Did 1. either J5 have a Christmas Special / Christmas album & or any of the Jacksons put out anything like that.? I think Janet should.:D

&2. a Jackson tv Christmas Special ???

Yup..they play it a lot on the radio where I live :D

are you a new fan? of course the jackson 5 have a christmas album, it was and still is very popular

^^ The original poster is'nt a new, she's been a member since October of 2004 as I can see in the join date. Maybe there are some things things that she didn't know about the Jackson 5 although it's everywhere and even many non-fans know it exists from the "I Saw Mama Kissing Santa Claus".

And for the OP:

And here's some of the tracks:

And there was no Jackson 5 christmas special to answer the second question.

My join dates wrong. I joined Oct 09

Wish I had that glitch. :(

But that's off topic. And there was never really a Christmas special although there's seemed like an opportunity to do this a few times during that era unless they were out on tour or something.

Of course they did. Every fan should know that

We really need something like a "Newbie Fan FAQ" thread

Did they sing any of their Christmas songs on shows? Music channels never show Jackson 5 Christmas music. Maybe that's why the orignal poster is asking about a Christmas album.

Of course they did, and it remains one of their most popular albums. MJ is so cute. :)

They did a charity Christmas show in 1971 for blind children. It was Randy's first gig, and they did a lot of their Christmas songs that night. It may be the only time they did. Michael did appear in a 1978 Sesame Street Christmas special but didn't sing he just did a cameo.

Yep, and the cameo is very small.

This isn't an episode official episode of sesame street, just a type of special that was on CBS hence why you don't see Elmo and others. Michael was never on the real show.

I was listening to the Christmas album a few weeks ago and my mum switched it off, saying that the voices of everyone other than MJ grate when she listens!

Just shows who the talented Jackson is/was! ;)
