamper, replied: "The business was doing fantastic."
When asked why he initially refused to take part in an identity parade for the abduction of Anna-Maria Rennie, Bellfield said: "It just knocked me sideways.
"I was angry and upset - gutted."
When asked to account for his movements on October 15, 2001, the night of Miss Rennie's abduction in Whitton, Bellfield said: "The day is my son's birthday. I believe and I say this, I believe, that I was having a Chinese out that night."
Bellfield claimed never to have seen Miss Rennie before her court appearance.
Mr Boyce asked him if at that time he owned or had use of a blue or green Mondeo, with part of the registration reading L651, as described by Miss Rennie. Bellfield replied: "No I did not."
Bellfield confirmed to the jury a number of previous convictions, which date back to 1982. They range from drunk and disorderly to ABH on a police officer in 1991 over a row about loud music, for which he was imprisoned for six months.
The trial continues.

Thanks for the news! :)

Hey, I've read on another site that Santana gave an interview to some spanish program and he made a "surprising" revelation that Quincy Jones is working with Michael again for his new album. He also said he is admired to be able to work again with Michael and Quincy.

So, that would mean Michael's new CD will feature Santana as well, and that Quincy is somehow envolved on the production...
Has anybody heard about that? Does anybody know if it's true or just a rumour?

Thanx for the news. So Depps Wonka wasnt based on MJ?

The Most Misunderstood Man In The World
mattfiddes.jpg
(16-1-2008) Matt Fiddes (28) has worked for Michael Jackson as a bodyguard on several occasions - and is proud to count him as a personal friend. When his mum was battling breast cancer, the entertainer even called her regularly to cheer her up. And dad-of-five Matt also had no qualms about his children meeting Michael.
Matt says:
"Michael must be the most misunderstood man in the world.

He is such a nice guy behind closed doors. Once you get to know him, you see that - but for most people his huge international profile tends to get in the way.

Michael definitely wants to keep the mystery going. It's like a game to him. He knows he can go out and be photographed and the photos will be used worldwide.

During a visit to London in 2002, Michael took my stepsons, Archie and Charlie, on a shopping trip to Hamleys toy store. He's a great guy and I didn't have any problem with it. It sounds like a dream come true to most kids, but the boys were too shy to choose anything expensive. They came home with just a few bits and pieces."
Matt Fiddes was introduced to Michael Jackson by Uril Geller after taking part in a fitness video alongside Geller.
"One night Uri called me at 2am and said 'You have to come to my house now, or you'll regret it for the rest of your life.'

I made the three hour trip from Devon to Sonning-on-Thames, Berkshire. My jaw dropped when I watched Martin Bashir's documentary at Uri's house. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into Uri's living room and Michael Jackson was sitting there on the sofa.

Michael mentioned he was looking for a bodyguard in the UK and asked me to keep in touch. From then on I was his bodyguard on trips to the UK."
Amazingly, Matt was present at the Renaissance Hotel in London in 2002 when Martin Bashir pitched Michael Jackson the idea for his famous and so very controversial documentary.
"Martin told Michael it would be the best thing he could do for his career.

It was supposed to be about the music and Mike's children were to be kept out of the final cut. Of course it was nothing of the sort and my jaw dropped when I watched the show at Uri's house.”
During filming for Martin Bashir's documentary, Matt also worked for Michael Jackson, who tried to escape the press:
Michael would come up with elaborate plans to escape the crowds. He asked me to dress up like him to distract the fans and he would sneak out the back door. He produced white socks, a military-style jacket and sunglasses for me to put on. The US security team of four bodyguards came with me through the front of the hotel. People were grabbing my hands and talking to me as if I was their hero. Meanwhile Michael snuck out the back with one bodyguard and had about 20 minutes of hassle-free browsing before he was recognised.

Another time, Michael and I ordered a takeaway curry and escaped to Uri's house in Berkshire. I had to pinch myself when I was sitting on the floor with the King of Pop eating a curry and watching Bruce Lee movies."
Despite the excitement, Matt's memory of the time is tinged with sadness. During the same period his mum, Majella Norris, was diagnosed with breast cancer and given just six months to live. But when Matt confided in Michael, the star didn't waste any time giving his stricken mum a call.

"That really touched me.

Michael's a very sensitive human being and he'd ring my mum every day to see how she was coping.

