It was just announce on HLN that Mesereau would be on Jane Velez Mithchell's show Issues this afternoon. Should be good.

Can I get rid of the smile? My mistake.

I won't be able to watch obviously, but am very curious. So a request to those who will watch, please let us know what he said.

Yes, please let us know what T-Mez has to say about this....

I would liek to know what he thinks of this whole situation.

thanks, i'll try to catch it even if i can't stand that woman

becasue hes not the D.A and hes a defence lawyer

I mentioned Janes show the other day, and some people accused me of promoting her show. I think it has some valuable information sometimes, just like TMZ. I don't believe everything they say though.

I love Tom Mesereau. Classy dude! I hope he lets them have it.

I caught the last few minutes of it online, man, that woman's annoying!
Did anyone record all of it?

I just watched this (probably missed the beginning).

- She asked if he saw / heard / knew that MJ was using propofol during 2005 trial?
- T-Mez said he never saw/heard any use of propofol or any other prescription medicine. He said MJ had sleep issues, eating problems, nervous and depressed but all of these are normal things to go through for anyone who was facing such a criminal charge.

- She asked if he was depressed after the 2005 trial and therefore needed the propofol?
- T-mez did not like her wording (needed propofol). He said even if this is the case (that he was depressed) the doctors should provided him with appropriate medicines and/or psychological help and not give a medicine (propofol) that they weren't supposed to give outside hospital setting.

- She asked during and after trial that MJ seemed fragile, slowly moving, in wheelchair etc but in TII he looked/ danced like he was young.
-T-Mez said the burden of sitting in a courtroom for 5 days a week for 5 months and listening all those lies against you do not go away instantly after the not guilty verdict. He said he wants to believe that by time he recovered from such negativity.

- Perphaps most importantly she asked about the family wants murder 2 but the DA wants to charge Murray with involuntary manslaughter and his opinion.
- T-Mez said he understood the family's emotions however he said he prefered that the DA goes with a charge that they can prove. He said he prefers IM and a conviction rather than see him charged with murder2 and found not guilty on all charges and walk away.

Finally he said that Michael used to call him during the 2005 trial and cry to him about how he was worried about the future of his children. He said that Michael was a sensitive, wonderful creative person who did not deserve to be in that courtroom.

You gotta love T-Mez, he is still defending MJ. :)

Anyway this is what I can remember. Probably it is not complete and not word to word.

I barely remembered to watch it and I didn't catch it from the beginning, but this is what I caught. I'm just posting what TMez said and not the questions:

TMez was talking about the profocol and he said that based on the people he had been talking to that there would never be an appropriate reason for any doctor to administer that drug in the home. He said that while he understood from an emotional standpoint the family and fans wanting a murder 2 charge, that it was important to make a charge that you can really prove. If they (DA) overshoot with a murder charge and they fail, that's it. He said that he would go with the IM charge, but he understood emotionally why many would want more.

TMez was asked about how MJ could go from a total physical wreck in 2005 to looking fit to doing a show (Velez claims to have been shocked....SHOCKED! I say) that MJ looked to be so fit in watching the TII footage. Kinda a dumb question, but Mez that a lot of time had past from the end of the trial to 2009 and that perhaps MJ had had enough time to get himself mentally and physically together. Velez-Mitchell did ask him about whether or not MJ was depressed during the trial, enough to be taking something and TMez stated with firmness that MJ did not take any Propocol at that time. I was just coming in to the conversation, but what I know TMez has said in the past was that MJ was alert, lucid and very attentive and engaged in his defense during that time.

When asked about the sequence of events in MJ's home the day he died, he said that things may have occurred in a certain way, but it was what you can prove in a court of law that is the most important. He repeated that an IM charge maybe more suitable because of this reason.

TMez talked about the toll that the trial had taken on MJ. He said that MJ knew that he was up at 3 am everyday preparing for his trial and MJ would call worried and crying, concerned about his children's future. TMez said that MJ went through an incredibly difficult time during that trial and may not have fully recovered from it and that he was such a gentle, sensitive soul.

The trial was in 2005 and his rehearsals was 2009. He had time to recover. I saw video of him at the 2006 World Music Awards and I thought he looked great.

Well, the media basically brainwashed themselves into thinking that MJ
was out of shape and junk. They never wanted to give him any credit.
Hopefully the whole interview will be up on youtube or in 2000 watts soon.
Would love to see the whole thing, T-Mez is wonderful.

Thank you guys so so much for doing that! You're lifesavers! :D :flowers:

And yeah, Michael looked absolutely AMAZING in 2007-2008, sooo healthy.

Ivy and Mello, thank you for the summary. I love T-Mez. It's wonderful to know that Michael had such amazing people in his life who didn't want anything from him and were there for him when he was with us and are still protecting him after he's gone. These people are few and should be treasured.

Thanks Ivy and Mello!!!

And thanks Mr. Meserau.

He seems to be a blessing for this world.

Thanks Ivy and Mello! You guys are so awesome.

THANK YOU.
YOU DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. :flowers:

Yes, wonderful interview with Mesereau.

But did anyone watch the beginning with the discussion panel? There was a live caller (kind of sounded like Latoya, lol) who brought up the fact it was taking so long to arrest Murray and questioning why Murray is still practicing medicine and how they took Michael and handcuffed him and humiliated him and they are going so easy on Murray, etc, etc. When they cut back to Jane for a reaction she just abruptly changed the subject. She said it was an interesting point but immediately went into the subject of the Doctor's troubled history. What's the point of having people call in then? Annoying.
