Why is Heavy D cut out of Janet's "Alright" video

I have the VHS of Janet's Rhythm Nation video compilation, and it has the Heavy D rap on "Alright". But on the Design Of A Decade DVD compilation, he's edited out. The Rhythm Nation compilation was reissued on DVD for a brief period, and the video was cut here as well. Does anyone have any info on why Heavy D was cut?

I have the DVD that was packaged with a remastered re-release of the Rhythm Nation 1814 album and he's edited out of that version. I haven't seen any other version of the DVD.

I'm not sure. But I'm positive Janet didn't have anything against Heavy D since he was apart of a tribute Brownstone did for Janet in '98.

^^^^Lots of people have more than one video of a song (like the Pet Shop Boys "Opportunities"), but that doesn't explain why he is on the videocassette of the Rhythm Nation comp, but is not on the DVD of the same comp. I have both and they are exact duplicates in every way except the Heavy D in Alright.
