Jennifer Lawrence.....she has other movie credits, but what she is best known for is last year's The Hunger Games....have you seen it?..... ....and now SLP. Her performance was indeed awesome. :yes: I hope she wins. ray:

This year 9 movies are nominated for Best Picture. I've seen 7 out of the 9. :wild: I've seen Argo, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Life Of Pie, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty. I have not seen: Amour and Beasts of the Southern Wild.

Predictions.....from what I've read around the web:

Best Picture:
Will win: Argo
Could win: Lincoln
Should win: Zero Dark Thirty

Best Actress:
Will win: Emmanuelle Riva (Amour)
Could win: Jennifer Lawrence
Should win: Emmanuelle Riva

We'll see what happens Sunday.

P.S. Have you seen Life of Pi?

Yes, the actors were absolutely amazing.........Cooper and Lawrence. :swoon: Last month, I watched the Golden Globes, and I was surprised that Lawrence won..........she had tough competition. :shock: But after watching the movie, it totally makes sense.........she was incredible. :yes: The movie earned four noms for the Golden Globes.........for the Academy Awards (Oscars), it has earned 8 noms. :wild: Academy Awards will air on Feb. 24........we'll see what happens.

P.S. I haven't seen Garden State yet. :shock: But I will soon.