He makes a big impression on everyone, and she really appreciated his best wishes. Thankfully Mum pulled through and is loving her retirement."

Rasta, that was beautiful! Thanks for posting! Michael, you are the sweetest, most wonderful man in the world! God Bless You Baby!

Very sweet thank you for posting and sharing , the world HAS to learn !

I didn't post the Matt Fides article because we didn't have a news thread. This time I guess I'll just post in yesterdays thread. Not as good an article but nice anyway. Um, why does it seem like everyone on the planet except me has spoken to Michael at some time or another.

Boxford - As one of 10 unsigned music groups nationwide to be chosen for a video spot during the Super Bowl, Boxford-based Playback is pushing hard and making a bang in every way possible.
............

Performing in shows across the country and opening for acts such as Kanye West, the group has made contact with many experienced musicians, along the way capturing whatever wisdom they see worthy.
“Study Fred Astaire and James Brown,” Daryl said of the advice given to him by Michael Jackson during a discussion he had over the phone with the celebrity, who the band member had always idolized for his legendary dancing performance.
While the two admitted to being star struck when on speakerphone with the pop king, at times, they too are prone to causing a little hysteria. During one show in Worcester, original Playback beats and stage performance had the crowd so crazy for the local band, that the audience of 100-plus broke down a small fence to be flush with the stage.

The resolution? Never surrender yourself, your personality and your character to your significant other. Although you'll never be able to do the exact things you love most with your boyfriend or girlfriend, make sure to keep those friends around whom you can do those things with. At the same time, learn to love the things you do with your significant other, because most of the time it's stuff you wouldn't be paid to do in your old days.

Or, you can always pursue your ideal flawless significant other. What's my idea of a perfect girl, you ask? Well, she has to look a lot like Natalie Portman, know all the lines to at least five pre-2002 Jay-Z tracks, have seen at least 90 percent of all Seinfeld episodes, not think Michael Jackson is a freak and love to dance, even if she's worse on the floor than I am. There are quite a few more criteria, but the screening process has to start somewhere, right?

Shalamar superstar Jeffrey Daniels

By JAMES WILLOUGHBY

Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar, Alnwick Playhouse; Saturday, February 9, 7.30pm. Tickets: £16.50, £15.50 conc. Tel: 01665 510785
STAR of Shalamar Jeffrey Daniel promises to make it a night to remember when he brings a fusion of funk, soul and dance to the Alnwick Playhouse.

The dance icon, who taught Michael Jackson the moonwalk, will make you feel good with a combination of his unique individual talents, from dancing to song writing.

Jeffrey said: "People know me as a member of Shalamar and they know me for my dancing rather than my other musical abilities.

"But I am going full circle with my music and I'm reinventing myself, so I will be performing as a singer, song writer, a guitarist and a dancer.

"But I will be going back to the future with my dancing and am going to take people back to before Top of the Pops in 1982, when a lot of people first saw me. I have a whole new repertoire that nobody has ever seen before."

Jeffrey was the original member of Shalamar, and it was their second single – Second Time Around – which propelled them into the spotlight.

They went on to have world-wide hits including Night to Remember, and I Can Make You Feel Good and toured the world, filling arenas and stadiums.

Jeffrey said: "To be in Shalamar was an absolute dream and to achieve what we did was unbelievable.

"For me, having international acceptance is one of the highlights of my career and to go to the UK, sell out Wembley Arena in 1982 and walk out on stage was a very emotional moment."

Shalamar went on to be one of the most successful soul groups of all time, selling 25million albums worldwide.

But with the group at its peak, Jeffrey left to pursue a solo career as one of the highest profile cho
reographers and dancers in the business, working with an array of stars including Michael Jackson.

He said: "Michael Jackson's Bad was the first video I did outside of Shalamar and that was a milestone for me. It was amazing to work with Michael and Quincy Jones.

"I know it is a cliche but Michael is just the sweetest guy and a truly magical performer."

And for Jeffrey, who is currently working on a new album, music has always been in his blood.

He explained: "I came from a musical background. My mother was a classical pianist and my sisters taught me how to dance.

"But more importantly, I lived in a black neighbourhood, the LA ghetto, and Motown was all around us, it was in the atmosphere.

"It made you want to dance and dancing is so part of our culture that it made you cool."

And he joked: "In fact, I used to be a bit of a geek but my dancing made me a bit cooler."
