A lot of people wish to widen their music collection and people love discovering new music. So I thought I'd start a thread people to recommend an album or albums they love or for people to ask for recommendations by telling us what type of music they're in to.

I'll start by recommending a sometimes overlooked album that I think everyone should hear.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses

Re: Recommend an album

how the hell do i post pictures???

Just get the url of the picture
(Let's say you wanna post the Mika album cover, the url is the web site of the picture: http://img.tesco.com/pi/entertainment/CD/LF/761749_CD_L_F.jpg )

Then just put these tags around the url:

Like this:
url]

(Without the spaces though.)

Anyway, a great thread.
I recommend Erykah Badu's Baduizm.
Let's say you wanna relax and listen to music that makes you feel like you're floating on air, put this album on (make sure the bass is on real loud, lol) and liiiiiiistennnnn. Lovely. ;)

Yes Indeed! To me, when you speak of 'POP Diva of the 80's' or even early 90's, Annie's the one!

I live in the U.S so it hasn't come out yet, do you have a download link for it? Or you can just hit me up with the date that it comes out on. Thanks!

Re: Recommend an album

Does anyone know if there have been any good techno/trance albums released since the beginning of this year? Or can anyone recommend one released between the year 2000 and the end of 2007?

Re: Recommend an album

So,Giddy you love basically every album that a black man with a goatee sings lol :D

Re: Recommend an album

Ledisi has been around for a few years, but I'm just getting into her. Her album "Lost and Found" which came out last year is my one of my faves. It's just just a great soul album with a hint of jazz. I love it!

Ledisi%20Album%20Cover.jpg

What can I really say about this one? This album is one of the greatest and most important albums ever. Everyone should own this in their collection as far as i'm concerned.

It Won't Be Soon Before Long - Maroon 5

I was a huge Maroon 5 fan, but the album disappointed me :(

I mean, I can listen to it, and I do like some songs, but IMO Songs about Jane is a genius compared to the new one. It's kinda too commercial. But that's just my opinion ;)
