A dancing dog and an Asian Michael Jackson tribute band were last night confirmed as the first finalists of Britain's Got Talent.
The two acts won through the first heat for the final, which was screened on ITV last night.
After thousands of hopefuls auditioned, they were among the last 40 acts to battle it out for a place in Saturday night’s grand final. Two acts will be voted through every day this week.

Signature, a Michael Jackson tribute band who combined lyrics and dance moves from the singer with traditional Indian dancing, were voted into the final by the public.
The pair wore red outfits in tribute Michael Jackson's iconic Thriller video as they fused Bhangra beats and dance moves with the 1980s classic track.

"That was one of the best acts because you have something so important, originality. Guys - three yeses."
Scary: The boys were praised for their originality and will appear in Saturday's final...

London, May 27 (ANI): The dynamic duo Suleman Mirza and Madhu Singh of the well established dance troupe Signature delighted the judges with their performance at the auditions for Britains Got Talent.
While Mirza wowed the crowds with his Michael Jackson impersonation, Singh wandered on stage, broom in hand, on the pretence of sweeping the floor.
Signature gave Jackson hit Thriller a Bollywood edge, which judges agreed was one of the ITV1 shows most original performances.
You are two ordinary guys doing ordinary day jobs and by nights you do this crazy, crazy act, The Sun quoted judge Piers Morgan, as saying.
