Getting Airplay for New Releases - Please Add Your Local Radio Stations

Hi I don't know if this is up somewhere and I don't see it. If it is, just direct me to it? And I'll add my stations to it.

For the new releases, I wanted to start a thread where all of us here post up the phone numbers for our local radio stations so that all of us can call regardless of where we are in the US to request airplay.

I have unlimited long distance, maybe others do too. I don't really care where I'm calling as long as it is US, and I would call and request, and I am guessing others would do the same to get air play. I have a list of about 100 in my area I can post, and then if others will post their's then I will call those also.


I havent screened my list for genre, so if you call off my list and hit country or classical or whatever, just dont worry about it too much, just move onto the next number.


If you put up your lists I'll call off them also, hopefully others will join in and we can start a chain reaction of airplay all over US.

Since we're all doing this of our own initiative, please no one complain about the lists put up. You can post up if you like which stations are wrong genre, but truly I wouldn't worry over it if those calling are all calling from an unlimited plan. If a lot of fans join in to participate who don't have unlimited calling plans, then yes, it would be helpful so we can take those off the lists.


Here's my list. Please post yours too, so I can dial and make requests in your area as well. I just went to Yahoo Yellow Pages and Put in my zipcode and then Radio Stations to get my list. Took less than 3 minutes. Let's get the US airplay UP UP UP!!! :) Thanks so Much!

I don't know if it's off topic but: in Sweden one of the biggest (if not the biggest) radio station for teenagers, NRJ, has Akon & Michael Jackson - Wanna Be Startin Somethin as this weeks smash hit! It's being playd several times a day.
 
Just came to say that I've heard Wanna be startin' somethin' ( singed by Akon ) on my radio station! ^_^ Sound great ( though other listeners have only dissed the song :( )

This is the link if someone would like to request the song on NRJ Sweden. In the form you just have to fill in "Ditt namn" = your name, "Ort" = city (put Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö) "E-mail" and "Meddelande" = message (Michael Jackson & Akon : Wanna Be Startin Somethin). Ande then click on "Skicka" = send.

Yep...I live just north of Toronto and listen to Z103.5 all the time. They have been playing Wanna Be Startin Somethin all week! Its really popular. It won last night against Ne-Yo with 83% of the vote for the 4th night in a row!! Tonight at 7pm (eastern time) they are playing it again only tonight its going against the single by Justin Timberlake! It could enter some tough competition, the radio hosts have been playing it up all day sayin "its michael jackson vs justin timberlake, 20 years in the making" ...So everybody vote here is the info directly from www.z1035.com :
