actually we didn't but instead everyone came to my house for a small bbq, had a vigil, some tears really flowed when a fan was telling her story.... had a balloon release... then went to a tribute thing in ft worth texas.... it was a good day.

Hey girl! how r u? Just a heads up me and the DC/MD crew are trying to plan a tribute event on june 25 in freedom plaza. Its just in the beginning stages so ..lol..we gotta make a website and get a permit first. But if we can get that done then its easy rollin, your welcome to be apart of it once we figure out everything.

I actually do have plans. Me and my MJ friends in Texas are going to San Antonio to a park, and possibly Seaworld together. I've been having hardships too. I have been jobless for a while, but I just started a job for Dollar General, but I have not heard from the manager yet. I hope she calls me back by tomorrow, if not I am going to try to get a hold of her. I just can't wait to work. And I'll tell my mom you said hi. By the way you are welcomed to come visit Texas too.

Hey!! sorry about your phone lol. But yeah i had fun, I actually met some MJ fans too! They were from DC and Northern Va. We hung out at the party, then caught the subway back to manhattan, and i bought this awesome MJ shirt too! It was good fun!

Hey girl....great to hear from someone close by. Myself and another MD fan GenieBottle are trying to coordinate flights for possibly making it out to CA for the funeral. But if not I am def going to try to do something on Friday, whether it be going up to NY to the apollo, or trying to get a group together to watch the news.....let me know if you have any ideas. I mean I'd like to even get a small group together for the funeral......I just need to be around people who understand what I'm going through. Peace

Hey there, sorry I noticed that both you and earthlyme are from my area. I live in the DC/MD area. Would be nice to meet more fans here. There is a group of 4-5 of us..used to me more but they moved. I met them when MJ came to the embassy. It would great if we could get together and hold a vigil here. I can't make it to the funeral and I don't like them. I'm going to the 02 to pay my respects too but I think I will miss MJJC's vigil unless they do it another day after the 13th. Please contact me...I really want to honor MJ in this area to!

yeah, I only heard about NY gathering too. I cant go that far cuz ama be starting summer classes on tuesday. Hopefully we get to have the last chance of seeing him.
