I would say that she is DESPERATE to maintain a degree of the spotlight she was able to garner after Michael passed away.

Oh and THE MONEY she is able to earn, by giving these interviews to whomever may ask.

This is why I'm worried they'll do the same ,oh well they already did to a certain degree,with M's kids....tributes and good words aren't working anymore,they need more if they aim to be on tv or to be media relevant like last year and we know they know no boundaries when it comes to money.

She should KNOW who she is sitting down with, in my opinion.

I mean, a "high-profile" person like her (LOL), should not be sitting down with EVERY Tom, Dick or Harry!

Her sitting down with B. Walters or Diane Sawyer is one thing, but this character is a virtual nobody and in my opinion all LaToya saw at the end of the day was the money she would be earning.

Well, although I know about Guttierrez book, I have never seen a pic of him before - it is possible La Toya doesn't know what he looks like either. That would be a common name - but she should have checked. I would find it unlikely she wouldn't have heard about it.

I was so, so,sooooooo angry that day!!! I mean, all decent MJ fans in Chile were totally upset and sick by this info That man has hurted Michael and his kids so much for so long. And he has hurted us fans so much too!!! The 26th 2009 he was at a Chilean TV channel spreading once again his many lies while fans were mourning MJ, in tears, feeling deep pain and suffering so much!! It was late at night, but as the TV station was rather never, all went there to protest against this coward and ask for him to be taken away. The coward, of course, was given plenty of time on the screen to make fan of us, of all of us, of our pain and suffering and he would say things like: "Naaa, they are but silly little girls, blind fanatics, they don't want to see the truth about this p******, I don't give a damn about them, I pity them"

The show made the fans looked like fools and he as the hero. Next day, of course, it was on the tabloids too and really nothing was done, it was only asked from him to show real proofs of his sayings and they turned into a circus

I have no idea what she knew before or after, but she should have checked it out, before she signed on the dotted line. Especially considering that this was an interview which would be held out of her own country.

Maybe it's just me, but a quick GOGGLE check would have answered any questions she and/or her boyfriend-manager may have had.

This Victor guy ask her for an interview, and she does NO background check. Not necessarily to check on any prior association Victor may have had with Michael. I'm talking about a GOGGLE inquiry to check out his "interview style" or maybe to see who else he may have interviewed in the past. SMDH! I just don't see folks sitting down without checking out who they will be sitting down with in advance.

To be honest, I didn't know about ANY of these folks until the trial. Then I learned who ALL the player's were. And at that point, it wasn't really hard, because they were ALL in your face 24/7.
