Yeah, I was thinking of stuff they could actually do.

If there's no behind the scenes footage, then there's no behind the scenes footage. But as long as the director is still alive, you could record that today.
 
ItÂ’s getting difficult to come up with ideas for a release. The obvious answer for most of us is unreleased music. All indications in resent years or should I say since 2014 is the estate are not interested in releasing anything. LN or the pandemic aside WTF are we waiting for? Fact is people have made up their mind on MJ years ago release something already and not some half ass documentary like Off the wall and a piece of chalk.
 
We need Ghosts on Bluray or 4K. Also would like to see an official release of Moonwalker on bluray for the USA. Also The Legend Continues on bluray. I think Motown owns that special.
 
Actual audiophile releases of albums (and also non album stuff...)
 
to me, the most important thing is 4K scans from all videoclips, then a concert release, MJ is the only 20th century big artist with crappy resolution videos on dvd and online streamings
 
I would like to see better t-shirts and hoodies with better designs, the crap they came out with recently is garbage I've seen fans come out with better designs.
I also would like if John Branca wasn't working with someone to do a biopic, the last thing we need is a Michael Jackson biopic. What we need is a 5 to 10 part docuseries of Michael's life.
 
IÂ’d like the website to get a facelift. IÂ’m not a Prince fan, but I love how creative and unique his website is. The current MJ site just feels so haphazard.

The website and e-commerce store both suck hard. There should be permanent MJ merch on there that you actually want to buy. Not the first few paragraphs of his Wikipedia pasted onto a hoodie.
 
50th anniversary boxset like TUC with an opus and documentary included. Unreleased songs, alternate takes, demos!
 
#1 We should be getting completely remastered anniversary editions of every single MJ album, with all demos, early versions, and unreleased songs included (no remixes). EMPTY THE FREAKING VAULTS.


#2 Michael’s music released in Dolby Atmos

#3 4K mixes of Michael’s short films.

#4 Unreleased videos and pictures of MJ.

#5 Create merchandise that fans actually want. Give us non-generic items.

#6 Value the MJ Fan community. Promote it, speak to us, and listen to us.
 
Agree with Always There. I'm not a Prince fan either but the website over there is much better than what the Estate does for Michael. Not sure why. Just in Michael's fanbase alone there is huge amounts of talent and creativity. Just seems weird.

I would also like to have some reassurance that Michael's archives are being properly looked after, his costumes, ephemera, just all of his stuff in those 5 warehouses. I get it, the Estate is assumed to be all about making loads of money. I understand that. Maybe that IS its prime concern. But looking after Michael's estate goes beyond money-making activities. Or it should. Keeping Michael at the top of the Dead Celebrities Earnings chart is fine but there is so much more to his legacy than that. All of it needs to be carefully protected and curated for the future. Doesn't seem like they are all that bothered. But they should be.
